The Democrats' fixation on the Ukraine and the temporarily-constricted torrent of foreign aid to that former Soviet Republic did not start with the Atkinson-Ciaramella Affair nor with the gang of Deep State freshmen congressmen (and women) sending a letter to Madame Pelosi asking her to initiate the impeachment inquiry nor with Adam "I Like Chocolate" Schiff convening his Star Chamber deep below the cast iron dome of the Capitol. In this century, the Democrats saw dollar signs at the city limits of Kyiv soon after Barack Hussein Obama took office. Victoria "F--k the EU" Nuland, Bumbling Joe Biden, and a gaggle of grifters arrived there and made themselves at home.

Joe, instead of putting Hunter in extended rehab, eventually got him a lucrative sinecure with Burisma. Ms Nuland took up the banner of NATO expansionism and declared, "Let there be a color revolution." And so, with American expertise and plenty of greenbacks, the Maidan uprising led to the ouster of President Viktor Yanukovych in February of 2014. Once destabilized and handed over to neo-Nazis by our State Department functionaries, the Ukraine split along a language fissure. The Russian-speakers in the east and in the Crimean peninsula exited stage right - and rightly so. Ms. Nuland and company never got the chance to snatch the warm water port the Russian Navy has at Sebastopol. NATO did not expand (yet).

American machinations so often go awry. Preparing for blowback is not in their playbook. Those who fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

I was hoping that Biden, clad in a cardigan, would recreate the 1854 battle at Balaclava in the Crimea to wrest it from the citizens who seceded democratically from the Ukraine. Alas, a second Charge of the Light Brigade did not occur and Bumbling Joe was not run through with a bayonet. Too bad. Think of all the schools that night have been named for him.

So now, US taxpayers are supposed to assist the Ukraine to protect itself from the consequences of mischief instigated with earlier US taxpayer assistance? WTF (pardon my Français)

Even a clueless Inspector Clouseau, just by reading alternative media (instead of the mainstream media), could have learned the details outlined above. This is as easy as turning on the kitchen light at 2:00 AM and disturbing a convention of cockroaches. Reading alternative media is like turning on the light. What are you waiting for? Go stomp on the cockroaches.

(b) an exposition on foreign aid

All foreign aid is unconstitutional. If you don't believe me, reread the Constitution and look for the specific clause that unambiguously authorizes Congress to appropriate foreign aid. Theft by majority vote is still theft. Bipartisan means everyone's hands are in the cookie jar.

Foreign aid happens because it is in perfect alignment with the interests of both the Corporate State and the Deep State. Foreign aid happens because the recipients invariably kick back a percentage to their Congressional benefactors. Both Democrats and Republicans benefit from those arrangements. Please don't tell me you are shocked, shocked by the venality of the usual suspects. Of course your civics textbooks did not include the chapter on corruption and graft and influence peddling and pay to play and quid pro quo. If they had, the educational bureaucrats would not have approved them for your innocent eyes to see.

I would name names only if I lived incognito in a place with no extradition treaty with the US and if I had no beneficial interest in any account or asset in the US. However, to give you something to think about: Why do candidates and their campaign committees spend astronomical amounts of money to run for offices that pay so little? Ignore their circumlocutions about public service and civic duty. They know there is gold in them thar hills, especially Capitol Hill.

(c) a short study of the Hebrew word, natan

Natan, depending on the context, means gift or give. It is the source of the name, Nathan. Being a palindrome makes it special. It is much like a perfect two-way mirror - each party becomes both a giver and a receiver - each party is blessed. The exchange becomes a win-win. So, seen through this perspective, foreign aid is the ultimate natan. Everyone wins (except the taxpayers). Please accept this as your received wisdom for the day. You're welcome.

The ultramarine observers were counting on foreign aid to fund the acquisition of the weapon.
