TEXAS FREEZE

Please stand by for more blog posts regarding the Texas Freeze. I've spent the last few days learning about the generation of electricity, distribution of electricity, grid resiliency and the politics of energy. A natural disaster was made worse by legislation, executive orders, bureaucratic
incompetence/inertia and the spectacularly incorrect Utopian ideology that drives the Climate Cult.

THE DEMENTED USURPER

Never before’ has the leader of the free world been ‘so cognitively compromised’

It is clear US President Joe Biden is not up to the task he has been “sworn in to do”, according to Sky News host Cory Bernardi.

“Never before has the leader of the free world been so cognitively compromised,” Mr Bernardi said “

It’s clear to me at the least that US President Joe Biden is struggling with dementia and is clearly not up to the task he’s been sworn in to do.”

Mr Bernardi said it is something which was “evident” during the election campaign, but the “partisan and poisonous” mainstream media chose not to highlight anything which could have “derailed a Biden victory”.

“Even now, after he has been sworn in, many of them are still refusing to speak the truth about Biden’s lack of capacity.”

Joe Biden recently emerged to make his “sanitised” Presidential Town Hall Debut, at which the new president “promptly gave away his teleprompter”.

“The result was nothing short of a disaster … it was littered with total falsehoods,” Mr Bernardi said.

“It’s all rather pathetic, but even usually smart people are blinded by the nonsense put out by the mainstream media. They believe every perceived sin of Donald Trump while they seem intent on canonizing St. Joe.” (read more)

THE PELOSI POLICE LET IT HAPPEN

6 Capitol police officers suspended, 35 under investigation after Capitol riot, spokesperson says

Dozens of Capitol police officers are under investigation in the wake of a Jan. 6 riot in the U.S. Capitol that led to five deaths, and stunned the nation.

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A spokesperson for the U.S. Capitol Police has confirmed to FOX 5 that the Office of Professional Responsibility is investigating the actions of 35 police officers on Jan. 6, the day of the riot at the Capitol, and suspended six officers with pay.

The statement from the department reads:

"Our Office of Professional Responsibility is investigating the actions of 35 police officers from that day. We currently have suspended six of those officers with pay. Acting Chief Yogananda Pittman has directed that any member of her department whose behavior is not in keeping with the Department’s Rules of Conduct will face appropriate discipline."

Viral videos of some Capitol Police officers raise questions about their actions during the riot.

Some officers are seen standing along a doorway almost motionless as people file into the Capitol.

At least two accused rioters have told the FBI a Capitol Police officer told them, "It’s your house now."

Lawmakers have stated that one officer suspended took a selfie with someone and another was seen wearing a MAGA hat.

In a video, that officer wearing the hat asks two men if they can help him get through the crowd to help other officers inside the Capitol.

The officer hands one of the men his megaphone and says, "I’ll follow you." The video was taken by Rico La Starza who says he was visiting D.C. and went to the Capitol and started filming when he saw what was happening.

... Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund and the sergeants-at-arms resigned the day after the incident, which sent shockwaves through the District, and the nation. (read more)

THE SITUATION IN TWO STATES - TEXAS

The Downfall of Texas

The downfall of Texas was swift, they say. It was the wind, a frigid north wind that knocked her down from first world status to third world misery. Even with the power back on, the misery will continue for those whose water pipes froze and burst in unheated homes. The misery will be compounded for those with variable or indexed plans (here or here) with the electric company who owe over $1,000 for a month of electricity.

The misery, however, ended for some of the homeless. We learn they froze to death because there was no room at shelters that were observing COVID precautions and limiting accommodations. Catching the highly survivable corona cold virus would have been better than oblivion, but they weren't given the choice.

The chaos and catastrophes were not all weather-related. Ideology and perverted economics played huge roles.

The over-reliance on wind turbines to generate electricity was news to most Texans. Who knew that Texas generates 25% of its electricity (on windy days) from wind turbines? Who knew that those turbines do not spin on the hottest summer days when the entire region is becalmed under an oppressive dome of high pressure? Who knew that those turbines cannot operate in icy weather? Who knew that generous tax subsidies and below-market interest rates have so skewed the economics of power that intermittent turbine-generated electricity is cheaper (on paper) than reliable thermal sources like coal and natural gas? Who knew that rabid Global Warmists had permanently shut down hundreds of millions to billions of dollars of coal-fired power plants to appease the unscientific and unproven claim by the Climate Cult that CO2 is a dangerous greenhouse gas?

Who will be held responsible?

Don't hold your breath. Heads won't roll. Useless investigations will take place but the guilty will be exonerated and the outcry will be louder after the next outbreak of polar weather.

Yes, there will be more polar weather in previously mild-winter zones. We are several years into a solar minimum / mini Ice Age that could last at least 60 years. I expect winters for the foreseeable future will be successively colder. Look up "Maunder Minimum" to understand the near future.

That's the good news. The sobering news is that the Pleistocene Ice Age began 2.588 million years age when the Inter-American Seaway connecting the Atlantic and the Pacific was cut off when plate tectonics elevated the Isthmus of Panama. The Pleistocene Ice Age will continue until the movements of the Cocos, Nazca and North American plates remove the Isthmus of Panama, restoring equatorial transoceanic circulation.

The bad news is that throughout the Pleistocene Ice Age, glacial periods have lasted 90% of the time and interglacials (like the current Holocene) occupied only 10% of the time. If you believe that the Holocene began after the prolonged cold snap known as the Younger Dryas, then this interglacial has circa 1,500 years left. However, if you date the start of the Holocene to before the reversion to cold conditions, the Younger Dryas, then the next glacial inception is imminent.

The previous glacial period was called Wisconsin (North America), Würm (the Alps), Weichselian (Northern Europe) and Devensian (British Isles). I propose the next glacial period be named the Algorean Glaciation. I would not be opposed if we instead commemorated other bat-shit-crazy Warmists like: Maurice Strong, Klaus Schwab, or Bill Gates.

THE SITUATION IN TWO STATES - ILLINOIS
"We've got the biggest populations losses in the country. We've got the highest taxes in the country; the biggest pension debt by far in the country and home values have been falling. My concern is that this budget doesn't do anything to make those things improve." – Ted Dabrowski on WBBM with Craig Dellimore

An Exceptionally Sad Day For Illinois

Despair, as best as we can tell, is the emotion growing most rapidly in Illinois, and yesterday, February 17, was particularly dispiriting.

Three stories told those who believe Illinois is on the wrong track that the state’s political establishment cannot care less about their concerns. Disdain and even hatred about those concerns prevail.

First was Gov. JB Pritzker’s State of the State and Budget Address. It’s not just that it was more of the same refusal to undertake the major reforms needed to solve the fiscal crisis, which we are writing about separately. It was the extreme rhetoric Pritzker used to attack a political obstacle that doesn’t exist.

That political obstacle, Pritzker said, is Illinois Republicans. Their purposeful destructiveness has undermined the mission of putting Illinois on the right path, Pritzker would have us believe.  “In essence, they eliminated the fire department, burnt down the house, and poured gas on the flames — and now they’re asking why we’re not doing more to prevent fires,” he said. “In a normal year, I might have more patience for their hypocrisy. But this is not a normal year,” he added.

In truth, however, Republicans have been unable to pass or block a single thing of any consequence during the Pritzker Administration because Pritzker’s party has held a supermajority in the General Assembly for years. Nor do Republicans hold even one statewide office. He has faced no political obstacle from those he excoriated.

Second, Illinois finalized the Culturally Responsive Teaching and Leading Standards through a vote by a legislative committee. A firestorm of opposition preceded the vote, expressed by Illinoisans who saw what the standards were plainly designed to accomplish: political indoctrination of kindergarten through high school students, imposing radically divisive critical race theory on classrooms.

Countless parents across the state were livid, but they watched helplessly as the standards were sold to the public through distortion and outright dishonesty, which we wrote about here.

Third, a commission appointed by Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot to identify city statues that perhaps should be removed returned its list of what it called “problematic” statues. The list includes five of Abraham Lincoln and two of George Washington.

One, of a Native American, is titled A Signal of Peace, and was dedicated by an owner who said the monument was intended as a permanent symbol of respect for native people.

Another, directed at antisemitism, bears a quote from a speech George Washington delivered to a Jewish congregation: “The government of United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance, requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens, in giving it on all occasions their effectual support.” A bronze plaque placed by the donor reads: “Symbol of American tolerance and unity and of the cooperation of people of all races and creeds in the building of the United States.”

And in the height of irony, one, shown here, is simply called The Republic.

