Health authorities on alert after nurse DIES following vaccination with Pfizer’s Covid-19 shot in Portugal

Health authorities in Portugal are investigating the sudden death of a pediatric surgery assistant in Porto, who was reportedly in “perfect health” when she received the Pfizer vaccine against the coronavirus.

Identified on Monday as Sonia Azevedo, 41, the mother of two worked as a surgical assistant at the Instituto Portugues de Oncologia (IPO), an oncology hospital in Porto. She was among the 538 healthcare workers at IPO who received their first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine last Wednesday. Azevedo had dinner with her family on New Year’s Eve, and was found dead in bed the following morning.

I want to know what caused my daughter’s death” her father Abilio told the Portuguese tabloid Orreio da Manha. He described her as a “well and happy” person who “never drank alcohol, didn’t eat anything special or out of the ordinary.”

Azevedo was so proud to be among the first to receive the vaccine, she changed her Facebook profile picture to reflect that. “Covid-19 vaccinated,” she wrote under a selfie with her face mask on.

We don’t know what happened. It all happened quickly and with no explanation,” Azevedo’s daughter Vania Figueiredo told the paper. “I didn’t notice anything different in my mother. She was fine. She just said that the area where she had been vaccinated hurt, but that’s normal…” (read more)

The media are lying about Trump's phone call with Raffensperger

The mainstream media and Georgia's secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, are utterly disgraceful, dishonest, and manipulative people.  Raffensperger released a private phone call that the media immediately claimed — falsely — showed Trump begging Raffensperger to fraudulently find enough votes for Trump to win.  In fact, Trump called Raffensperger to get him to stop obstructing the fraud investigation.  As Trump explained during the call, evidence proves Trump won Georgia by a massive margin, only to have victory stolen through equally massive fraud.  Trump sought to avoid litigation forcing Raffensperger to do his job, which is to make at least a minimal effort to clear away enough fraud to allow Trump his actual and honest victory in Georgia.

Here are just two examples of the media's dishonest claim that Trump was trying to force Raffensperger to commit fraud.  As you can see, their premise is that there is no evidence of fraud, so any action on Trump's part to claim victory is itself fraud.  Theirs is a deliberate example of circular logic, where their premise and conclusion are the same thing.

Washington Post: "The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking 'a big risk.'"

CNN: "In excerpts of the stunning one-hour phone call Saturday, Trump lambasted his fellow Republican for refusing to falsely say that he won the election in Georgia and repeatedly touted baseless claims of election fraud."

Here's what really happened on the phone call.  First, Trump wasn't the only person on the phone.  Also present were Mark Meadows, Mike Pompeo, and multiple attorneys.  There isn't the slightest chance that they would have allowed Trump to beg Raffensperger for illegal votes or to threaten him.

Second, contrary to what the media implied, Trump was not operating off the premise that he lost Georgia.  If that had been the case, it would indeed have been wrong for Trump to beg for Raffensperger to "find" votes for him.

Instead, Trump was operating from the assertion that he won Georgia.  He opened the call with a strong recitation of the facts showing massive fraud on Raffensperger's watch.  According to Trump's evidence, he didn't lose by 11,780 votes; he won by well over 300,000 votes, including votes for Trump that disappeared and illegal votes for Biden.  Here are some of Trump's statements in that regard:

"I think it's pretty clear that we won.  We won very substantially in Georgia."

"We have ... anywhere from 250–300,000 ballots were dropped mysteriously into the rolls."

"We think that if you check the signatures — a real check of the signatures going back in Fulton County you'll find at least a couple of hundred thousand of forged signatures. ..."

"[I]n the 50s of thousands ... that's people that went to vote and they were told they can't vote because they've already been voted for."

"It's 4,502 who voted but they weren't on the voter registration roll which they had to be. ..."

"You had 18,325 vacant address voters.  The address was vacant and they're not allowed to be counted."

Trump alluded to the faked water main break that allowed Fulton County election workers to count votes for hours after having sent observers home.  He noted that the video of that after-hours voting indicated that at "the minimum it was 18,000 ballots, all for Biden."

Trump pointed to 4,925 illegal out-of-state voters, 2,326 absentee ballots from vacant addresses, 5,000 dead people voting, and improperly handled drop boxes.  And he brought up the allegations that Georgia is shredding evidence as fast as it can.

The bottom line, as Trump accurately said, is that these infractions were "many, many times the 11,779 margin [sic] that they said we lost by."

Trump hammered over and over that he won the state.  No matter how you look at it, he said he won, and he's got the evidence to prove it.

At this point, Mark Meadows stated what Trump's team wanted — and it wasn't to fake votes for Trump.  It was, instead, an honest investigation: "What I'm hopeful for is there some way that we can ... find some kind of agreement to look at this a little bit more fully."  Thus, Meadows sought an agreement "that we can at least have a discussion to look at some of these allegations to find a path forward that's less litigious."

Raffensperger pushed back, saying he'd already had to deal with lawsuits (ignoring that the courts refused to hear evidence).  He also huffed that "we gave our state Senate about one and a half hours of our time going through the election issue by issue and then on the state House, the government affairs committee, we gave them about two and a half hours of our time, going back point by point on all the issues of contention.  And then just a few days ago we met with our U.S. congressmen, Republican congressmen, and we gave them about two hours of our time talking about this past election."

Did you get that?  The biggest election fraud claim in American history, the president on the phone, massive amounts of evidence, and Raffensperger whines that he's already given up six and a half hours of his time to the issue.

Trump again chimes in to say, "We won the state."  In response to Raffensperger's complaint that he sacrificed six and a half hours to the matter, Trump suggests that Raffensperger does not need to invest massive time in investigating all 300,000-plus problematic votes.  He just needs to investigate 11,779 to give Trump his rightful victory.  For, as Trump says, "Because, what's the difference between winning the election by two votes and winning it by half a million votes?  I think I probably did win it by half a million."

When Raffensberger pushes back again, saying his office disproved the cemetery vote contention, Cleta Mitchell, a Trump attorney, makes an important point: Georgia has been withholding records from the White House.

There's more in the conversation (much more, including a debate about the video showing Ruby Freeman repeatedly scanning the same ballots), but you get the gist.  Trump won.  A lazy, entitled, arrogant, and corrupt Raffensperger won't work with the White House to look for fraud (or prove the absence of fraud).  And the corrupt, dissolute, dishonest American media, unless brought to heel, will be the downfall of our constitutional republic. FREEDOM OF THE PRESS IS CONDITIONAL;

The Kafkaesque Imprisonment of Julian Assange Exposes U.S. Myths About Freedom and Tyranny

The real measure of how free is a society is not how its mainstream, well-behaved ruling class servants are treated, but the fate of its actual dissidents.

Persecution is not typically doled out to those who recite mainstream pieties, or refrain from posing meaningful threats to those who wield institutional power, or obediently stay within the lines of permissible speech and activism imposed by the ruling class.

Those who render themselves acquiescent and harmless that way will — in every society, including the most repressive — usually be free of reprisals. They will not be censored or jailed. They will be permitted to live their lives largely unmolested by authorities, while many will be well-rewarded for this servitude. Such individuals will see themselves as free because, in a sense, they are: they are free to submit, conform and acquiesce. And if they do so, they will not even realize, or at least not care, and may even regard as justifiable, that those who refuse this Orwellian bargain they have embraced (“freedom” in exchange for submission) are crushed with unlimited force.

Those who do not seek to meaningfully dissent or subvert power will usually deny — because they do not perceive — that such dissent and subversion are, in fact, rigorously prohibited. They will continue to believe blissfully that the society in which they live guarantees core civic freedoms — of speech, of press, of assembly, of due process — because they have rendered their own speech and activism, if it exists at all, so innocuous that nobody with the capacity to do so would bother to try to curtail it. The observation apocryphally attributed to socialist activist Rosa Luxemburg, imprisoned for her opposition to German involvement in World War I and then summarily executed by the state, expresses it best: “Those who do not move, do not notice their chains.”

The metric to determine whether a society is free is not how its orthodoxy-spouting, well-behaved, deferential-to-authority citizens are treated. Such people are treated well, or at least usually left alone, by every sovereign and every power center in every era, all over the world.

You will not feel the sting of Silicon Valley or other institutional censorship as long as you affirm the latest COVID pronouncements of the World Health Organization and Dr. Anthony Fauci (even as those decrees contradict the ones they issued only a few months earlier), but you will if you question, refute or deviate from them. You will not have your Facebook page deleted if you defend Israeli occupation of Palestine but will be banished from that platform if you live in the West Bank and Gaza and urge resistance to Israeli occupying troops. If you call Trump an orange fascist clown, you can stay on YouTube for eternity, but not if you defend his most controversial policies and claims. You can vocally insist that the 2000, 2004 and 2016 U.S. presidential elections were all stolen without the slightest concern of being banned, but the same claims about the 2020 election will result in the summary denial of your ability to use online tech monopolies to be heard.

Censorship, like most repression, is reserved for those who dissent from majoritarian orthodoxies, not for those who express views comfortably within the mainstream. Establishment Democrats and Republicans — adherents to the prevailing neoliberal order — have no need for free speech protections since nobody with power would care enough to silence them. It is only the disaffected, those who reside on the fringes and the margins, who need those rights. And those are precisely the people who, by definition, are most often denied them.

Similarly: powerful officials in Washington can illegally leak the most sensitive government secrets and will suffer no punishment, or will get the lightest tap on the wrist, provided their aim is to advance mainstream narratives. (read more)

Judge rules ‘risk of suicide’ is too great to extradite the Wikileaks founder

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange will not be extradited to the US after a shock ruling in his favour at London’s Old Bailey courthouse.

District Judge Vanessa Baraitser ruled that extradition at this point to the US to face 18 counts of espionage would worsen Assange’s already extremely fragile mental state.

“Faced with conditions of near total isolation … I am satisfied that the procedures (outline by U.S. authorities) will not prevent Mr. Assange from finding a way to commit suicide,” she said. (read more)

A Printer in Michigan Printed Tens of Thousands of Excess Pennsylvania Ballots Which Were Shipped to New York and Fraudulently Filled Out Before Being Delivered to Pennsylvania

More details regarding the truckloads of ballots shipped from New York to Pennsylvania has been uncovered.  These ballots were printed in Michigan and sent to New York.

