Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates said his foundation will spend billions of dollars to fund the construction of factories for the most promising efforts to develop a vaccine to combat the novel coronavirus. This is the same Bill Gates who said in a recent TED talk: "We don’t want to have a lot of recovered people..." He doesn't want the multitudes (98% to 99%) who get COVID-19 and are either asymptomatic or have mild symptoms much like the common cold, to acquire long term immunity and greatly lessen the impact of a future coronavirus outbreak.