Most Illinoisans may think it preposterous that those statues could be tagged for possible removal, but Lightfoot is taking her commission’s list seriously.  “This project is a powerful opportunity for us to come together as a city to assess the many monuments and memorials across our neighborhoods and communities — to face our history and what and how we memorialize that history,” Lightfoot said in a statement.

The common element in each of those stories is the extreme contempt that Illinois’ political leadership shows for the most fundamental values held by many Illinoisans. And they make no effort to hide it. They simply don’t care.

It is therefore understandable if despair is the sentiment growing most rapidly in Illinois.

We can only hope that conviction, courage and resilience remain dominant and prevail against a government so estranged from so many of its own people. (read more)

WIND TURBINE WINDBAGS SPEAK WITH FORKED TONGUES II

Texas Spins Into the Wind

An electricity grid that relies on renewables also needs nuclear or coal power.

While millions of Texans remain without power for a third day, the wind industry and its advocates are spinning a fable that gas, coal and nuclear plants—not their frozen turbines—are to blame. PolitiFact proclaims “Natural gas, not wind turbines, main driver of Texas power shortage.” Climate-change conformity is hard for the media to resist, but we don’t mind. So here are the facts to cut through the spin.

Texas energy regulators were already warning of rolling blackouts late last week as temperatures in western Texas plunged into the 20s, causing wind turbines to freeze. Natural gas and coal-fired plants ramped up to cover the wind power shortfall as demand for electricity increased with falling temperatures.

Some readers have questioned our reporting Wednesday ("The Political Making of a Texas Power Outage") that wind’s share of electricity generation in Texas plunged to 8% from 42%. How can that be, they wonder, when the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (Ercot) has reported that it counts on wind to meet only 10% of its winter capacity.

Ercot’s disclosure is slippery. Start with the term “capacity,” which means potential maximum output. This is different than actual power generation. Texas has a total winter capacity of about 83,000 megawatts (MW) including all power sources. Total power demand and generation, however, at their peak are usually only around 57,000 MW. Regulators build slack into the system.

Texas has about 39,000 MW of wind capacity, but winds aren't constant or predictable. Winds this past month have generated between about 600 and 22,500 MW. Regulators don't count on wind to provide much more than 10% or so of the grid;s total capacity since they can't command turbines to increase power like like they can coal and gas plants. WIND TURBINE WINDBAGS SPEAK WITH FORKED TONGUES I
"Opportunists such as AOC and Beto O’Rourke are deliberately politicizing the storm. Neither actually understands energy. Both understand rank dishonesty."

Did Frozen Wind Turbines Impact the Texas Freeze? Here's the Data

Wednesday morning more than 1.3 million electric power customers across Texas remain without power during the coldest winter storm in decades. Gov. Greg Abbott put all of Texas’ 254 counties under a disaster declaration as the state has been hammered with a series of major and historic winter storms. The reasons for the collapse of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) grid are still being debated, and it’s certain that there is more than one cause and more information will come out.

But one of the most contested issues is the role wind generation has played. Prior to the onset of the storm last week, Texas led the nation in wind power generation and depended on the wind turbines in West-Central and Western Texas, along with a smaller number of turbines along the Gulf Coast, for about 25% of its electricity. As wind power has increased, coal-powered generation plants have been taken offline around the state. Texas has abundant coal, oil, and natural gas, and also has nuclear plants near Dallas and near Houston.

Real-time data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration shows that wind power collapsed as the winter storm swept across the state.

(U.S. Energy Information Administration graph in original)

To understand the graph, the very top line, beige, is natural gas power generation. Hydroelectric is the barely perceptible blue line at the bottom. Wind is the green line; coal is brown. Nuclear power is purple.

The graph clearly shows all forms of power generation dipped, with wind power collapsing from Monday to Tuesday before recovering somewhat. Meanwhile, natural gas, coal, and nuclear power generation also dipped but continued generating power. Gas pipelines and a cooling system at the STP nuclear plant outside Houston did suffer the effects of the extreme cold.

This graphic tells a similar story. Wind, again, is in green.

(ERCOT graph in original)

As the graph plainly shows, wind generation choked down but natural gas compensated. Coal and even nuclear power generation dipped. Solar generation has been negligible due to cloud cover and several inches of snow and ice.

The cold has created extreme demand across the state. During most winter storms, the Panhandle, West Texas, and even North Texas around Dallas and above toward Paris may get cold but Central and South Texas could remain well above freezing. This has not happened during the current series of storms. The entire state is in a deep freeze, with snow appearing even on Galveston Island’s beach. Galveston averages lows of about 50 degrees and highs in the mid-60s during a typical February. It’s 37 degrees in Galveston as I write this, well below average. Austin has seen single-digit temperatures at night.

To put all of this into some perspective, the storm that dumped more than six inches of ice and snow on Austin Sunday night would, by itself, have been a historic storm. It dropped more snow on the capital than any other storm since 1949. It was preceded by a major cold snap and has been followed by more extreme cold and then another ice and snow storm Tuesday night. Texas has not suffered a single historic winter storm over the past several days, but a series of them without any warming in between. It’s unlikely to get above freezing in the Austin area until Friday. Points north may stay below freezing for a couple of days after that. This is putting more demand on the grid.

Add to all of this, when Texas gets winter storms it usually doesn’t just get snow. Snow is fairly easy to deal with. Texas also gets ice, which can snap electric lines and break trees and tree branches, which also can fall on and break power lines. A tree in my yard is bent over by ice to the point that it looks like an invisible hand is holding it down. We can expect the ice to kill off millions of trees around the state. The ice layers also render most roads impassable. All of this is very unusual for Texas, but not unprecedented. The winter of 1836 was notably harsh; Santa Anna reportedly encountered deep snow as he marched his army toward San Antonio.

Most winters, Austin will have a few cold days but no snow. Central Texas is known to go entire winters without anyone having to so much as scrape any frost off their car windshield. Austin has had two significant snowstorms in 2021, with the current one being historic by any measure.

Piecing known information together, the wind turbines in Western Texas froze up starting Friday before the icy snowstorm hit, on Sunday night to Monday morning. This destabilized the Texas grid ahead of the worst of the storm. The storm produced the temperatures and precipitation the forecasts expected, but with weakened power generation and demand skyrocketing to heat millions of homes, homes which for the most part are not insulated against the current level of cold temperatures, the grid was set up to suffer mightily as it’s not hardened against extreme cold such as this once-in-a-century storm series is delivering.

Gov. Abbott has ordered a thorough investigation of ERCOT and the Texas Legislature will begin holding hearings next week. Texas’ dependence on wind power generation is likely to come under heavy scrutiny. The fact that many of the ERCOT board live outside Texas is already coming under heavy fire. Texas having its own power grid will likely come under scrutiny as well.

Addendum: I should add that we know production in the Permian decreased very significantly too, with demand surging and all significant power sources dipping — and wind and solar dipping more than the other sources. So Texas experienced a confluence of unusual events that pushed the grid statewide far beyond normal tolerances. Opportunists such as AOC and Beto O’Rourke are deliberately politicizing the storm. Neither actually understands energy. Both understand rank dishonesty. (read more)

IDIOT SAVANT COLLEGE DROPOUT SAYS, MATH IS RACIST

[Keeping black children from learning basic arithmetic, and thus lacking the skills to advance to higher mathematics, is the surest way to keep them in the ghetto or the poverty plantation. Is that what Bill and Melinda want?]

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Spearheading Left-Wing Effort to Declare Math ‘Racist’

The bizarre far-left effort to label math curricula in schools as racist is being funded to the tune of hundreds of millions by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

The link is found on the website homepage of the Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction, the group behind the push to label an entire academic subject as racist. The organization consists of 25 different educational organizations, which share the false belief that basic math practices, such as a student finding the right answer and showing how they did their work, are symbolic of “institutionalized racism.”

The Gates Foundation is the only donor listed on the group’s website. The foundation has given over $140 million to some of the groups included in Pathway’s orbit. One such group, the California-based Education Trust, has received $86 million from the Gates Foundation, with the most recent donation being a $3.6 million grant in June of last year. Another group, Teach Plus, was given over $27 million. And WestEd, an alleged “nonprofit” that targets “systemic barriers” in education, has been given over $35 million by the foundation.

Pathway has released multiple guidebooks and other promotional materials pushing their baseless worldview. Their first such “guidebook,” titled “Dismantling Racism in Mathematics Instructions,” says that math is “used to uphold capitalist, imperialist, and racist views.” The propaganda even lists certain “goals” that are to be achieved every month, such as “authentic” inclusion of minority students in November, and “dismantling power structures in the classroom” in May.