Patrick Byrne released breaking information this morning on fraudulent ballots in Michigan:

Byrne notes that a printer in Michigan printed ballots for Pennsylvania.  This printer then prints additional ballots that somehow make it to Bethpage, New York.  In New York, ballots are processed for Joe Biden by individuals who are not the people identified in the ballots.  This was a massive election fraud enterprise:

There, a boiler room of folks fill in “Biden” (often without even voting
downballot). The ballots (which are forensically legitimate, given that
they come from the same print shop as the good ballots, ) then get
trucked into Pennsylvania and mailed. Hundreds of thousands.

Stopping the Democrats

The presidential election, although the most important, was only 1 of 469 elections that happened on November 3, 2020.

There were 435 House of Representative elections and 33 Senate elections. There seemed to be only fraud and inaccuracies within normal variation for the lion’s share of those 468 elections. Attempting to fix elections at that level would be close to impossible. The legitimate results of those down-ballot elections reflect the true status of the fraudulent results on the presidential level.

It was certainly easier to corrupt a single presidential election versus the other 468 elections given the ability to focus, plan, and execute the fraud given many months, the Coronavirus enabling event, and focusing only on swing states to be successful. Democrats never fail to take advantage of a crisis and they did so with Coronavirus, mail-in voting, and software corruption.

Will the Democrats be able to steal the two Georgia runoffs? Possibly. They will be able to focus on those two elections alone and attempt more fraud and corruption – but only due to their ability to focus on those elections and nothing else, much as they did on the 2020 presidential election.

Looking at the 2020 468 election results other than the presidential election and their possible implications, we find:
•House of Representatives -- likely 14 or 15 Republican pickups reducing the Democrat advantage from 37 seats down to 11 or 9 seats allowing only 4-5 Democrat legislative defections.
•Senate -- Democrats picking up between 1 and 3 seats and at best with only a vice-presidential tie breaker allowing no defections on any potential legislation.

Of course, Republican unity is always a wild card.

... Getting back to election fraud, and the presidential election being the prominent risk factor, there exists a four-year window to have conditions in place to get that fraud and inaccuracy back to nominal levels. So, who carries the responsibility for this?

Enough information seems to exist about irregularities, software problems, mail-in voting problems, and Identification verification problems for the right people to do the right things to get this under control.

But who are those right people?

... The responsibility over the next 4 years predominately lies with state legislatures.

At present Republicans hold both House and Senate majorities in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

That makes 31 states that have no excuse for fraud prone election procedures that are the responsibility of those Republican legislatures, including the key swing states of Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Those legislatures have four years to get their act together and enact proper voting procedures, practices, and tools that will avoid a 2024 repeat of the 2020 election fraud at the presidential level. It is not on the Supreme Court or the U.S. House, or the U.S. Senate -- it is on the state legislatures and they are in the position to take care of business. It will take Republicans transforming from munchkins to something larger.

An Insider's View of Pennsylvania and the Battle for Our Republic

On December 28, 2020, a group of state lawmakers, having performed an extensive analysis of election data, revealed troubling discrepancies between the numbers of total votes counted and total number of voters who voted in the 2020 general election.  These findings were in addition to prior concerns regarding actions by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the secretary of state, and others impacting the conduct of the election.

A comparison of official county election results to the total number of voters who voted on November 3, 2020, as recorded by the Department of State (DoS), shows that 6,962,607 total ballots were reported as being cast, while the DoS's Statewide Uniform Registry of Electors (SURE) system records indicate that just 6,760,230 total voters actually voted.  Among the 6,962,607 total ballots cast, 6,931,060 total votes were counted in the presidential race, including all three candidates on the ballot and write-in candidates.

The difference of 202,377 more votes cast than voters voting, together with the 31,547 over- and under-votes in the presidential race, adds up to an alarming discrepancy of 170,830 votes, which is more than twice the reported statewide difference between the two major candidates for president of the United States.  On November 24, 2020, Secretary Boockvar certified election results, and Governor Wolf issued a certificate of ascertainment of presidential electors, certifying that Vice President Joe Biden received 80,555 more votes than President Donald Trump.

The Department of State's response and rebuttal were swift and condescending toward the 17 legislators issuing the press release.  The Department of State acknowledged the disparity in its published data, explaining that the SURE system is not the source of the information utilized to certify the election.

While we appreciate the secretary's attempt to explain the discrepancy, the reality is that this discrepancy is yet another example of the failings of Pennsylvania's November 3 election.  Our focus remains on ensuring the sanctity of the election process in the commonwealth.  We would have expected the secretary to align with our focus and respond in full transparency instead of responding with contempt, as has been the pattern with the secretary and her agency to questioning of their systems.

Unfortunately, the courts have yet to address any of the process control concerns we have presented.  Specifically, our press release pointed out issues at the strategic process control level and at the operational level to include the following.

Strategic level:

We were already concerned with the actions of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Executive branch, and election officials in certain counties compromising and undermining Pennsylvania Election laws by eliminating signature verification, postmarks, and due dates while allowing the proliferation of unsecured drop boxes and the unauthorized fixing, (curing,) of ballots, as well as the questionable treatment of poll watchers, all of which created wholesale opportunities for irregularities in the 2020 presidential election.

Operational level:

However, we are now seeing discrepancies on the retail level raising even more troubling questions regarding irregularities in the election returns. These findings call into question the accuracy of the state's SURE system, consistency in the application of the Pennsylvania Election Code from county to county, and the competency of those charged with oversight of elections in our Commonwealth.

"These numbers just don't add up, and the alleged certification of Pennsylvania's presidential election results was absolutely premature, unconfirmed, and in error.

The DoS asserts that the SURE system is not the basis for confirming an election, but in the press release refuting the significance of the voter deficit, the DoS indicated, "But the only way to determine the number of voters who voted in November from the SURE system is through the vote histories.  At this time, there are still a few counties that have not completed uploading their vote histories to the SURE system."

This statement confirms our concern about the data and the process controls.  Any reasonable person would suspect that 6–8 weeks would be sufficient to upload such data.  Further, the absence of such critical data brings into question how any official results could have been certified.

It is important to point out that many of our concerns over the years relating to the DoS's election system have been resisted and dismissed in virtually every respect by the agency.  This history is important to understand, as the most recent Department of the Auditor General (DAG) performance audit of the SURE system reinforces our reasons for our initial review and our conclusions.  Had the DoS cooperated with process reform efforts, perhaps the quandary the Commonwealth is currently in would have been avoided.

According to the DAG report, "DOS' denial of access to critical documents and excessive redaction of documentation resulted in DAG being unable to fully achieve three of the eight audit objectives. ... This sustained refusal to cooperate with our information requests was done without DOS providing any plausible justification for their noncooperation.  Accordingly, DAG was unable to establish with any degree of reasonable assurance that the SURE system is secure and that Pennsylvania voter registration records are complete, accurate, and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and related guidelines."

Additionally, the report indicated:

[W]hile DOS requested this audit, management does not seem to grasp that we cannot properly conclude and satisfy the audit objectives in accordance with generally accepted Government Auditing Standards without obtaining sufficient appropriate evidence, which they refused to provide to us.

The detailed reasons above and our findings, however limited by access denials, are intended to shed light on these troubling findings as well as our own concerns identified in our report.

Just as the DoS refuted and ignored deficiencies reported by the auditor general, the department is again dismissing issues and inconsistencies identified by members of the General Assembly, without providing access to any substantiating information.  Pennsylvanians deserve better.  Our nation deserves better.  The challenges we submitted were the result of findings from the DoS's publicly provided data.  The DoS explanation that the data they provide to the public are not the same data used to certify the elections demonstrates yet another process failure and roadblock for transparency.

Our sole purpose in attempting to resolve these audit findings, and our own conclusions, is to publicly demonstrate that a lawful election should have been conducted such that we would be able to assure every voter in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that his vote counted.  In our attempt to provide a comprehensive understanding of exactly how elections were facilitated throughout the commonwealth, and answer constituent questions, we identified a plethora of process control flaws, internal control weaknesses, and a battery of inconsistencies.  In light of these findings, it is incumbent upon Pennsylvania's secretary of state to explain why the voters should trust the election process that unfolded in Pennsylvania.  If voters are to trust election results, they must trust the election process. Was a COVID-19 Vaccine Developed before the First COVID-19 Case Was Discovered in America?

Regardless of one's political affiliation, it goes without saying that nobody wants to be forced or otherwise deceptively coerced into accepting a vaccine that may eventually cause cancer or some other harm — especially when many, without vaccination, do not even experience symptoms from the targeted virus.  It also goes without saying that many are probably familiar with the idea that corrupt persons seek government positions or use their power and influence as a way to be paid by foreign countries or big corporations.  One recent example is the Bidens' apparent collusions with China and the FBI's apparent cover-up of that information before the 2020 election.

Some commentators have made the good point that physicians do not get paid nearly as much in government or public health jobs as physicians do practicing medicine in non-government positions.  This, the commentators have concluded, may leave government public health employees open to outside influences.

It is not an exaggeration to suggest that COVID-19 vaccines — which currently require two doses — could quickly become trillion-dollar products; every time a "new strain" or "new variant" of SARS-CoV-2 is claimed to be discovered, a new vaccine could (wrongly) be said to be necessary.  Creating the need for such a potential trillion-dollar product could result in several persons being highly compensated.  It is probably wise, then, to "follow the money" and discuss those government officials who are promoting COVID-19 vaccines.  It is preferable to avoid mentioning names, but these are government public health officials who have provided the groundwork for COVID-19 vaccines, and names are required.

For example, in January 2020, one of the first to publicly create COVID-19 panic in America was Dr. Nancy Messonnier — the director of the U.S. federal government's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the CDC.  She uses her position at the CDC to promote vaccines.  Her bio says she is "currently leading the CDC's efforts on COVID-19 vaccine."  (Some probably also know her as the sister of Rod Rosenstein, the former deputy attorney general who participated in the FBI investigation of President Trump and appointed Robert Mueller as special counsel.)

