The FDA recalled the Innova Antigen Rapid Test in mid-June 2021 and the CDC has withdrawn the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization of the CDC 2019 - Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) RT PCR Diagnostic Panel, as of December 31, 2021, due to its inaccuracy and inability to distinguish influenza from Covid-19.