When asked by the Beacon about the questionable donations, the Gates Foundation declined to comment. The website says that its donations to education are aimed at “supporting schools in their work to improve student outcomes” for minority students. (read more)

RUSH DID NOT SPEAK WITH FORKED TONGUE

Democrats Want to End Elections

They resent the whole premise behind elections. Look, they don’t believe they should have to persuade anybody to agree with them. Therefore, they don’t believe in campaigns. They don’t believe in the free, open exchange of ideas. There aren’t any legitimate ideas outside of their own.

They don’t believe in giving legitimacy to anybody who is not already on their side. So if this is who they are psychologically — if they have no interest in persuading people, if they have no interest in acquiring power as a result of massive public support — then who are they? What are they? They want power simply to have it. They don’t want it to derive from the people.

They don’t want it to derive from persuading people that their ideas are the best — and where is all of that codified? All of that thinking, all of that behavior is codified in elections. What are elections about? Elections are about trying to persuade people to support you, to vote for you. Based on what? Well, it could be any number of things.

It could be you’re better looking than the other guy. You’re gonna give away more welfare than the other guy. You’re gonna beat our enemies better than anybody else. Whatever it is, elections are the result of persuading millions of people to support you. They resent having to do that. One reason is they’re a minority. They can’t persuade a majority of people.

They can’t persuade a majority of Americans to support Black Lives Matter. They can’t persuade a majority of Americans to support burning down American cities and private property. They can’t persuade a majority of Americans to go along with their ideas on guns and eliminating free speech. They can’t persuade anybody to agree with that!

Those are things they’re gonna have to force on people, and they are more than willing and eager to force that stuff on you, but they need the power to do it. So they have to go through the motions. The modern-day Democrats have to go through the motions of campaigning, and they have to go through the motions of trying to win the hearts and minds of voters.

But they resent the hell out of it. And in their world, it’s the one thing standing in their way: This need, this requirement to win elections. And I’m just telling you: As soon as they can figure out a way to eliminate elections, they will do it, ’cause they resent the hell out of it. This is… (interruption) Mr. Snerdley, the program observer, just said to me over the IFB.

He said, “I gotta admit something. When I first heard you say that the left and Democrats ultimately want to do away with elections, I thought you were going insane. I thought you were mad. I thought that all of this had finally gotten to you.” Well, that has to be some years ago now when I first advanced the theory. But now you say you can see it?

(interruption) “They’re doing it in front of our faces.” They really are. They are attempting to win elections without broad public support. That’s what they’re trying to do. That’s just another way of phrasing what they’re doing. How do you win elections without broad public support?

You have to cheat. You have to game the system. Most people who consider themselves Americans and practitioners of small-D democracy, believe in the sanctity of elections. They believe in the sanctity of campaigning and convincing a majority of Americans to support them.

That’s where you get your mandate. That’s where you get the power to implement your ideas. And the more people voting for you, the more power you have, the bigger mandate you got. These people resent having to get a mandate. Why should they have to get public approval? Screw these idiots. You, screw you. Why should you have to give them approval? Why should you have a say-so in whether they can do what they want to do or not?

That’s who these people are, and they’re so ticked off they’re burning down your town; they’re burning down your city. They resent the hell out of having to please you. They resent the hell needing your support. They hate it. They’re not interested in your support. They’re not interested in what you think. They’re not interested in your point of view. They don’t care to have to find out who you are and how to persuade you. And they resent the hell out of the fact they have to do it.

And I’m just telling you, the sooner they can figure out how they can get what they want without elections — and the only way they can do it is violence, intimidation, or cheating — they will do it. Right now they are attempting to win elections without winning broad public support. Now, some of you might say, “Rush, I’m not sure that’s right. I see Biden campaigning.” No, you don’t.

How many of you can tell me what the hell the guy’s for? He just denounced everything that the Bernie Sanders agenda’s all about. He just denounced the Green New Deal. He just denounced a bunch of things that he had to promise to support in order to get the nomination. The Democrats have never been up front and honest about what their agenda really is. It’s only in the past couple years of Trump when they’ve been driven insane that they’re being somewhat forthcoming about who they are and what they believe in.

They’re living in the illusion that more and more Americans are starting to agree with them because more and more Americans they think hate Trump. And along the way they’re taking for granted the black vote’s gonna be there, the Hispanic vote, minority vote, women’s vote, taken for granted it’s all gonna be there. But there’s no question that they resent the electoral process. It’s beneath them. I’m speaking psychologically here, folks.

It’s all about knowing who anybody is. And how do I know? I listen to them. I watch ’em. It’s abundantly clear. They do not like America. They do not like the democratic process. They resent it. It’s beneath them. Their ideas, such as they are, are all that matter. And if you don’t agree with them, too bad. You can’t stop ’em. You’re nobody. (read more)

PSHAW, AOC, THE "GREEN" PSYCHIC, SPEAKS WITH FORKED TONGUE

Cortez Slams Texas: That’s What Happens ‘When You Don’t Pursue A Green New Deal’
Critics respond: "This is 'quite literally' false."

On Wednesday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) took a swipe at Texas political leaders, propounding that the suffering Texans are experiencing because of the freezing cold and concomitant power outages could have been addressed by her “Green New Deal.”

Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “The infrastructure failures in Texas are quite literally what happens when you *don’t* pursue a Green New Deal. Weak on sweeping next-gen public infrastructure investments, little focus on equity so communities are left behind, climate deniers in leadership so they don’t long prep for disaster. We need to help people *now.* Long-term we must realize these are the consequences of inaction.”

Critics savaged Ocasio-Cortez’s perspective on what went wrong in Texas and her ideas for solving it. Former Virginia congressman Denver Riggleman fired back: “This is ‘quite literally’ false. There are many factors that contributed to the Texas situation, most evident being a winter storm (things like cold and ice) and lack of preparation. Facts and analysis are the answer, not rhetoric.”

— Erick Erickson (@EWErickson) February 17, 2021

Chuck DeVore from the Texas Public Policy Foundation explained how Texas’ subsidies for green energy may have exacerbated the problem, writing in a Twitter thread:

Two problems in #Texas, one short-term and exacerbated by the long term issue, and one long term. The short term failure came at about 1 AM Monday when #ERCOT should have seen the loads soaring due to plummeting temperatures and arranged for more generation. Texas came very close to having a system-wide outage for the whole state (ERCOT area, about 85% of the state) due to not arranging for more generation. This tripped the grid, knocking some reliable thermal plants (gas and coal) offline.

This was a failure of the grid operator (ERCOT) not the power plants. In the last 4-5 years, Texas lost a net of 3,000 megawatts of thermal out of a total installed capacity 73,000 megawatts today. We lost the thermal power because operators couldn’t see a return on investment due to be undercut by wind and solar which is cheap for two reasons – it’s subsidized and it doesn’t have to pay for the costs of grid reliability by purchasing battery farms or contracting with gas peaker plants to produce power when needed, not when they can.

Meanwhile, Texas has seen a growth of 20,000 megawatts of wind and solar over the same period to 34,000 megawatts of installed capacity (they rarely perform anywhere close to capacity). This subsidized (state and federal) wind and solar have pushed reliable thermal operators out of business or prevented new generation from being built as operators can’t make money off of the market. This reduced the capacity margin – grids must have excess capacity to ensure stability. Texas is experiencing what California has – with California affecting the entire Western Interconnection due to its policies. Blackouts are a feature of the push to have more unreliable renewables on the grid. Must pay $$ for reliable backup w/ renewables.

Texas GOP governor Greg Abbot went after ERCOT, which says of itself, “We manage the flow of electric power to more than 26 million Texas customers — representing 90 percent of the state’s electric load.” ERCOT reported on Tuesday, “ERCOT has directed local utilities to restore 400,000 households in the last hour. Generation availability is improving.”

In an interview with ABC 13 on Tuesday, Abbott called for ERCOT leadership to resign, saying, “This was a total failure by ERCOT. ERCOT stands for Electric Reliability Council of Texas … and they showed that they were not reliable. These are specialists, and government has to rely upon these specialists to be able to deliver in these types of situations.”