So one of the first people to create COVID-19 fear in America works for the CDC to promote vaccines.  It is also worth mentioning that the CDC's apparent official stance is indeed to promote COVID-19 vaccines.  Of course, COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use in the U.S. are not legally approved for marketing/advertising in the U.S.; wrongly or misleadingly claiming that the unapproved COVID-19 vaccines are "safe and effective" could be illegal labeling or advertising known as "misbranding."  So the CDC cunningly promotes COVID-19 vaccination without mentioning the names of the specific still unapproved vaccines.

It is relevant to mention that the CDC has falsely overstated COVID-19 death counts.  Falsely over-stating COVID-19 death counts could be used as a form of deceptive coercion to scare Americans into getting vaccinated.

Then there is Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), a part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).  Dr. Fauci is one of the most consistent U.S. federal government officials to contribute to the COVID-19 fear.

While he was promoting the COVID-19 fear, though, there were some interesting things going on with Dr. Fauci's NIAID/NIH along with Bill Gates's "Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations" (CEPI — reportedly co-founded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2017) and Moderna, a COVID-19 vaccine–maker recently given emergency use authorization by the FDA.  Moderna does not have any approved products on the market (the COVID-19 vaccine is still unapproved) but set a record for the biggest biotech initial public offering in December of 2018.  In a U.S. government document, Moderna wrote (emphasis added):

In collaboration with the Vaccine Research Center ("VRC") and Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases ("DMID") of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases ("NIAID"), part of the National Institutes of Health ("NIH"), as well as the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations ("CEPI"), we are pursuing the rapid manufacture of a vaccine to address the current 2019-nCoV outbreak. 2019-nCoV [SARS-CoV-2] was first identified in Wuhan, China on January 7, 2020. On January 13, 2020, the NIH and our infectious disease research team finalized the sequence for the 2019-nCoV vaccine and we mobilized toward clinical manufacture. As of February 7, 2020, the first clinical batch, including fill and finishing of vials, is complete. This mRNA vaccine was designed and manufactured in 25 days and is undergoing analytical testing prior to release to the NIH for use in their planned Phase 1 clinical trial in the U.S.

Did you get that?  The virus "2019-nCoV," which would soon be given the scarier (and more likely to lead to draconian lockdowns and vaccines) "SARS-CoV-2" name, was reportedly discovered on January 7, 2020.  By January 13, 2020, Dr. Fauci's NIAID/NIH, Bill Gates's CEPI, and Moderna already had a COVID-19 vaccine finalized.  Toward the beginning of the COVID-19 panic, some commentators were mentioning Bill Gates's odd public appearances, which were used to provoke COVID-19 fear; his co-founded entity's already having co-developed a COVID-19 vaccine by that time may have something to do with that.  While two of the most influential promoters of COVID-19 fear, Dr. Fauci and Bill Gates, were attempting to scare the world, entities closely associated with them already had funded and/or finalized a potentially highly profitable vaccine.

The timeline is also worth mentioning.  There were reportedly only 59 total COVID-19 cases in the world as of January 9, 2020.  So there were reportedly 59 cases of COVID-19 in the whole world, none which were in America, while Moderna, Dr. Fauci's NIAID/NIH, and Bill Gates's CEPI were developing a COVID-19 vaccine.  The first COVID-19 case was reportedly discovered in America on January 21, 2020 — eight days after the COVID-19 vaccine was already developed.

It also cannot be overlooked that Dr. Moncef Mohamed Slaoui, the U.S. federal government's chief adviser for "Operation Warp Speed" (the quick development of COVID-19 vaccines), had (or has) financial interests in Moderna.  He joined Moderna's board of directors in 2017.  And it may or may not be relevant, but Dr. Slaoui was an adviser for a company started in 2018 that creates medicines for China.

Also noteworthy is that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, led by Alex Azar, another person with ties to the pharmaceutical industry that cannot be ignored, granted "liability immunity for activities related to medical countermeasures against COVID-19."  The action is dated March 10, 2020 but made the immunity effective on February 4, 2020 — prior to Moderna's, CEPI's, and the NIAID/NIH's completion of the first batch of COVID-19 vaccine.

Finally worth noting are the stock prices of both COVID-19 vaccine–makers that were given emergency use authorization by the U.S. federal government.  Pfizer's stock price has remained between approximately $27 and $42 per share in 2020.  The stock price of Moderna (which, again, co-developed its COVID-19 vaccine with Dr. Fauci's and the U.S. federal government's NIAID/NIH as well as Bill Gates's CEPI) began 2020 at about $19 per share and went as high as $170 per share in December 2020 — a gain of about 800%.  These are two companies with similar products — but the one not developed in conjunction with the U.S. federal government and Bill Gates's CEPI did not gain even close to as much as the company that co-developed its vaccine with the U.S. federal government's NIAID/NIH and Bill Gates's CEPI.

The above may be a big deal, or it may be inconsequential or coincidence.  Either way, it sure is interesting. (read more)

Biden's Wet Squib

At midnight on New Year’s Eve Joe and Jill Biden posted a message online. The finale of the greeting was to be a pop-up confetti firecracker. It failed in its mission like a wet squib.

A perfect ending to a rotten year in which after riots and a rapidly spreading Chinese virus, we got a highly suspicious election in which the apparent winners were a crook demonstrably suffering from dementia and an unprincipled leftist with no evident qualifications for a job she may have to assume in his stead. Maybe though it’s an omen of things to come.

On January 6 a large demonstration in support of Stop the Steal is scheduled. President Trump says he will produce evidence of a stolen election. If you only get your news from the major media you might think there is no such evidence, but there is.

The President’s counsel, Rudy Giuliani (Sidney Powell  who’s working on hardening election procedures, and Lin Wood who is representing himself, do not directly represent Trump) tweeted:

In a country with a free press, you would know:

1. The Georgia Senate Judiciary Committee issued a report demonstrating the vote was stolen from @realDonaldTrump

2. The vote was unanimous and BIPARTISAN to audit Fulton County’s Absentee ballots.

3. And to de-certify Biden.

Scott Adams (Dilbert's creator) looked at the findings of the Georgia Senate Judiciary Subcommittee that heard the evidence Giuliani presented and agrees that Trump won Georgia and the problems demonstrated in the machine in use at the precinct where they got to examine one evince a far broader steal: “If you can find a problem in one machine you can throw out the whole election.”


Here’s the report that summarizes the testimony presented under oath in person and by affidavit.

Among the findings were these:

•Protocols to ensure the proper chain of custody of ballots “throughout the Election, after the opening of ballots prior to the elections, and during the recounts” were not followed.
•"It was possible or even likely that large numbers of fraudulent ballots were introduced into the pool of ballots that we're counted as voted.”
•There were pristine ballots in the mix “whose origin looked suspicious and which could not be verified “ and poll workers were unable to distinguish “between test ballots and absentee ballots.”
•Poll watchers observed that “ballots were not secured, that seals and security tags were not used,” both during the count and recount process.
•“There was a lack of enforcement of the law, sloppy handling of the ballots by those handling and counting, deliberate covering-up of voting numbers by poll workers, unsafe handling of military ballots and “insecure data such as on laptops and flash drives.”
•Equipment failures were frequent and some ballots would not go through the machines while others were counted more than once.
•Republican observers were deliberately blocked from observing the counting.

Even more troubling than this was the subcommittee’s findings about the Dominion voting machines:

The Subcommittee takes notice of the various publicly reported functions of the machines and heard evidence that the machines can duplicate fraudulent ballots to the point that not even trained personnel can tell the difference between a test ballot and a real ballot. Testimony also suggested that the system responds wirelessly to being reset from an unknown location as happened with the poll books. The Subcommittee also heard that Dominion machines can be programmed with algorithms that reallocate votes between candidates. In addition, the Dominion machines are programmed to count votes using percentages of whole numbers rather than actual votes, which is a feature incompatible with the actual voting process. The Subcommittee learned that the history and control of the company that owns the Dominion voting system is unclear and provides serious implications of foreign interference in the U.S. election.

The details of the testimony upon which the report is based are in the report.

A number of recommendations in the report go to future election procedures. The report also recommends prosecution of those who violate election laws by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the attorney general, “including those conspiring to place fraudulent ballots into the system and the 1,000 persons identified by the Secretary of state who voted twice in the 2020 primaries.” It recommends forensic audits of the ballots and machines by third-party auditors.

From the point of view of the present, the most significant recommendation is this:

The Legislature should carefully consider its obligations under the U.S. Constitution. If a majority of the General Assembly concurs with the findings of this report, the certification of the Election should be rescinded and the General Assembly should act to determine the proper Electors to be certified to the Electoral College in the 2020 presidential race. Since time is of the essence, the Chairman and Senators who concur with this report recommend that the leadership of the General Assembly and the Governor immediately convene to allow further consideration by the entire General Assembly.

Voters have good reason to believe that the numerous incidents of malfeasance found in Georgia were repeated elsewhere. Gateway Pundit summarizes the problems, noting three states alone that counted one million illegitimate votes for Biden: Wisconsin, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court held that more than 200,000 ballots cast (estimated to be heavily for Biden) in the 2020 election were illegitimate.

In Georgia 460,000 absentee ballots, most of which went to Biden, were counted with no compliance with the chain of custody requirements of Georgia law. 

In Pennsylvania there still is a case pending before the Supreme Court. There the state allowed “hundreds of thousands of ballots to be counted even though they were not turned in until after 8 p.m. on election day as state law mandates.”

Regardless of the outcomes in other disputed states, decertifying and refusing to count the votes in these three states alone would hand the election to President Trump. (read more)

“The election of 2020, like the election of 2016, was hard fought and, in many swing states, narrowly decided. The 2020 election, however, featured unprecedented allegations of voter fraud, violations and lax enforcement of election law, and other voting irregularities.

“Voter fraud has posed a persistent challenge in our elections, although its breadth and scope are disputed. By any measure, the allegations of fraud and irregularities in the 2020 election exceed any in our lifetimes.

“And those allegations are not believed just by one individual candidate. Instead, they are widespread.

Reuters/Ipsos polling, tragically, shows that 39% of Americans believe ‘the election was rigged.’ That belief is held by Republicans (67%), Democrats (17%), and Independents (31%).

“Some Members of Congress disagree with that assessment, as do many members of the media.

“But, whether or not our elected officials or journalists believe it, that deep distrust of our democratic processes will not magically disappear. It should concern us all. And it poses an ongoing threat to the legitimacy of any subsequent administrations.

“Ideally, the courts would have heard evidence and resolved these claims of serious election fraud. Twice, the Supreme Court had the opportunity to do so; twice, the Court declined.

“On January 6, it is incumbent on Congress to vote on whether to certify the 2020 election results. That vote is the lone constitutional power remaining to consider and force resolution of the multiple allegations of serious voter fraud.

“At that quadrennial joint session, there is long precedent of Democratic Members of Congress raising objections to presidential election results, as they did in 1969, 2001, 2005, and 2017. And, in both 1969 and 2005, a Democratic Senator joined with a Democratic House Member in forcing votes in both houses on whether to accept the presidential electors being challenged.

“The most direct precedent on this question arose in 1877, following serious allegations of fraud and illegal conduct in the Hayes-Tilden presidential race. Specifically, the elections in three states—Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina—were alleged to have been conducted illegally.

“In 1877, Congress did not ignore those allegations, nor did the media simply dismiss those raising them as radicals trying to undermine democracy. Instead, Congress appointed an Electoral Commission—consisting of five Senators, five House Members, and five Supreme Court Justices—to consider and resolve the disputed returns.

“We should follow that precedent. To wit, Congress should immediately appoint an Electoral Commission, with full investigatory and fact-finding authority, to conduct an emergency 10-day audit of the election returns in the disputed states. Once completed, individual states would evaluate the Commission’s findings and could convene a special legislative session to certify a change in their vote, if needed.

“Accordingly, we intend to vote on January 6 to reject the electors from disputed states as not ‘regularly given’ and ‘lawfully certified’ (the statutory requisite), unless and until that emergency 10-day audit is completed.

“We are not naïve. We fully expect most if not all Democrats, and perhaps more than a few Republicans, to vote otherwise. But support of election integrity should not be a partisan issue. A fair and credible audit—conducted expeditiously and completed well before January 20—would dramatically improve Americans’ faith in our electoral process and would significantly enhance the legitimacy of whoever becomes our next President. We owe that to the People.

“These are matters worthy of the Congress, and entrusted to us to defend. We do not take this action lightly. We are acting not to thwart the democratic process, but rather to protect it. Pence “Welcomes” Elector Challenge by Members of the House and Senate: Spokesman

Vice President Mike Pence “welcomes” the challenge of electors by House and Senate Republicans, according to a statement by his Chief of Staff Marc Short reported Saturday evening by Axios’ Jonathan Swan, who posted the statement to Twitter. Pence will preside over Wednesday’s joint session of Congress to certify the Electoral College vote. Pence successfully fought off a suit this week brought by Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) that sough to nullify part of the 1887 Electoral Count Act so that Pence could exercise authority to accept or reject Electoral College votes rather than the largely procedural role spelled out in the act.

The year Big Tech became the Ministry of Truth

In 2020, social-media firms suppressed protest, scientific debate and corruption allegations against the powerful.

In this year of lockdown, it is not just our movements, social lives and work that have been restricted. Big Tech has also stepped up its efforts at closing down what we can say and read. Two issues in particular have been central to Silicon Valley’s escalating war on wrongthink: the Covid-19 pandemic and the US presidential elections.

It’s hard now to imagine the time when Twitter’s managing director proudly declared his social-media platform to be ‘the free-speech wing of the free-speech party’. Since then, free speech has suffered death by a thousand cuts. Initially, the screws on free expression were tightened under the guise of eliminating ‘hate speech’, but this year, ‘misinformation’ has become the main pretext for censorship.

Since the arrival of the pandemic, the World Health Organisation has warned breathlessly of a parallel threat to health – the ‘infodemic’. It was feared that fake news about the virus could undermine public-health messaging and containment efforts and encourage reckless behaviour.

But who defines what counts as Covid misinformation? Certainly, the first things to be taken offline were obviously nonsense, such as David Icke’s conspiracy theories linking the virus to 5G. But it quickly became clear that misinformation would essentially be defined as anything that contradicts the authorities.

In April, Facebook began removing pages and posts which were used to organise protests against the lockdown. It had actually reached out to various US state governments to ascertain which posts to take down. Any advertised gathering which did not ‘follow the health parameters established by the government’ and was ‘therefore unlawful’ was liable for removal. In essence, this was state censorship outsourced to the private sector.

When asked what constituted misinformation, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki said her platform will remove ‘anything that is medically unsubstantiated’, as well as ‘anything that goes against WHO [World Health Organisation] recommendations’.

But these are two different things entirely. Over the course of the pandemic, the WHO has changed its mind on the utility of lockdown and face masks (the latter due to political lobbying rather than medical evidence). Back in January, it relayed the view of the Chinese authorities that there was ‘no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus’, a statement which, if it came out of a YouTuber’s mouth, would surely be banned as misinformation today.

Under these misinformation rules, YouTube has removed and ‘shadow banned’ lockdown-sceptical journalists, doctors and even former WHO envoys.

When something was medically correct but went against government or WHO guidelines, then social-media platforms sided with the authorities. For instance, an article reporting on a major randomised control trial on the efficacy of masks against Covid, written by Carl Heneghan and Tom Jefferson of Oxford University’s Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine, was declared to be ‘misinformation’ by Facebook. Randomised control trials are generally seen as the gold standard of medical evidence, but apparently not for social-media ‘fact-checkers’.

Social media’s war on misinformation then went into overdrive in the run-up to the presidential election. In May, Twitter started fact-checking the words of President Trump, warning users about his claims that the upcoming election would be rigged against him. This was nonsense, of course, but Twitter’s move represented a worrying and unprecedented intervention into democracy. And things got worse. At the end of July, Twitter started removing some of Trump’s posts entirely for spreading misinformation about the coronavirus.

As the election drew closer, the social-media firms made the terrifying decision to remove and ban stories which were true, but were politically inconvenient. Many had blamed Facebook and Twitter for Trump’s shock win in 2016 – accusing the firms of hosting fake news and failing to spot foreign bots. Neither of these things could actually explain the ballot-box revolt, of course, but the platforms were determined never to be blamed again.

In mid-October, the New York Post published its exposé of Hunter Biden. Emails found on the ‘laptop from hell’, according to the Post, suggested that Biden Jr was able to grant access to his father, Joe Biden, for cash. These were allegations of corruption against one of the presidential candidates. But Silicon Valley quickly mobilised to crush the story.

Facebook’s communications director, Andy Stone, announced that ‘we are reducing its distribution on our platform’ as part of ‘our standard process to reduce the spread of misinformation’. The story was ‘eligible to be fact-checked’, but there has been no update from Facebook on it since, despite Hunter now facing a federal criminal investigation.

Twitter went even further to stop the spread. It blocked users from linking to the story and from posting photos from the reports. Users who clicked links that had already been posted were told that, ‘This link has been identified by Twitter or our partners as being potentially harmful’. This message was later updated to say, ‘The link you are trying to access has been identified by Twitter or our partners as being potentially spammy or unsafe’.

The New York Post was even locked out of its Twitter account for a number of weeks, stopping one of America’s oldest newspapers (founded by Alexander Hamilton, no less) from sharing any of its stories on Twitter. When Trump’s press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, tweeted the story from her personal account, she was locked out, too. This is for sharing a story that ‘fact checkers’, try as they might, could not say was false. Many of the allegations were never denied by the Biden team, either.

2020 was the year that the social-media giants truly bared their teeth. Facebook and Twitter stopped being facilitators of debate and discussion, and instead decided what was true or false, supposedly on our behalf. A dangerous development. (read more)

The Lesson of 2020: What’s the Point of Pointing Out the Hypocrisy?

I’ve been on vacation in Mexico for the past two weeks. But that isn’t the reason content from me has been scarcer than normal. Yes, vacations are supposed to be for recharging and taking a break from your routine.

But as I sat down to write this morning the overwhelming sense of futility washed over me. And nothing saps your will to work more than reading through the headlines and noting the complete lack of conscience on display by the media, our political leadership or frankly anyone with half a brain.

We live in a world today where the legislature of one of the most important states in the Union, Pennsylvania, released a report where more than 200,000 votes were counted than were actually cast. And no one in our media seems to think this is news.

Electoral irregularities are real and prevalent in Pennsylvania.
Sadly, despite evidence, our Governor and State Department
Secretary refuse to investigate.

Worse, most people in America can’t even be bothered to care about such things. And if you were to confront them with the evidence there must be some good reason why that ‘just can’t be true.’


The FBI, which couldn’t find any issues with Hunter Biden’s laptop for months nor ever do anything substantial with Anthony Weiner’s laptop in FOUR YEARS somehow solved the case of the Nashville bomber in less than 48 hours conclusively.

And that conclusion was the same as every other major terrorist event in this country’s recent history — a lone crackpot blew himself up to make a half-formed political statement. At least this time they had the good sense to vaguely tie the patsy to the political left versus turn him into a mouth-breathing MAGAtard with a Q-complex.

And somehow no one seems to care. Nor does anyone care about the lack of conclusion about the shooting in Las Vegas a few years back.

Notice the trend? Major stories that are supposed to matter are dropped the moment they get anything close to uncomfortable for those in power who are chosen to remain in power.

I’ve always thought Donald Trump’s biggest flaw was that he was an incurious man, but compared to the so-called journalists of our corporate media Trump is the second coming of Sherlock Holmes for pity’s sake.

There are voter irregularities of a type and kind which demand real coverage, even if it turns out to be easy to cast doubt on them. And yet, after haranguing Americans TO CARE about voter fraud in places like Belarus, Crimea, Venezuela, Iran, Serbia, Georgia we’re supposed to swallow the lie this was the ‘most secure election in this country’s history’ without even a bottle of ketchup?

No matter where you are on the political spectrum, nor who your Twitter spirit guide is, all of these things should disturb you.