Abbott added: “This is something that I declared in advance … this is something that our team had been talking to them about in advance, knowing, in advance, the ultra-cold we were going to be dealing with. … There seemed to be a lack of preparation, and making sure we did have access to back-up power in the event that the power generators were incapable of generating power, but all that aside …. they should be providing greater transparency. They are a public entity. They deserve to tell you, as well as government leaders, exactly what is going and what is not going on and they are not stepping up and providing that level of transparency.” (read more)

[What coal? Austin and San Antonio permanently shut down coal powered electric generation because of Obama's Clean Power Plant mandate and the far-Left kooks on their city councils. Intelligent leaders who cared for the welfare of their citizens would have sued Obama and told him to go back to Mombasa, or at least left those billion-dollar plants as back-ups for emergencies.]

SPOOKS SPEAK WITH FORKED TONGUES
"
As FDR put it bluntly in 1933, this coterie of wealthy forces is the “financial element in the larger centers [that] has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.”

Opening the CIA’s Can of Worms

he CIA and the media are part of the same criminal conspiracy,” wrote Douglas Valentine in his important book, The CIA As Organized Crime.

This is true.  The corporate mainstream media are stenographers for the national security state’s ongoing psychological operations aimed at the American people, just as they have done the same for an international audience.

We have long been subjected to this “information warfare,” whose purpose is to win the hearts and minds of the American people and pacify them into victims of their own complicity, just as it was practiced long ago by the CIA in Vietnam and by The New York Times, CBS, etc. on the American people then and over the years as the American warfare state waged endless wars, coups, false flag operations, and assassinations at home and abroad.

Another way of putting this is to say for all practical purposes when it comes to matters that bear on important foreign and domestic matters, the CIA and the corporate mainstream media cannot be distinguished.

For those who read and study history, it has long been known that the CIA has placed their operatives throughout every agency of the U.S. government, as explained by Fletcher Prouty in The Secret Team; that CIA officers Cord Myer and Frank Wisner operated secret programs to get some of the most vocal exponents of intellectual freedom among intellectuals, journalists, and writers to be their voices for unfreedom and censorship, as explained by Frances Stonor Saunders in The Cultural Cold War and Joel Whitney in Finks, among others; that Cord Myer was especially focused on and successful in “courting the Compatible Left” since right wingers were already in the Agency’s pocket.

All this is documented and not disputed.  It is shocking only to those who don’t do their homework and see what is happening today outside a broad historical context.

With the rise of alternate media and a wide array of dissenting voices on the internet, the establishment felt threatened and went on the defensive. It, therefore, should come as no surprise that those same elite corporate media are now leading the charge for increased censorship and the denial of free speech to those they deem dangerous, whether that involves wars, rigged elections, foreign coups, COVID-19, vaccinations, or the lies of the corporate media themselves.

Having already banned critics from writing in their pages and or talking on their screens, these media giants want to make the quieting of dissenting voices complete.

Just the other day The New York Times had this headline:

Robert Kennedy Jr. Barred From Instagram Over False Virus Claims."

Notice the lack of the word alleged before “false virus claims.”  This is guilt by headline.  It is a perfect piece of propaganda posing as reporting, since it accuses Kennedy, a brilliant and honorable man, of falsity and stupidity, thus justifying Instagram’s ban, and it is an inducement to further censorship of Mr. Kennedy by Facebook, Instagram’s parent company.

That ban should follow soon, as the Times’ reporter Jennifer Jett hopes, since she accusingly writes that RFK, Jr. “makes many of the same baseless claims to more than 300,000 followers” at Facebook. Jett made sure her report also went to msn.com and The Boston Globe.

This is one example of the censorship underway with much, much more to follow.  What was once done under the cover of omission is now done openly and brazenly, cheered on by those who, in an act of bad faith, claim to be upholders of the First Amendment and the importance of free debate in a democracy. We are quickly slipping into an unreal totalitarian social order.

Which brings me to the recent work of Glenn Greenwald and Matt Taibbi, both of whom have strongly and rightly decried this censorship. As I understand their arguments, they go like this.

First, the corporate media have today divided up the territory and speak only to their own audiences in echo chambers: liberal to liberals (read: the “allegedly” liberal Democratic Party), such as The New York Times, NBC, etc., and conservative to conservatives (read” the “allegedly” conservative Donald Trump), such as Fox News, Breitbart, etc

They have abandoned old school journalism that, despite its shortcomings, involved objectivity and the reporting of disparate facts and perspectives, but within limits. Since the digitization of news, their new business models are geared to these separate audiences since they are highly lucrative choices. It’s business-driven since electronic media have replaced paper as advertising revenues have shifted and people’s ability to focus on complicated issues has diminished drastically.

Old school journalism is suffering as a result and thus writers such as Greenwald and Taibbi and Chris Hedges (who interviewed Taibbi and concurs: part one here) have taken their work to the internet to escape such restrictive categories and the accompanying censorship.

Secondly, the great call for censorship is not something the Silicon Valley companies want because they want more people using their media since it means more money for them, but they are being pressured to do it by the traditional old school media, such as The New York Times, who now employ “tattletales and censors,” people who are power-hungry jerks, to sniff out dissenting voices that they can recommend should be banned.

Greenwald says,

“They do it in part for power: to ensure nobody but they can control the flow of information. They do it partly for ideology and out of hubris: the belief that their worldview is so indisputably right that all dissent is inherently dangerous ‘disinformation.’”

Thus, the old school print and television media are not on the same page as Facebook, Twitter, etc. but have opposing agendas.

In short, these shifts and the censorship are about money and power within the media world as the business has been transformed by the digital revolution.

I think this is a half-truth that conceals a larger issue. The censorship is not being driven by power-hungry reporters at the Times or CNN or any media outlet. All these media and their employees are but the outer layer of the onion, the means by which messages are sent and people controlled.

These companies and their employees do what they are told, whether explicitly or implicitly, for they know it is in their financial interest to do so.  If they do not play their part in this twisted and intricate propaganda game, they will suffer. They will be eliminated, as are pesky individuals who dare peel the onion to its core.

For each media company is one part of a large interconnected intelligence apparatus – a system, a complex – whose purpose is power, wealth, and domination for the very few at the expense of the many.  The CIA and media as parts of the same criminal conspiracy.

To argue that the Silicon valley companies do not want to censor but are being pressured by the legacy corporate media does not make sense.  These companies are deeply connected to U.S. intelligence agencies, as are the NY Times, CNN, NBC, etc.  They too are part of what was once called Operation Mockingbird, the CIA’s program to control, use, and infiltrate the media.  Only the most naïve would think that such a program does not exist today.

In Surveillance Valley, investigative reporter Yasha Levine documents how Silicon Valley tech companies like Facebook, Amazon, and Google are tied to the military-industrial-intelligence-media complex in surveillance and censorship; how the Internet was created by the Pentagon; and even how these shadowy players are deeply involved in the so-called privacy movement that developed after Edward Snowden’s revelations.

Like Valentine, and in very detailed ways, Levine shows how the military-industrial-intelligence-digital-media complex is part of the same criminal conspiracy as is the traditional media with their CIA overlords. It is one club.

Many people, however, might find this hard to believe because it bursts so many bubbles, including the one that claims that these tech companies are pressured into censorship by the likes of The New York Times, etc.  The truth is the Internet was a military and intelligence tool from the very beginning and it is not the traditional corporate media that gives it its marching orders.

That being so, it is not the owners of the corporate media or their employees who are the ultimate controllers behind the current vast crackdown on dissent, but the intelligence agencies who control the mainstream media and the Silicon Valley monopolies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.  All these media companies are but the outer layer of the onion, the means by which messages are sent and people controlled.

But for whom do these intelligence agencies work? Not for themselves.

They work for their overlords, the super wealthy people, the banks, financial institutions, and corporations that own the United States and always have. In a simple twist of fate, such super wealthy naturally own the media corporations that are essential to their control of the majority of the world’s wealth through the stories they tell.

It is a symbiotic relationship.

As FDR put it bluntly in 1933, this coterie of wealthy forces is the “financial element in the larger centers [that] has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.” Their wealth and power has increased exponentially since then, and their connected tentacles have further spread to create what is an international deep state that involves such entities as the IMF, the World Bank, the World Economic Forum, those who meet yearly at Davos, etc.

They are the international overlords who are pushing hard to move the world toward a global dictatorship.

As is well known, or should be, the CIA was the creation of Wall St. and serves the interests of the wealthy owners. Peter Dale Scott, in “The State, the Deep State, and the Wall Street Overworld,” says of Allen Dulles, the nefarious longest-running Director of the CIA and Wall St. lawyer for Sullivan and Cromwell:

There seems to be little difference in Allen Dulles’s influence whether he was a Wall Street lawyer or a CIA director.”

It was Dulles, long connected to Rockefeller’s Standard Oil, international corporations, and a friend of Nazi agents and scientists, who was tasked with drawing up proposals for the CIA. He was ably assisted by five Wall St. bankers or investors, including the aforementioned Frank Wisner who later, as a CIA officer, said his “Mighty Wurlitzer” was “capable of playing any propaganda tune he desired.”

This he did by recruiting intellectuals, writers, reporters, labor organizations, and the mainstream corporate media, etc. to propagate the CIA’s messages.

Greenwald, Taibbi, and Hedges are correct up to a point, but they stop short.  Their critique of old school journalism à la Edward Herman’s and Noam Chomsky’s Manufacturing of Consent model, while true as far as it goes, fails to pin the tail on the real donkey.  Like old school journalists who knew implicitly how far they could go, these guys know it too, as if there is an invisible electronic gate that keeps them from wandering into dangerous territory.

The censorship of Robert Kennedy, Jr. is an exemplary case.  His banishment from Instagram and the ridicule the mainstream media have heaped upon him for years is not simply because he raises deeply informed questions about vaccines, Bill Gates, the pharmaceutical companies, etc. His critiques suggest something far more dangerous is afoot: the demise of democracy and the rise of a totalitarian order that involves total surveillance, control, eugenics, etc. by the wealthy led by their intelligence propagandists.

To call him a super spreader of hoaxes and a conspiracy theorist is aimed at not only silencing him on specific medical issues, but to silence his powerful and articulate voice on all issues. To give thoughtful consideration to his deeply informed scientific thinking concerning vaccines, the World Health Organization, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, etc., is to open a can of worms that the powerful want shut tight.

This is because RFK, Jr. is also a severe critic of the enormous power of the CIA and its propaganda that goes back so many decades and was used to cover up the national security state’s assassination of both his father and his uncle.

It is why his wonderful recent book, American Values: Lessons I Learned from My Family, that contains not one word about vaccines, was shunned by mainstream book reviewers; for the picture he paints fiercely indicts the CIA in multiple ways while also indicting the mass media that have been its mouthpieces.

These worms must be kept in the can, just as the power of the international overlords represented by the World Health Organization and the World Economic Forum with its Great Reset must be.  They must be dismissed as crackpot conspiracy theories not worthy of debate or exposure.

Robert Kennedy, Jr., by name and dedication to truth seeking, conjures up his father’s ghost, the last politician who, because of his vast support across racial and class divides, could have united the country and tamed the power of the CIA to control the narrative that has allowed for the plundering of the world and the country for the wealthy overlords.

So they killed him.

There is a reason Noam Chomsky is an exemplar for Hedges, Greenwald, and Taibbi.  He controls the can opener for so many. He has set the parameters for what is considered acceptable to be considered a serious journalist or intellectual.  The assassinations of the Kennedys, 9/11, or a questioning of the official Covid-19 story are not among them, and so they are eschewed.

To denounce censorship, as they have done, is admirable. But now Greenwald, Taibbi, and Hedges need go up to the forbidden gate with the sign that says – “This far and no further” – and jump over it.  That’s where the true stories lie.  That’s when they’ll see the worms squirm. (read more)

THE FATHER OF THE NEW LEFT
"Repressive Tolerance is a towering monument to the possibilities of nonsense in the academic profession. The essay’s 10,000 words, alternately hilarious and breathtaking, are circular thinking and the absence of self-awareness raised to the level of art. "

Marcuse-Anon: Cult of the Pseudo-Intellectual

Reviewing "Repressive Tolerance" and other works by Herbert Marcuse, the quack who became America’s most influential thinker

In my early twenties, I read an expedition was being planned in search of the grave of Genghis Khan. Being young, game, and interested in writing on an adventure, I inquired about tagging along.

I found a professor at Harvard connected with the mission, whom I quizzed about its likelihood of success. The man laughed and eventually revealed the team had little idea where Khan was buried. Some colleagues merely dug up a few stories of Khan’s death that would be enough to take in a sponsor.

I was blown away. How, I asked, could the archaeologists justify that?

“Son,” he laughed. “They’re intellectuals. They can justify anything.”

People complain about QAnon, but truly lasting, impactful lunacy is always exclusive to intellectuals. Everyone else is constrained. You can’t fish on land for long. Same with using a chainsaw for headache relief. An intellectual may freely mistake bullshit for Lincoln logs and spend a lifetime building palaces. Which brings us to Herbert Marcuse.

Often called the “Father of the New Left,” and the inspiration for a generation of furious thought-policing nitwits of the Robin DiAngelo school, Marcuse was a great intellectual. Most Americans have never heard of him — he died in 1979 — but his ideas today are ubiquitous as Edison’s light bulbs. He gave us everything from “Silence Equals Violence” to “Too Much Democracy” to the “Crisis of Misinformation” to In Defense of Looting to the 1619 Project and Antiracist Baby, and from the grave has cheered countless recent news stories, from the firing of Mandalorian actress Gina Carano to the erasure of raw footage of the Capitol riot from YouTube to

Marcuse is so influential that subscribers thought it would be a good idea to review his books, rather than go one-by-one through the seemingly interminable list of homage texts dominating bestseller lists in recent years. When I told a friend, he warned with a chuckle about the author’s “spectacularly bad synthesis,” mimicking the old Reese’s Peanut Butter cup jingle: “You got your Marx in my Freud!” I read One-Dimensional Man, and a painful collection essays that included the famed Bible of post-liberal thinking, Repressive Tolerance. Conclusion number one: a person more hostile to the sensual possibilities of literature would be difficult to imagine. Reading Marcuse is like eating a bowl of thumbtacks. The style is nothing, however, next to the ideas. My God, the ideas!

Berlin-born Herbert Marcuse was drafted into the German army in 1916, but didn’t see action in World War I. Fortune, obviously concerned with his destiny as the arch-priest of anti-thought in 21st century America, placed him in a rearguard unit. Despite the lack of combat experience, he came out of the war disillusioned, among other things by the experience of watching the German socialist opposition support the war.

After studying at the University of Freiburg, he worked for years at a bookstore, then went back to school, studying under famed philosopher Martin Heidegger. He hoped to help solve the urgent question animating many young intellectuals of his time: what form of Marxism would eventually triumph across the civilized world?

Then, just as Weimar Germany degenerated into exactly the social conditions under which Marx predicted proletarian revolution, German communism flopped, Heidegger became a Nazi University Rector, and a stunned Marcuse soon exiled himself to Switzerland and eventually America, where he would spend the rest of his life trying to come up with an explanation for what happened.

Marcuse’s understandable grief and horror over the rise of Nazism, coupled with a humorously powerful loathing for his adopted American home, led him to write the work that first made him famous, 1964’s One-Dimensional Man.

The smash #1 bestseller sold 300,000 copies and detailed Marcuse’s long-awaited explanation for a) why the proletariat had not risen in postwar Germany, and b) why there was no sense in waiting for it to do so going forward. He explained: not only was the material condition of the worker in modern capitalism insufficiently brutal to spur him to revolution, but technological advances coupled with expanded freedoms allowed even the lowliest employee to fully integrate into the “one-dimensional society,” a consumerist hell of mostly met material needs, “pleasure,” “fun,” and “socially permissible desirable satisfaction,” all of which “weakens the rationality of protest.”

In this world where the commonest shlub can “have the fine arts at his fingertips, by just turning a knob on his set,” it would be impossible, Marcuse lamented, to produce the kind of class alienation Marx envisioned. What’s the point of having the right to dissent, if conditions disincline the citizen to revolution?

Independence of thought, autonomy, and the right to political opposition are being deprived of their basic critical function in a society which seems increasingly capable of satisfying the needs of the individuals through the way in which it is organized. Such a society may justly demand acceptance of its principles and institutions…

In the later book, An Essay on Liberation, Marcuse anticipated 21st-century liberal attitudes by concluding that the working-class was an actively regressive social force:

By virtue of its basic position in the production process, by virtue of its numerical weight and the weight of exploitation, the working class is still the historical agent of revolution; by virtue of its sharing the stabilizing needs of the system, it has become a conservative, even counterrevolutionary force.

After One-Dimensional Man, Marcuse in the 1965 essay Repressive Tolerance set out to argue that the very “stabilizing” rights and freedoms that facilitated this treacherous class integration were the problem that needed conquering. What resulted might be the most impassioned argument against individual rights ever written. It makes the Directorium Inquisitorum read like Dr. Spock on Parenting.