And yet, it doesn’t seem to. It is not CNN’s nor Fox’s decision to not report on them because they don’t want to engage in searching out the truth.

The hearings in the Georgia State Senate going on as I write this are hair-raising, painting a picture of corruption so detailed you’d think it was a Mandelbrot set.

Every rabbit hole you go down forks into a deeper one, revealing even more information about how truly corrupt and inhuman our political systems are and yet our media stands there like a thousand monkeys banging away on their iPhone keyboards trying to convince us what they are producing is Shakespeare and not auto-corrected Engrish.


If we’ve reached this level of whitewashing of the news and the truth to this point, I’m having to wonder why it is North Korea is so hated? I’m at a loss to come up with anything more accurate than competitive envy at fiction writing.

Hundreds of millions of people’s lives are being actively destroyed by overzealous governors and heads of state issuing draconian lockdown orders over a virus with multiple vaccines that are less effective than our own immune systems. A compromised WHO and CDC issue conflicting recommendations weekly and Dr. Mengele Fauci openly admits to lying to us.

They all do this without any sense of shame, shedding crocodile tears so unconvincing they could be runner-ups at a Miss America pageant. But we’re supposed to think we’re saved because Congress decided to give us a $600 advance to pay our 2020 income taxes with?

And I haven’t even scratched the surface here. We know why they are doing this — to support to open hostile takeover of what’s left of private capital markets and property in support of the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset.

Yet here I sit watching otherwise reasonable and naturally skeptical people still live within their normalcy bias to refuse the obvious propaganda and blame the victims.

It can’t be this bad right? No conspiracy can be this big? There was fraud but it’s trivial. Y’all are just sore losers and Trump really did lose his base because of his horrific foreign policy. I swear I’ve never been sadder to call myself a libertarian than I am right now.

That is nothing but rationalization to evade the reality of what has happened and what will happen. Because the sad truth is that no matter who you are when confronted with monstrous evil most people’s first reaction is to reject it.

And they do this not because they don’t believe people are capable of it.

No, we reject evil of this magnitude because in order for us to maintain our sense of self-image as rational, caring people admitting its reality implies a responsibility to do something about it.

And stopping evil takes away from “me time.”

The same operation has been done with COVID-19, any and all data associated with it, the death statistics, the miraculous immunity to influenza Americans now seem to have, etc.

And if we are going to just sit back, mask up, accept the $600, put our heads down and “believe all talking heads” then what’s the point in pointing out the hypocrisy of it all?

The new Super-COVID is here and it’s time to believe it all again.

Isn’t that the real lesson of 2020? Don’t fight the crazy just cling to the delusion that a mask isn’t a muzzle, guns can’t protect you and we still live in a society with something approximating rules.

Isn’t that what all of this irreality is for, to desensitize us to their outrageousness? To normalize their grotesquerie? I mean, really, does anyone honestly believe any single word that comes out of Nancy Pelosi’s mouth?

I didn’t think they made masks big enough to contain the Pinocchio nose she has to have at this point. Maybe she’s had to have so much plastic surgery to contain it that it collapsed like Michael Jackson’s and it’s actually now just negative space.

I don’t know anymore.

It would almost be okay going along with all of this nonsense if they were in any way artful about it. If I could, at the very least, appreciate the craft, you know, as a writer and an artist then it would make the double whiskies go down a little easier.

I could almost stomach it if they even put in the least little effort to convince me through something approximating a good performance. I gave up on them trying to convince me with argument ages ago. But a little sincerity to go with the virtue signaling would make the game worth playing.

But they can’t even give us that anymore. That’s how much contempt they have for us.

And it’s easy for them to have that contempt because, frankly, that’s how much contempt we must have for ourselves to go along this perfunctorily towards their dystopia.

Unless 2021 is the year everything changes. Unless 2021 is the year we finally show the barest minimum of self-respect, take off the masks, turn off the screens and get prepared to fight harder than we ever have.

I’ll be here even though, at times, it feels futile. Because it is just that, a feeling. And feelings are as ephemeral and temporary as Anderson Cooper’s dalliances with the truth.

Which, I guess, is as good a lesson to absorb from 2020 as anything else. (read more)

Louisiana Rep-Elect Luke Letlow Actually Died From Heart Attack, Not COVID

Media liars and the fear cultists under their spell have been touting the death of Louisiana GOP Congressman-elect Luke Letlow, which was reported as a death from COVID-19.

However, additional details have come out about Letlow’s death. It turns out he died of a heart attack, not COVID-19. He had been admitted in the hospital due to COVID-19, but ultimately died of a heart attack, which hospital officials cannot connect to the virus. (read more)

Ignore the gaslighting – cancel culture is real

In 2021, let’s put a stop to the malicious vogue for shaming anyone who speaks out of turn.

By now most of us will be familiar with ‘gaslighting’, a term which describes the tactic of contradicting observable reality as a means to undermine someone’s security in their own point of view. The word comes from the 1940 movie, Gaslight, in which a husband convinces his wife that she is going insane by, among other things, dimming the lights and then denying that the house is getting darker when she complains. Social-justice activists are well-known for levelling the charge of ‘gaslighting’ at their opponents, yet it is a strategy that they have themselves perfected. Even their accusations of ‘gaslighting’ are a form of gaslighting, given that we are expected to believe that they are somehow not guilty of the very behaviour they are projecting on to others.

Perhaps the most obvious example of gaslighting is how the identitarian left has created a system of public shaming known as ‘cancel culture’, which its adherents carry out ruthlessly while repeatedly denying its existence. The denial is an extension of the strategy because it enables them to continue with impunity. They insist that they are not ‘cancelling’ anyone, but merely ‘holding the powerful to account’. But when a supermarket employee loses his job for a joke he posted on Facebook, it doesn’t feel much like a valiant blow against plutocracy and the ruling class.

Cancel culture is not, as its proponents claim, aimed at the most powerful in society. It is a method of systematically smearing ordinary members of the public for failing to toe the line. This takes the form of humiliation through online censure, and direct contact with their targets’ employers in order to deprive them of a livelihood. Through social media, irreparable reputational damage can be inflicted, even when there is no secure evidence for the accusations being made. This not only often results in dismissal, but it also impedes future employment prospects.

Denialists often argue that the experience of JK Rowling proves that cancel culture is a myth. After all, she has faced a barrage of online abuse and accusations of transphobia (as well as an internal revolt at the publishing house which produced her last book), and yet her sales are better than ever. But this example inadvertently refutes the claim that cancel culture is merely a means to critique the powerful. It’s probably true that Rowling cannot be cancelled. But less lucrative authors have lost their publishers and agents simply for defending her. That is not to say that harassment aimed at wealthy public figures is in any way justifiable, but rather that cancel culture most commonly impacts on ordinary people who have neither the finances nor the influence to shield themselves from the depredations of the online mob.

The denialism is exasperating given that instances of cancellation are so frequently in the news (for anyone still in any doubt, this exhaustive thread on Twitter should set you straight). Such stories, however, are just the barest glimpse of a much wider problem. Cancel culture works pre-emptively by fostering a climate in which most people are wary of speaking their minds for fear of misinterpretation. In many cases, this misinterpretation is willful. For instance, in October, students at Cambridge University mobilised to have a porter at Clare College sacked because he had resigned from his seat on the city council in opposition to a motion relating to trans rights. They claimed that his views made them feel ‘unsafe’, a tactic that has now become grimly predictable. Employers are unlikely to take action against workers for a simple difference of opinion, but once an allegation is made that personal safety has been jeopardised they are practically obliged to take action. The elision of words and violence is a linguistic trick of the social-justice left and it has been weaponised with ruthless efficiency.

Although cancellations are often orchestrated deliberately by groups of activists, its danger lies in a broader attitudinal shift. In the past, when someone misspoke at work or unintentionally caused offence, a colleague might have spoken to the individual concerned in private in order to resolve the issue. Nowadays, there is a tendency to shame the person on social media – perhaps with a screenshot of an offending email – in order to initiate a pile-on. This is precisely what happened to William Sitwell, who resigned from his post as editor of Waitrose Food magazine, after a joke he made in a private email was posted online. Rather than inform him directly that he had caused offence, and offer to discuss the matter in person, the recipient instead decided to expose his behaviour to the world. This kind of incident, now sadly familiar, shows how pervasive the impulse to ‘cancel’ has become.

There are few of us who do not know people who have lost work, been disciplined or been passed over for promotion on the grounds of relatively innocuous remarks they have made in a private capacity. Even towards the end of my former career as a teacher, many of my colleagues had given up on making jokes in the classroom because they understood that deliberate misconstructions of their words could be used against them by pupils or parents with a personal grudge. The result was an enervated and less stimulating learning environment, and all it took was a few unscrupulous pupils to make disingenuous complaints to ruin it for the rest of them. This is now an accepted feature of all modern workplaces, only it is adults who are generating these precarious conditions. When people are expected to behave like robots, who will never misspeak or inadvertently cause offence, the business of living is reduced to drudgery.

We need to challenge this atmosphere of conformity by reasserting the values of basic human empathy and resisting unreasonable demands for moral infallibility. Those examples of cancel culture that make the headlines are often widely discussed precisely because so many people recognise that cancellation could happen to any of us at any time. There is nothing healthy about a society that no longer believes in redemption, in which a substantial proportion of the population chooses to self-censor rather than risk facing reprisals for the crime of thinking freely. Cancel culture is a malicious and inhumane trend that perversely elevates the instinct for retribution above the virtues of forgiveness and compassion. We can only hope that in 2021 we might be able to reverse this trend. (read more)

Thatcher was completely right about the Euro

It was a ‘rush of blood to the head’. Its central bank would prove to be hopelessly ineffective. And cultural differences would remain too deeply ingrained for an internal market to ever work as it should. We learned this week from papers released in Dublin that Mrs Thatcher was completely damning about the idea of a single currency for the European Union. Looked at with the benefit of 30 years of hindsight, however, it is clear that the most remarkable point about her views is not just how intransigent she was but that she was completely right. The Euro has been a comprehensive failure, just as she said it would be.