Repressive Tolerance is a towering monument to the possibilities of nonsense in the academic profession. The essay’s 10,000 words, alternately hilarious and breathtaking, are circular thinking and the absence of self-awareness raised to the level of art. We don’t often encounter an author capable of denouncing “the tyranny of Orwellian syntax” while arguing in the same breath, literally and without irony, that freedom is slavery. (read more)

MICKEY MOUSE FASCISM

Gina Carano and the Rise of the Corporate Fascist Empire

My wife and I are both huge Star Wars fans, and naturally we have passed our passion for Star Wars down to our boys. So, when Disney+ announced that it was launching a new Star Wars television series titled The Mandalorian, we were excited. After all, a series about a bounty hunter that looked like Boba Fett was every Star Wars fanboy’s dream! Every Friday night my family gathered with popcorn and candy to watch the latest episode. The stories are good, the special effects are great, and the characters are well developed.

Gina CaranoOne of those characters is a woman named Cara Dune, played by Gina Carano. Cara Dune is not the overly sexualized, overly confident, underdeveloped, boring character that is all too common in popular sci-fi and fantasy today. She’s a war veteran with some serious PTSD. She is beautiful, but not in the fake, Hollywood way. She feels real. She looks real. She is everything the feminists have been demanding for years from sci-fi and fantasy—a realistic, strong female character that is valued for her abilities, not her sexuality.

Cara Dune was an extremely popular character. So popular in fact, that Lucasfilm, the Disney-owned company that makes Star Wars, had plans for giving her a Disney+ spinoff show. But that was before they realized Gina Carano engaged in Wrongthink. Apparently, she made some posts on social media that the company did not like, and they fired her. The Daily Wire quotes a Lucasfilm spokesperson stating that “[Carano’s] social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.” What in the world did Carano post that would merit not only her firing but such a venomous statement?

According to the Daily Wire, Carano posted a screenshot that stated:

“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?”

Had her post actually denigrated Jews, as Lucasfilm claimed, I would have agreed with their decision to fire Carano. But clearly the post does not denigrate Jews. To the contrary, the post correctly depicts the Nazis as bad guys and the Jews as victims to warn Americans through historical analogy not to go down the slippery road of hate.

So why mischaracterize Carano’s post? According to the Hollywood Reporter, a source at Lucasfilm has claimed that “[The executives at Lucasfilm] have been looking for a reason to fire her for two months.” Why? On the surface it appears that Carano has simply been the latest victim of America’s “cancel culture” as the “woke mob” took to Twitter with the hashtag #FireGinaCarano. But upon deeper examination it becomes clear that the woke mob did not force corporate executives to fire Carano, but rather the corporate executives are the woke mob.  Or more accurately, woke executives have taken over corporate America and are turning us into a corporate fascist state. Ironically, they are doing the thing Carano warned about in the post that got her fired.

In the world of woke corporate fascism, making money has become secondary. While Goya Foods, Chick-Fil-A, and My Pillow saw their sales skyrocket when they refused to bend to the woke mob, the NFL and Target lost customers by being too woke. But instead of changing their policies, they doubled down on their wokeness.

The primary goal for woke corporations is power because power is the primary goal of all would-be tyrants. What do these corporations care if they lose a million or even a billion dollars if they can get everyone to bend to their will? Like a bully who enjoys making other kids cry “uncle,” these corporate tyrants love exerting their control over us. Americans must allow men to use the restroom with our little girls; we must stand and cheer for men who refuse to stand and cheer for our country; but most of all, we must never engage in Wrongthink!

Unfortunately, power-hungry corporate executives control many of the largest corporations on the planet. Giant corporations decide what “facts” the public is allowed to see. Giant corporations decide what is acceptable to think and what is not. Giant corporations decide who is allowed to communicate with the public. Twitter even banned the sitting President of the United States! Imagine that, a communication company censoring the President. And before you defend Twitter’s actions to suspend then-President Trump’s account, remember, Twitter has allowed the tyrannical, anti-Semitic, terror-sponsoring, war-mongering Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of Iran to remain on their platform.

The woke elites who run most of the world’s major corporations despise us. They think they are superior to us, that we are not smart enough, or cultured enough, or cosmopolitan enough to think correctly. Those of us who disagree with them must be reeducated or destroyed. They want us to not only be silenced, but to starve. They don’t want us to have jobs or friends or anything. If you dared to vote wrong, you must be reeducated until you grovel properly, or you must be shunned and starve. Because you engage in Wrongthink, you do not deserve to make a living to feed your family.

Am I being hyperbolic? People like Gina Carano are fired from their jobs for not thinking the right way. YouTube has demonetized and banned filmmakers for not thinking the right way. Facebook, Twitter, and other sites have banned users for not thinking the right way. Amazon, the world’s largest book seller, has refused to sell books that don’t present the proper position. Apple and Google have refused to allow the social media platforms Gab and Parler to be on their phones, and Amazon stopped hosting Parler’s website, because those platforms do not force their users to conform to Righthink. Meanwhile, various media personalities are calling for the blacklisting of former Trump administration officials, and the reeducation of Trump supporters. (read more)

TEXAS CITY ANNOUNCED PLAN TO COMMIT ECONOMIC SUICIDE

Austin Energy’s 2030 Plan, With Zero Carbon by 2035, Gets Initial Approval

After meeting for several hours on March 9 in a special joint meeting, members of the City of Austin’s Electric Utility Commission (EUC) and Resource Management Commission (RMC) recommended approval of a revised and improved Austin Energy Resource, Generation, and Climate Protection Plan to 2030 (the 2030 Plan). The vote was unanimous, but the two Commissions voted in favor of resolutions to further improve the 2030 Plan due to significant concerns about lack of equity in the update process. The resolutions were identical except that the RMC made one important change: require an update in 2023 (which was not adopted in the EUC resolution).

“The proposed 2030 Plan -- with the improvements made during the special EUC-RMC meeting -- represents a groundbreaking and unique resource plan mapping the transition to renewable energy for the second largest public utility in Texas. The 2030 plan commits to lowering carbon emissions, creating more equitable and affordable solar and energy efficiency programs, and, perhaps most importantly, phasing out the use of both coal and gas resources by 2035 at the latest,” noted the Lone Star Chapter’s Conservation Director, Cyrus Reed. Cyrus is a member of both the EUC and the Resource Planning Working Group, which drafted the proposed 2030 Plan with input from the utility.

Under the proposed plan, which is being sent to City Council for final approval, Austin Energy commits to using internal carbon pricing to run its existing Fayette coal power plant approximately 30 percent less over the next two-and-a-half years, before closing the Austin-owned portion of the plant by the end of 2022. (The other owner of the plant -- the Lower Colorado River Authority has not made any commitments to close their portion of the plant). Austin Energy reaffirmed its commitments to close down the two primary steam units of the Decker fracked gas plants over the next two years as well. Ultimately, Austin Energy committed to extending its carbon pricing model (after Fayette shuts down) to the remaining gas units at Decker and the Sandhill fracked gas plant until they are retired by the end of 2035 or sooner. This plan to reduce dependency on fossil fuel plants is known as the REACH plan, which states:

“Upon City Council approval of this 2030 Plan, Austin Energy will adopt a new market-based approach to accelerate reduction of carbon emissions by its legacy generators in the most economic manner available. This approach, known as Reduce Emissions Affordably for Climate Health (“REACH”), will incorporate a cost of carbon in the generation dispatch price, allowing Austin Energy to reduce generation output during low-margin periods but keep the resources available for high-margin periods. Austin Energy will apply an annual amount of approximately2% of the prior year’s PSA to implement REACH. Austin Energy will continue to adhere to the CityCouncil affordability metrics through active portfolio management. The REACH plan is expected to reduce the utility’s carbon emissions by 30% or approximately 4 million metric tons between approval of this 2030 Plan and Austin Energy’s exit from FPP. Thereafter, the REACH plan is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 8% each year, while maintaining the flexibility to protect our customers’ rates in periods of high prices in the wholesale market, until achieving zero carbon emissions by 2035. Austin Energy will report semi-annually to the Electric Utility Commission and the City Council the realized reduction in carbon emissions from the REACH plan’s implementation.”

In terms of energy goals specifically, Austin Energy commits to getting 86 percent of its energy from carbon-free sources by 2025 -- including more than 60% renewables -- and replacing all of its retiring fossil fuel units with an equivalent amount of renewable energy, storage, and other technologies that don’t emit carbon by 2035. The 2030 Plan also eliminates any potential for additional nuclear power -- although we would continue to rely on the current nuclear plant for 23% percent of our power. This essentially means that in 2030, the greater Austin area would have at least 375 MWs of locally-sited solar, a cumulative total of 1200 MWs of demand response and energy efficiency, and 40 MWs of thermal storage, and by 2035, the greater Austin area would only rely on the existing nuclear power plant, solar and wind power, and energy storage to meet all of our electrical needs.