Rewind three decades to the fading months of the Thatcher premiership and she was facing what turned out to be terminal trouble over her views on Europe. The Irish government has just released transcripts of talks between the British Prime Minister and the Irish Taoiseach Charles Haughey, who, it later turned out, had amassed huge sums of money in offshore bank accounts (a surprisingly common pastime among enthusiasts for EU integration) and had to pay millions in settlement of taxes. The EU’s then-President, France’s Jacques Delors, was pushing a plan for a single European currency, and winning more and more support for it. Mrs Thatcher, alone among EU leaders at the time, was horrified.

It was she told Haughey a ‘rush of blood to the head’ by Delors. As well as arguing that the powers of unelected Commissioners needed to be curbed she insisted that that a common currency could never work. She was not right on all the details. For Mrs Thatcher, the real risk was that it would be inflationary, when in fact it has turned out to be deflationary instead (although in fairness she was scarred by the raging price rises she inherited on taking office in 1979, and of course inflation and deflation are equally damaging). But she was completely accurate in forecasting that its central bank would not be able to manage monetary policy for such a large region, that economies would remain too different to synchronise their business cycles, and that the sacrifice of sovereignty would be immense. ‘We are not going to have a single currency,’ she told the Irish premier. She was wrong about that. The Euro was launched anyway, a decade later, although the British secured an opt-out, and the Swedes somehow managed to never quite get around to joining.

Since the Euro was adopted, it has left a trail of economic catastrophes in its wake. (read more)

Van Tam’s Bingo Slip

On 28 December, the UK’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Professor Van Tam, joined the Prime Minister for one of his now semi-regular Covid press conferences. According to Breitbart News, at one point, “The top doctor said people should not think, ‘after the second dose of your vaccine, it’s okay to behave with wild abandon and go off to the bingo halls and whatever you like and so forth’.”

Bingo halls. What a wonderful sliver of rhetorical spite. By this rhetoric doth the activist behind the ostensibly objective scientific façade reveal himself. The condescension for the working-class, Brexit voting scum couldn’t be any clearer, could it? Bingo halls. A place-holding metonym drawn from the realm of fish and chips, pubs, boozing, council estates, seaside holidays, nail bars, self-employment. All that toxic masculinity, all those “Karens.” Yuck.

Some of what’s happening with lockdown now is, to me at least, usefully considered as a visceral, psychological reaction to the lack of control these people were able to wield when it came to Brexit. Sounds over the top, doesn’t it? Until you peruse their Twitter pages. These are not happy people. There’s anger, but, perhaps most importantly, there’s an unmistakeable sense of anxiety too. “Tory Scum” got in the way of Corbyn’s utopian society; Trump got in the way of corporate friendly (sorry, I mean “migrant friendly”) global capitalism; Brexit got in the way of their beloved European research networks and funding opportunities.

Lack of control is arguably the root cause of a psychological dysfunctionality like anxiety. For four years they’ve had to live as part of a society that was doing something they didn’t like and that they couldn’t control. They’ve never forgiven the “Bingo Hall” povs for that. It makes them anxious. And what do anxious people really want most of all? Control.

But here’s the thing, because, when you think about it, what is anxiety? It’s simply a location on a wider psychological spectrum that has “desire for minimal control” at one end (e.g. the figure of the hedonist), and “desire for high levels of control” at the other (e.g. the figure of the neurotic). Generalised anxiety is towards the latter end, the right-hand end, of this spectrum. Some anxious people can of course get by in life simply by establishing minimal types of control over their own local environment (their house, their living room, their routines, etc). Some need to manage and regulate the behaviours of others too. Beyond that, and a little further along the spectrum, some need to control everything and everyone around them. And, as we move across towards the very extreme right-hand end of this spectrum of control, we get to sadism; that is, the need to completely control others and, further, to dole out harsh punishment or humiliation to those who can’t be controlled. Have some of our scientific bureaucrats started to slide out towards this end of the spectrum? Is it the peculiar constitutional and political positioning of SAGE – ostensibly just “advisory,” but, thanks to the power of media-relations and clandestine leaking, also a de facto executive body – that has allowed them to do so?

Put another way, is what’s happening now with our never-ending lockdown the biomedical equivalent of an occupying army sadistically razing a village that’s been found to have been aiding and abetting the resistance? It makes me wonder. After all, those villages aren’t destroyed solely because of psychopathic anger; there’s also the functional need to reassert control over what hitherto hadn’t been controlled adequately. It isn’t just “we will hurt you for your disobedience,” (punishment response) but also, and at the same time, “never again will we not know what you’re doing behind our backs” (reassertion of control response). It’s this combination that creates the peculiar phenomenon we term “sadism.”

I’m not a psychologist, but I’m struggling for psychological answers, because I don’t think what’s happening is analysable in any strictly political, social or economic way. J.G. Ballard is probably the greatest sociologist of lockdown, because he saw more clearly than most that it wouldn’t be the violence of the Marxian working-classes, but rather, the neuroses of the well-paid and cosseted middle classes who would in the end destroy western, liberal, capitalist societies. So when people like Van Tam let slip these odd little comments, I feel I’m more right than I am wrong. It’s also the type of analysis that would shed a little more light on Professor Ferguson’s otherwise curious “getting away with instigating lockdown” comment from his recent interview with The Times. Getting away with … well, what, precisely? Revenge? The reassertion of technocratic control over Parliamentary unpredictability? I ask simply because it isn’t a socially recognisable thing for someone to remark that they’re “getting away” with keeping people safe, or that they’re “getting away with” saving lives. Okay, maybe he meant, “getting away” with doing what’s right in order to keep the povvy Bingo players alive. But if that is indeed what he meant, then what would that statement imply? That he and his colleagues have been hoping to find an opportunity for reasserting technocratic control over the great unwashed and that they’d finally found one… which then leads us back to my psychological analysis of their motivations.

I’m not saying that they know at any literal, conscious level that this is what they’re doing. I’m sure they feel they’re acting for the best of reasons. In that sense, they’re no different to the rest of us, are they? Most social actions require most of us, most of the time, to lie to ourselves: e.g. “I’m happy at work!” “I cheated on my wife because she wasn’t making me happy, so, really, all of this is her fault!” “Money doesn’t buy happiness!” etc., etc. But at a social psychological level, somewhere between the unknowable unconscious and the rationality of the cerebellum, I wouldn’t be surprised if a literally “sadistic” need for control now drives people like Van Tam and Ferguson; a desire to re-establish control, and to do so overtly enough that he and his colleagues can convince themselves that, after four years in the wilderness, they finally have re-established control. The rise and fall of Netflix

In 2010, Jeff Bewkes, then CEO of Time Warner, was asked if he thought Netflix had any chance of taking over Hollywood. His sarcastic answer deserves to go down as one of the all-time dumb predictions. Bewkes (like the dude who wrote the internal Western Union memo that said telephones were a waste of time) was not taking Netflix seriously: ‘Is the Albanian army going to take over the world?’

A decade later, Netflix is not Albania. It’s imperial Spain during el Siglo de Oro. Massive, relentlessly mercantile and ruthlessly acquisitive, Netflix has rippled over the world to become one of the largest media businesses ever known. Count the hundreds of millions of subscribers, or the billion-dollar content deals. The old Hollywood system, the studios, the cinema chains — an entire infrastructure of production — has been torched and replaced by Netflix’s subscription-based streaming model. Its major competitors are all imitators: Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV, HBO Max and Amazon Prime Video.

The ‘extinction of old forms’, Darwin wrote in 1859, ‘is the almost inevitable consequence of the production of new forms.’ The old moguls were outflanked, outfought, outbought. Now they’re on their way out or being assimilated by Netflix entirely. The earliest premonitions of streaming date back to the 1920s, but streaming video from a seemingly endless library content was a new form. In the public mind that form belonged to Netflix. The public wallet opened. The binge-watch was born.

Thanks to whoever ate that pangolin in Wuhan in 2019, 2020 seems to be the year that cemented Netflix’s triumph. The pandemic saw 15 million new subscribers, and Netflix’s stock soared. Mass unemployment and all the other horsemen of the apocalypse were galloping out of the paddock. Huddled anxiously indoors, the masses streamed Sex Education. Europeans binge-watched so ferociously in March that the continent’s internet threatened to collapse. Our pandemic nightmare was a dream come true for Netflix founder Reed Hastings. Perhaps only Xi Jinping had a better Covid-19.

Until August. Late that month, Netflix’s promotional team tweeted out a teaser for a très French film called Cuties, which is a fair translation of its French title, Mignonnes. Amy is a Senegalese immigrant, living in a crumbling Parisian project with her mother (a devout Muslim) and two brothers. She is bored, lonely and waiting with the rest of her family for her father to arrive from Senegal. She befriends her boisterous, modern neighbour Angelica and slowly, dance step by dance step, becomes a part of Angelica’s hip-hop crew, the Cuties. Amy’s mother is appalled; Amy feels liberated as she twerks with her new pals on stage at a dance competition.

The director, Maïmouna Doucouré, doesn’t flinch — and the girls are 11-year-olds. The original French poster showed them, wide-shot, walking down a cobble-stone street carrying bags of clothes. Netflix made a new poster which showed the girls in tight, glittery outfits. It’s often been said in the past four years that while Donald Trump may not be a white supremacist per se, there was no white supremacist who didn’t vote for him. Well, Maïmouna Doucouré’s film was not made for paedophiles, but its execution was so atrocious that there probably wasn’t a paedophile in the world who didn’t enjoy it. After it was far too late, after even 4chan— an online message board not known for decorum or refined taste — had banned sharing images from Cuties, Netflix withdrew the promotional materials. They apologised, then released the film anyway.

Ours is an era seething with underground, folkloric rumblings about sexual misdemeanours. Pizzagate, QAnon, ‘Epstein didn’t kill himself’, #MeToo, Michael Jackson. These theories spread the idea that powerful forces in society are cleaning up after elite paedophile rings. Releasing a high-minded but crudely realised film that sexualises 11-year-olds would have been inadvisable at any time. It was particularly idiotic in the current environment. Heavy criticism of Cuties turned into fury and an indictment before a Texas grand jury.

Netflix’s CEO, Ted Sarandos, not understanding that hatred of Cuties might also reflect hatred of Epstein and an entertainment-industrial complex addicted to sexual imagery, defended the film. This was about censorship, Sarandos said in October. This was a conversation about censorship in America, in the year 2020, said Sarandos, as if he were shielding Salman Rushdie from a fatwa, rather than defending sordid depictions of minors. The film was ‘uniquely’ misunderstood in the United States, he reckoned. His gist was: I am a global CEO. Netflix is a global company. The red-state hicks don’t understand art. He and his enterprise have long ago seceded from parochial concerns like not making films about twerking children. The message was clear: when you’re running an empire, there are always going to be bust-ups with the natives.

The sheer scale and reach of Netflix — 182 million subscribers in 190 countries —meant its choices were bound to take on political significance. What was odd about the Cuties affair was how reluctant the company was to back down. When the government of Singapore demanded the removal of Martin Scorsese’s The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) from the platform last year, it rolled over like a kitten looking for a belly rub. When the Saudi government asked Netflix to withdraw an episode of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj that covered Jamal Khashoggi’s murder, Netflix complied once again. It looked like one rule for the complaints of quasi-dictatorships, another for the complaints of Americans. Reed Hastings’s answer to all this was even less satisfactory than Sarandos’s defense of Cuties. ‘We’re not in the news business,’ he told the New York Times. ‘We’re trying to entertain.’

There was another possibility: Netflix was an entertainment business that manufactured information on the side — just like the New York Times, really. By the late 2010s there was no demilitarised border separating news from entertainment. What else could explain Netflix’s huge selection of socio-political documentaries? There was Get Me Roger Stone (2017) and RBG (2018), Knock Down the House (2019) and The Great Hack (2019) and many more to come, with Barack Obama and Meghan Markle on board.

Though the subject matter of each film differed, the values that suffused them — clipped from the op-ed pages of any centre-left newspaper in the western world — were identical. Here was the hyperliberal reaction of the Trump era, a splenetic mixture of fear and sentimentality. Fear of Russians, Republicans and sinister algorithms. Sentimentality about how minority identity groups were all good liberals, and only the frail shell of Ruth Bader Ginsburg protected America from a new dark age.

Was this entertainment, or was it masochism? If you want to understand the spectacular implosion of liberalism over the past five years — how it became twitchily paranoid, how it abandoned scepticism and tolerance, how it embraced irrationality and identity politics — all you need is a Netflix subscription and the heroic fortitude required to sit through these movies.

This worldview has deep roots within the company. Eleven years ago, a document appeared online called ‘The Netflix Culture Doc’. This was Netflix’s corporate doctrine, conceived in 124 slides by Reed Hastings and his then-HR chief Patty McCord. In Silicon Valley these 124 slides have the same historic significance as the 95 theses Luther nailed to that church door in Wittenberg in 1517. Sheryl Sandberg called it ‘the most important document ever to come out of the Valley’.

What does it say? The slideshow calls for radical ‘freedom and responsibility’ among employees. Rules have names like ‘High Talent Density’ and ‘Maxing Up Candor’. The latter gets rid of ‘normal polite human protocols’, replacing them with a daily ‘Circle of Feedback’ and ‘Live 360 Assessments’, struggle sessions in which employees meet with their colleagues to have their work ripped to shreds.

If Ayn Rand and Chairman Mao had a baby, and that baby grew up to become an HR manager, it would write something like ‘The Netflix Culture Doc’. What are the results? A brutally competitive office culture, firings and breakdowns galore, and a workplace once described as ‘reminiscent of North Korea’. There is a direct line between the paranoia of Netflix’s factual programming and the ‘You’ve got to earn it every year’ environment in which Netflix’s professionals work.

Even as they arduously trudge through this libertarian jungle, the Netflix class has to maintain the fiction that they’re nice cuddly libs. In 2016 employees sent 98 per cent of their donations to Democrats. This rose to 99.6 per cent for the 2018 midterm elections. There was more than a whiff of misplaced guilt about all this. The biggest individual collectors of Netflix cash in 2020 were Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, while Reed Hastings made his largest donations to Pete Buttigieg and Joe Biden.

Even by Valley standards, Netflix was an outlier in terms of the one-sidedness of its politics. The Democrats reciprocated, as they did for giant Wall Street firms and other enormous technology companies, by offering Netflix a reputation-laundering service, a way to cloak its dubious labour practices in an ostensibly compassionate politics. Netflix hired the biggest, starriest creators it could get to perform the same function. Could Netflix really be such a bad place if Barack Obama was on board, producing mind-bendingly dull documentaries about his own wife with the company? Was the ‘Circle of Feedback’ actually a good thing if Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had chosen Netflix as a home over Windsor Castle?

Signing up the Sussexes may end up marking the apogee of the Netflix empire. The Albanian army had taken Hollywood, and now it was kidnapping members of the British royal family. The only problem for Netflix was that it had no idea what to do with its power. Its narrowly cosmopolitan politics had been bleeding into its programming for a long time. Its content was centred on social messaging —racial justice, gender equity, environmental stewardship — that appealed to imaginary do-gooders, not real audiences.

It was telling that the most-watched shows on Netflix — Friends and The Office — were not original content and had been produced in the less politically charged era before Trump. Both shows would soon move to rival streaming services. After the Cuties fiasco, Netflix saw a pyrotechnic 800 per cent spike in canceled subscriptions. Four top executives have left the company since September. Disney+, a rival only a year into its existence, now has 60 million subscribers. Netflix now has so many competitors and there is so much content available that the entire streaming model begins to look like yet another online media bubble. (read more)

Locked-down California runs out of reasons for surprising surge

America's most populous state has become one of the nation's worst epicenters for the coronavirus.

California has had some of the toughest restrictions in the country to combat the coronavirus, from a complete ban on restaurant dining to travel quarantines and indoor gym closures.

It hasn't been enough.

... Critics have questioned the science behind the regional lockdown orders. Public and industry pressure has already convinced state health officials to reopen playgrounds and relax limits on grocery store capacity. A Los Angeles trial court judge also said the county's prohibition on outdoor dining was "arbitrary" and that there was insufficient evidence showing it was a source of virus spread.

“Nationally, there has been a kaleidoscopic application of every imaginable type of lockdown order with California being the most restrictive and inflicting the most devastation on small businesses and the most economically vulnerable service workers. And still, we are none the better as far as COVID is concerned,” California Restaurant Association President and CEO Jot Condie said in a statement. “In fact in L.A. where indoor and outdoor dining are completely shut down, with indoor dining [closed] since July, the virus rages on.” (read more)

Covid “Mutation” Stories Show That The Lockdowns Are Designed To Last Forever

For many months now I have been warning that the design behind the pandemic lockdowns is a perpetual one; meaning, the lockdowns are MEANT to last forever. We can see this in the very commentary of the establishment elites that are pushing for the mandates; their most frequent argument being that the pandemic restrictions are the “new normal”. This assertion is outlined by globalists like Gideon Lichfield of MIT in his article ‘We’re Not Going Back To Normal’. In it he states:
 
“Ultimately, however, I predict that we’ll restore the ability to socialize safely by developing more sophisticated ways to identify who is a disease risk and who isn’t, and discriminating—legally—against those who are.
 
…one can imagine a world in which, to get on a flight, perhaps you’ll have to be signed up to a service that tracks your movements via your phone. The airline wouldn’t be able to see where you’d gone, but it would get an alert if you’d been close to known infected people or disease hot spots. There’d be similar requirements at the entrance to large venues, government buildings, or public transport hubs. There would be temperature scanners everywhere, and your workplace might demand you wear a monitor that tracks your temperature or other vital signs. Where nightclubs ask for proof of age, in future they might ask for proof of immunity—an identity card or some kind of digital verification via your phone, showing you’ve already recovered from or been vaccinated against the latest virus strains.”
 
In my article ‘Waves Of Mutilation: Medical Tyranny And The Cashless Society’, I dismantled Lichfield’s arguments and outlined why the controls the establishment is attempting to put in place have been planned far in advance. The so-called “great reset” and “Fourth Industrial Revolution” has been in development since at least 2014 when the terms were first being injected into the mainstream economic media. The ideas of a cashless society, the “sharing economy”, biometric mass surveillance, social credit scores, etc, have all been part of the globalist agenda for decades. The coronavirus is merely a useful crisis for them to exploit as a rationale for the draconian measures they have always wanted.
 
The plan was so predictable that I even pointed out at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak that lockdowns would not end even if a working vaccination was developed because all they have to do is declare that a “new mutation” of the virus has been found which is resistant to existing treatments. Or, they could engineer a whole new virus and release it into the population in order to keep the Reset machine rolling forward.
 
Not surprisingly, just as news hit the wires that the barely tested and highly suspect Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were being released to the public, reports have begun to trickle in of “more infectious” Covid mutations found in places like the UK, India and South Africa.
 
I’m not sure how much more transparent the elites can get.
 
Take the Pfizer vaccine now and you might receive an immunity passport for a few months, and then it will become void with every new mutation of the virus. So, you must then submit to ENDLESS vaccinations, many of then untested and potentially hazardous. As the former VP of Pfizer and other medical professionals have warned, these vaccines are like Russian Roulette and could cause an autoimmune response that leads to sterility or other harmful reactions.
 
The vaccines themselves are a conveniently short lived solution even if they do work. They require multiple doses over the course of a month, and renewed vaccinations are to take place possibly every few months. Basically, it never ends. With the mutations and limited antibodies from the vaccines, the elites could keep the lockdowns and mandates in place for many years to come.
 
The World Health Organization is making it clear that vaccination will not necessarily be considered a solution to viral spread. Meaning, even if you are vaccinated you will still be considered a potential carrier and transmitter of Covid, therefore the lockdowns and mask mandates will not stop. This begs the question – What’s the point of the vaccine?
 
The WHO chief scientist cites the fact that there is not enough evidence to prove that the vaccines prevent transmission. By that logic, we could also argue that there is no evidence that the vaccines are 95% effective, or that they are safe in the slightest.
 
In the meantime, the WHO and our friendly neighborhood fascist Dr. Anthony Fauci are consistently spreading the narrative that the “worst outbreak” is yet to come. Gotta keep that fear train chugging forward on the track to the “Great Reset”, right?
 