The 2030 Plan also commits Austin Energy to work with the Equity Office to determine a third party organization that can convene a series of community meetings over the course of a year to explore the barriers to expanding energy efficiency, demand response, and solar programs to limited-income people and communities of color, while continuing to pilot, and eventually expand, the“shared solar” (for multi-family housing) and community solar programs.

In addition to these policy changes outlined in the 2030 plan, the EUC and RMC recommended to revise the 2030 Plan to address significant equity concerns. First and foremost, the Commission recognized a lack of equity considerations in the process updating the 2030 Plan and voted to require that Austin Energy work with the Equity Office in determining an improved future process that emphasizes community inclusion. This was an important improvement given that the current working group was not reflective of Austin’s diversity and took place during the work day, which made attending these meetings, despite being open to the public, very difficult for most Austinites.

On top of that, Austin Energy would be required to provide an annual report on research related to electric vehicles, demand response, electric storage and other new technologies designed to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. They would also have to report twice a year on how effective the carbon pricing efforts are at reducing emissions from their fossil fuel plants. (read more)

AP FACT CHECK WAS NOT FACTUAL

AP FACT CHECK: Trump’s skewed indictment of wind power

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump’s dismissal of wind power as a glitchy, pricey, bird-slaughtering way to make electricity is out of step with the times.

He slammed the technology in his debate with Democrat Joe Biden on Thursday night, falsely contending wind power is dirtier and far pricier than natural gas. Here’s a look at what he said:

TRUMP to Biden: “I know more about wind than you do. It’s extremely expensive.”

THE FACTS: No it isn’t. His point is outdated.

Wind-energy costs hit all-time lows as of 2019, averaging less than 2 cents per kilowatt-hour for newly built projects,

[ "Land-based utility-scale wind is one of the lowest-priced energy sources available today, costing 1–2 cents per kilowatt-hour after the production tax credit." (source),  THUS, WITHOUT THE PRODUCTION TAX CREDIT, IT IS NOT COMPETITIVE.]

... TRUMP: “It’s very intermittent. It’s got a lot of problems.”

THE FACTS: He’s e exaggerating the downsides.

Trump’s opinion about wind power being unreliable isn’t shared by many big energy users. By next year, renewables such as wind and solar will be providing more of Americans’ electricity than nuclear- and coal-fired power plants do, says the government’s Energy Information Administration.

And it says that by 2045, renewables will surpass even natural gas in powering U.S. electricity plants.

[BUT IT IS INTERMITTENT, just ask the millions in Texas who have been without power for hours or days this week of polar weather. A Texas electric utility executive, in off-the-record comments, stated, "... the wind turbines are shut down due to icing concerns. Ice would destroy the turbines." Now, icy conditions are not unusual in the uplands west of IH 35 in Texas. Why does Texas rely on wind turbines for almost 1/4 of its base load units knowing the turbines will be offline when needed to heat homes, greenhouses, poultry houses, etc.?

The idiocy does not stop there. The same utility insider told me, "But in San Antonio, CPS Energy permanently shut down two coal units. We are owned by the city and the mayor sides with the Sierra Club. Political." Also, "Coal units are shut down permanently thanks to Obama's regulations."

Texas has abundant natural gas resources. Are those being used to generate electricity? Unfortunately, not fully. He said, "The gas units are sometimes curtailed due to diverting natural gas for residential heating." However, natural gas burning residential furnaces require electricity to run. So, because of "green" ideology, millions in Central Texas are suffering.

The utility guy summed it up, "The remaining nuclear and natural gas units are not enough to meet demand during extreme weather conditions."

IDIOT SAVANT MIGHT SAY, "My Tesla won't work below zero."
"She’s just reminding the silly academics and climate change scientists that their prescriptions for cheap, renewable energy does not work where the temperature hovers around zero and the sun only shows itself during winter for a few scant hours."

Where Is the Global Warming When You Really Need It?

Mother Nature is one angry, cruel woman. At least that’s the word I’m hearing from the chattering lips and shivering bodies of friends in Iowa and Nebraska. Temperatures have plunged to historic lows, including south Texas, and revealed how goofy and detached from reality are the pseudo-scientists blabbering endlessly about the existential threat of climate change–the wind mills that are supposed to cleanly and cheaply turn out electricity froze solid.

Guess who else is suffering from the blue lip, frozen snot artic temperatures? Electric vehicles–say goodby to Tesla as a reliable companion if the mercury is in single digits. Talking with an old friend in Clarion, Iowa, I had a full belly laugh as he described his recent conversation with a friend who owned a car dealership.

Iowa has been particularly savaged by howling winds and temperatures worthy of a deep freezer. People with Teslas and other electric cars (e.g. Volt) have discovered much to their chagrin that electric batteries do not like the cold. Severe, low temps rapidly drain the batteries of their charge, and the next thing you know you are stranded next to a corn field in a lonely stretch of road. You just have to hope that you kept your cell phone charged to call for help. This discovery is leading many formerly happy owners of the electric cars to dump them as fast as they can get themselves into a gas-fueled pick up truck or SUV capable of plowing through a snowdrift.

I say thank God for Mother Nature. She’s not angry or cruel. She’s just reminding the silly academics and climate change scientists that their prescriptions for cheap, renewable energy does not work where the temperature hovers around zero and the sun only shows itself during winter for a few scant hours.

While climate change obsession is absurd, it is not funny. People died because wind-supplied electricity stopped working. Women and children died because the loss of power led them to rely on gas-burning stoves that produced carbon monoxide. That said, I am all in favor of the Democrat-controlled states to go all-in on getting rid of fossil fuel power systems and supplies. Why? Let Darwin do his work and rid us of these delusional souls. IDIOT SAVANT SAYS, "I drank water made from human feces."

Bill Gates Pushes Biden To Spend BILLIONS More On Climate Change, And Taxpayers Will Foot The Bill

Billionaire Bill Gates may have been one of former President Donald J. Trump’s biggest critics, but he is completely on board with Joe Biden’s radical environmental policies.

The Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist praised Biden’s efforts to destroy the domestic fossil fuels industry in order to replace it with alternatives under the guise of an eco-friendly “sustainability” during an appearance on “60 Minutes” on Sunday.

During his chat with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Gates touted what he calls a “zero carbon future” that over text 30 years will require a “global cooperation on a scale the world has never seen”. This is music to the ears of those who are rushing to dismantle Trump’s America first agenda.

The Biden regime’s commitment to tearing down America in order to “build back better” has already resulted in the loss of tens of thousands of jobs due to the cancelation of the Keystone XL pipeline, bans on oil and gas drilling leases, and the possible termination of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Gates has been on a Fauci-like media blitz to promote his new book How To Avoid A Climate Disaster and clearly plans to exercise great influence on Biden and his climate change crusaders.

He is now calling Biden to increase climate climate change research to a staggering $35 billion a year. The worst part? We The People would be footing the bill.

... Anderson Cooper: You’ve said that governments need to do the hard stuff, but not just go after the low-hanging fruit. What– what’s low-hanging fruit?

Bill Gates: Passenger cars, part of the electric generation with renewables. The things everybody knows about, that’s getting almost all the money, not the hard parts, which is the industrial piece including the steel and cement. Those pieces we’ve hardly started to work on.

No one thinks much about cement and steel, but making it accounts for 16% of all carbon dioxide emissions. And the demand is only growing. The world will add an estimated two and a half trillion square feet of buildings by 2060 — that’s the equivalent of putting up another New York City every month for the next 40 years.”

Gates also rolled out some of his big ideas, one of them designed to end the planetary menace of flatulent cows by convincing people to eat foods created out of fungus. (yes, really)

More from CBS:

Because cows account for around 4% of all greenhouse gases, Gates has invested in two companies making plant based meat substitutes, impossible foods and beyond meat. But farming the vegetables used to make many meat alternatives emits gases as well, so Gates is also backing a company that’s created an entirely new food source.

“This company, Nature’s Fynd, is using fungi. And then they turn them into sausage and yogurt. Pretty amazing,” Gates said.

Some of Gates’ other ideas that didn’t make it into “60 Minutes” include his miraculous machine that turns human waste into drinking water.