For the people that actually believe that the covid crisis will end after mass vaccinations, I’m sorry to say, but you have been duped. Every single element of the establishment response and every public statement they make indicates that they plan to violate your civil liberties for a long time to come. Those promises of relief right around the corner? All lies. The claim that if you go along to get along everything will go back to normal? It’s a con. It is hollow rhetoric designed to make you shut up and submit to medical tyranny for just long enough that it becomes irreversible.

... So far it seems hundreds of millions of people are not that dumb. Surprisingly, even sheriffs and police across the country are openly refusing to enforce mandates and carry out color-of-law punishments against citizens that do not submit. This is really a huge obstacle for the globalists and their reset.
 
The virus has produced a 0.26% IFR (Infection Fatality Ratio) among anyone not in a nursing home with preexisting conditions. Over 40% of Covid deaths are attributed to elderly people that were already suffering from numerous ailments.  Only around 10% of people that end up hospitalized for covid suffer from long term health concerns (more than three months). And, only around 15% of ICU beds are in use across the US, meaning that the claims of over-capacity and full hospitals were nothing more than fear mongering all along.
 
Consider the fact that hundreds of thousands of people already die each year from infectious diseases like the flu and pneumonia and Covid starts to seem far less threatening. It is certainly not an excuse for medical lockdowns and Orwellian contact tracing measures.
 
On top of that, numerous studies are revealing that the lockdowns and the masks are completely ineffective in stopping the spread of the virus. The states and countries with some of the most strictly enforced mandates also tend to be the places with the highest infection spikes.

... Most of us are well aware the virus exists. Some of us have already dealt with it and recovered from it. What we are saying is that the CDC, the WHO and the medical community’s OWN STATISTICS show that Covid is not a threat to more than 99% of the population. If we are to accept their stats as even remotely accurate, then Covid becomes a non-issue for most people.
 
Again, I will ask the question that the mainstream refuses to ask:
 
Why is 99% of the population being told they must sacrifice their jobs, their businesses and their liberties in the name of making less than 1% of the population feel safer? Why not ask the 0.26% of the people under threat from the virus to volunteer to stay home so that the rest of us can get on with normal life? Why are we doing the opposite of what makes the most sense?
 
The answer is that the pandemic response is about dominance, not public health. People are starting to recognize this, and they are about to revolt.

So, the next logical step for the establishment if they really want to institute their reset agenda is to introduce a new threat. Meaning, they need a “mutation” of the virus or a completely new virus in order to create the kind of fear that is required to manipulate the public into going along with further control.
 
Will a new and deadlier virus be found? Maybe. In most cases viruses tend to evolve into less deadly strains of the original. They also tend to balance out their rate of spread versus their rate of mortality. In other words, like any other creature, viruses evolve to survive, and a virus cannot survive if it kills off a majority of its potential hosts. So, they mutate to become more infectious, but invariably less deadly.
 
If a “mutation” does show up on the scene that is more deadly than the current form of Covid-19, then I would be highly suspicious of its origins. What is most likely is that that the elites are in a panic and they are using the mutation narrative as a propaganda tool to illicit terror and conformity in the public. There may be no mutation at all, or the mutations will have no significant bearing on the death rate.

Ironically, by rushing out the vaccines as well as the mutation stories, the elites have sabotaged themselves.

... All the mutation narrative does is further expose what the true agenda is – What the elites want is never-ending lockdowns. There is no program to save lives or flatten the curve. The entire health argument is utter nonsense. Nothing that has been done so far supports the notion that public health is the priority. BIG LIES MATTER I

We’re All in This Together . . .

An easy way to establish the fatuity –  the evil – at the core of what’s going on would be to apply it universally.

Every “lockdown” applies to everyone – including every politician and every government worker. If anyone is forced by decree to stop earning their living then everyone is forced to stop earning their living. The big box stores are shuttered, too.

Aren’t we “all in this together”?

Of course, “we” aren’t. There is the essential class – which issues and enforces the “mandates” – which it is important to constantly repeat are not laws but literally the arbitrary decrees of politicians grown fat, like blood-gorged ticks, with limitless power somehow acquired in the name of Gesund – even though we’re healthy, thanks – and there is the rest of us, deemed non-essential.

We are supposed to just make do; figure out a way to keep a roof over our heads and food in the ‘fridge – without a paycheck. Or a third of one. To pay 100 percent of our mortgages/rent and power bills and so on.

Shutter our businesses; send our employees home to do nothing — while their bills pile up.

The essentials  lecture, finger-point – and enforce. But never miss a paycheck. Which we are forced to pay for.

Their bills do not go unpaid. There is no sacrifice by those demanding it – the usual practice of the coercive sector as distinct from the private sector. The latter can only ask for your business; the former can force you to close it – and then make you pay them for doing it.

How about we all pay?

Them and us – alike.

If they decree we may not work, then they must be “in it” with us, together. No paycheck for us? None for them as well. No forcing us to pay for their paychecks, either. The taxes that pay for them held in abeyance until the cases! the cases! recede.

If, in fact, that is truly what this is all about.

In fact – literally – it’s not.

As should by now be obvious to anyone still capable of rational thought. What conclusions can be drawn from the coercive class declaring itself essential – and us, not? From our being “locked down” – told by them we may not move without their permission, while they are free to move as they like?

Ordered to accept economic death while they continue to feed – off of us?

While we get to watch them ignore their own “mandates”?

The restaurant owner in California (more here) who used his truck prevent an essential government worker from working was trying to make the point – to both the essential government worker and the essential government enforcers who came to make sure the essential government worker could go about his essential work.

It is easy to be unctuous when there is no cost to you – and possibly much to gain.

The essentials who are getting paid – by us – have more than just our money to pay their bills. The have our money to buy our losses. When a non-essential’s home goes into foreclosure or his business is shuttered, someone else is going to acquire the property. It will inevitably be someone with the means to pay for it.

That will be someone who hasn’t been bled white. It will probably be someone essential, who has spent the past year bleeding the non-essentials white.

 Who, having taken everything away from the previous owner will now use the previous owner’s money – transferred via taxes – to own everything that was taken away.

Probably at a fire-sale price, too.

The same process is under way at the corporate level. The Big Box retailers were not locked down – which is why their profits have gone up (skyrocketed up) during the worst year – for us – since 1929. It is not hard to understand why. Wal-Mart and the rest were open while everything not Big Box wasn’t, by “mandate.”

The non-essentials were forced to do business with the essentials. Forced to facilitate the transfer of wealth from local, privately owned stores to massive, shareholder-owned corporations, who sold the same stuff and were not attacked by swarms of Gesundheitspolizei for allowing more than 10 people within their stores at a time.

A simpleton should be able to draw the obvious conclusions.

The essentials want to use the corporations as feed lots are used for cattle. We – the nonessentials – are to be herded onto these feedlots, where we will be obliged to be obliging, else no more “corn” for us. The essentials want to be able to partner with a handful of big corporations who will employ everyone who is still allowed to work and sell everything we’re still allowed to buy.

When there are no alternatives, there are no options.

When you can work for yourself or work for someone who owns the business you work for you are much less under the thrall of a pyramidal hierarchy that mandates things which cannot be appealed – or avoided.

When there is no work except corporate work, the corporations own you. And then the coercive sector controls you . . . via the corporations. Neat, sweet and not petite.

It is all very essential – and has nothing to do with “stopping the spread.” If it did, then everything would be closed, everyone “locked down.”

The Great 2020 Seasonal Flu/Influenza Disappearing Act

According to the WHO, seasonal flu/influenza practically disappeared this year in the southern hemisphere.

“In tropical South America, there were no influenza detections…”

“Globally… influenza activity remained at lower levels than expected for this time of the year.”

Lower means flu practically didn’t show up this year like always before.

Separately, the WHO claimed that “various hygiene (including mask wearing) and physical distancing measures…likely played a role in reducing influenza virus transmission.”

Mask-wearing is ineffective and potentially harmful to health.

Masks are porous. They have to be. Otherwise wearers would suffocate.

Aerosol spores are minuscule. Able to penetrate all masks and concentrate beneath them risks greater harm to wearers than avoiding their use.

Everything ordered or recommended this year for protection did infinitely more harm than good — notably from lost jobs and income during lockdowns and quarantines.

The CDC casually said “(s)easonal influenza activity in the United States remains lower than usual for this time of year.”

It practically disappeared — or did it?

Covid is “seasonal influenza” in disguise — in the US and worldwide.

In its latest weekly reporting period pre-yearend, the CDC said:

“The percentage of respiratory specimens testing positive for influenza at clinical laboratories is” one-10th of 1%.

It’s practically nonexistent.

For the three-month period in the US ending in late December, findings were vitually the same.

There’s almost no seasonal influenza showing up this year because their outbreaks are called covid.

Overall worldwide, seasonal influenza is around 98% lower this year than in earlier flu seasons.

WHO spokesperson Dr. Sylvie Briand recently claimed that “literally there was nearly no flu in the Southern Hemisphere” in 2020, adding:

“We hope that the situation will be the same in the Northern Hemisphere” at end of this flu season.

If the current trend continues as is highly likely, the incidence of seasonal influenza will be minuscule compared to previous years in northern and southern hemispheres.

At the same time in the US nationwide and worldwide, high numbers of covid are reported.

If accurately identified, they’d be called influenza that shows up annually in the US and abroad like clockwork.

It’s unaccompanied by fear-mongering mass hysteria, lockdowns, quarantines, mask-wearing, social distancing, and most important:

No economic collapse occurs that caused the Greatest Main Street Depression in US history this year that’s likely to be protracted to maintain social control and continue transferring unprecedented amounts of wealth from ordinary people to the wealthy.

They’re enjoying a bonanza of riches from what’s going on at the expense of most others.

On December 15, Nature.com noted that “(m)easures meant to tame the coronavirus pandemic are quashing influenza and most other respiratory diseases” — calling what’s going on the “influenza fizzle.”

Claiming “lockdowns stopped flu in its tracks, (outbreaks) plummet(ting) by 98% in the United States” ignored that what’s called covid is seasonal influenza.