IDIOT SAVANT SAYS, NO BEEF FOR YOU

Bill Gates: ‘Rich Countries Should Move to 100% Synthetic Beef’

Countries that are well-off economically should give up meat entirely, billionaire Microsoft Co-Founder Bill Gates says.

Gates made the claim in an interview published Sunday in the MIT Technology Review, in which he touted his new book, How to Avoid a Climate Disaster.

Asked if plant-based and lab-grown meats “could be the full solution to the protein problem” globally caused by addressing the “highly potent emissions from burping livestock and fertilizer.” Gates said that poorer nations should be allowed to consume meat – but, prosperous nations should abstain from it entirely:

“So no, I don’t think the poorest 80 countries will be eating synthetic meat.

“I do think all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef. You can get used to the taste difference, and the claim is they’re going to make it taste even better over time.”

But, if citizens refuse to shun meat willfully, the government can “use regulation to totally shift the demand,” Gates said. “So for meat in the middle-income-and-above countries, I do think it’s possible.”

In those less-fortunate countries that continue to consume meat,” the solution is to “use animal genetics to dramatically raise the amount of beef per emissions for them,” Gates said.

Gates also complained about legislation requiring faux meat producers to tell consumers what they’re buying. Plant-based and lab-grown beef is harder to sell because “They don’t want us to use the beef label,” Gates said.

Gates is an investor, either personally or indirectly, in companies such as Beyond Meats and Impossible Foods, MIT Technology Review notes. (read more)

VLAD IMPALES THE NEW WORLD ORDER
"Obviously, the era linked with attempts to build a centralised and unipolar world order has ended. To be honest, this era did not even begin. A mere attempt was made in this direction, but this, too, is now history. The essence of this monopoly ran counter to our civilisation’s cultural and historical diversity."

Vladimir Putin At Davos Online Forum – Transcript

Colleagues,

I have been to Davos many times, attending the events organised by Mr Schwab, even back in the 1990s. Klaus [Schwab] just recalled that we met in 1992. Indeed, during my time in St Petersburg, I visited this important forum many times. I would like to thank you for this opportunity today to convey my point of view to the expert community that gathers at this world-renowned platform thanks to the efforts of Mr Schwab.

First of all, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to greet all the World Economic Forum participants.

It is gratifying that this year, despite the pandemic, despite all the restrictions, the forum is still continuing its work. Although it is limited to online participation, the forum is taking place anyway, providing an opportunity for participants to exchange their assessments and forecasts during an open and free discussion, partially compensating for the increasing lack of in-person meetings between leaders of states, representatives of international business and the public in recent months. All this is very important now, when we have so many difficult questions to answer.

The current forum is the first one in the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century and, naturally, the majority of its topics are devoted to the profound changes that are taking place in the world.

Indeed, it is difficult to overlook the fundamental changes in the global economy, politics, social life and technology. The coronavirus pandemic, which Klaus just mentioned, which became a serious challenge for humankind, only spurred and accelerated the structural changes, the conditions for which had been created long ago. The pandemic has exacerbated the problems and imbalances that built up in the world before. There is every reason to believe that differences are likely to grow stronger. These trends may appear practically in all areas.

Needless to say, there are no direct parallels in history. However, some experts – and I respect their opinion – compare the current situation to the 1930s. One can agree or disagree, but certain analogies are still suggested by many parameters, including the comprehensive, systemic nature of the challenges and potential threats.

We are seeing a crisis of the previous models and instruments of economic development. Social stratification is growing stronger both globally and in individual countries. We have spoken about this before as well. But this, in turn, is causing today a sharp polarisation of public views, provoking the growth of populism, right- and left-wing radicalism and other extremes, and the exacerbation of domestic political processes including in the leading countries. MODERN ETIQUETTE: HOW TO DESCRIBE A SHAM IMPEACHMENT TRIAL

“Presiding” Democrat Caught On Hot Mic: “This Is All F*#’D Up”

The “impeachment” of Donald Trump isn’t going the way Democrats wanted.

Chief Justice Roberts wouldn’t preside because Trump was no longer a sitting president.

So Democrats chose Patrick Leahy to “preside” over the sham impeachment.

And that’s not going well, either. Here’s what Leahy said on a hot mic today:

MODERN ETIQUETTE: HOW TO ADDRESS THE USURPER-IN-CHIEF
"Biden responded: “Address me as Mr. President or President Biden.” DeSantis bluntly said: “I will not, and you can go fuck yourself.” DeSantis then hung up."

Biden Claims He Can Prevent People from Traveling State to State with Fauci Support

Biden told the press before calling Governor DeSantis of Florida was “irresponsible” for opening up when other states were locked down. Biden objected to Florida opening up last September.

“What do you have to have to have these industries back up? You have to have people from New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Minneapolis, you’ve got to have people from the Midwest, you’ve got to have people come down and want to go to those parks, right? Well guess what? They are not coming now because of your governor’s irresponsibility.”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Marco Rubio publicly stated that the Biden administration for reportedly considering a domestic travel ban on the state, calling the threat “unconstitutional” and a “political attack” on Floridians. DeSantis said: “Any attempt to restrict by the federal government would be an attack on our state done purely for political purposes,” DeSantis said at a press conference Thursday, February 12, 2021.

“The recent report that the Biden administration is considering restricting
the travel of Floridians is completely absurd, especially when Biden allows
illegal aliens to pour across our southern border. We won’t allow Floridians
to be unfairly targeted for political purposes. pic.twitter.com/h47AVuof50

— Ron DeSantis (@GovRonDeSantis) February 11, 2021

What is amazingly inconsistent is Biden has stopped deportations of illegal aliens and stopped Trump’s wall as millions are headed to the US in hopes Biden will give them all free citizenship. He wants to stop Americans from traveling to Florida because they are pouring out of New York permanently while allowing the Mexican border to be open. Biden is using COVID to try to stop the migration leaving New York City and California because of Democratic lockdowns. His solution? Travel bans to prevent migration, which began back in 2019 as [Democrat's policies] destroyed New York and California’s economy.

According to Michael Baxter, there was a phone call where Biden and Fauci, who is appearing in World Economic Forum promotional videos for the Great Reset, were threatening now to shut down the entire country using travel bans following the lead from Boris Johnson or Spain where you need government permission to move from one town to the next. Biden is threatening the Republican States and demanding they lockdown. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was on a conference call with Biden and Fauci where Biden said he would prohibit domestic travel to and from Florida because it would not lockdown. DeSantis did not take any shit from Biden who claimed he had the authority to “restrict movement” of the people. There is absolutely nothing in the Constitution that given such authority and it is a First Amendment right to freedom of movement.

Biden claims he might have to prohibit vehicle and air traffic until the CDC and NIH were confident that currently available vaccinations had a proven efficacy against emerging strains, such as highly transmissible anomalies from the United Kingdom, Brazil, and South Africa. In other words, he is threatening to shut down the entire economy of the United States by executive order for a claimed disease with a kill ratio of 0.028% destroying jobs, food production, and distribution. This is total insanity!

Dr. Fauci and acting CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, both supported this action and told DeSantis that surging cases in Florida threatened to undermine the federal government’s expansive efforts to mitigate spread across the country. Walensky argued that no state has the authority to resist a federally mandated travel ban.

Biden then added that DeSantis left Florida’s economy open during “the dark days of Covid.” Yet the cases here were less than in New York. Moreover, Biden claimed he had unilateral and constitutional authority to protect the nation’s health from “rogue politicians” acting in contravention of established health guidelines. DeSantis replied: “I will not comply.” He said that Biden was targeting Republican states that supported Donald Trump.

“Florida absolutely will not comply,” DeSantis repeated. “Instituting a travel ban or restriction of movement would be a gross example of federal overreach with no grounding in law or science. We have Covid-19 in check, and you’re trying to exert unlawful authority over our state and its people.”

Biden then tacitly threatened to withhold federal funding and to deny Florida access to Covid-19 vaccinations.  DeSantis said: “How much do you stand to earn from these vaccines, Dr. Fauci? And, Joe, if you continue with this course of action, I will authorize the state National Guard to protect the movement of Floridians.”  Biden responded: “Address me as Mr. President or President Biden.” DeSantis bluntly said: “I will not, and you can go fuck yourself.” DeSantis then hung up.

Joe Biden is not acting as the President of the nation. He thinks he is a dictator and he will destroy the US economy just like Boris Johnson.

Politico, the left-wing news propaganda, reported that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday lashed out at the Biden administration, promising that the state would strongly and swiftly oppose any attempts to block Americans from traveling to the Sunshine State. DeSantis’ comments were in response to a Wednesday story by McClatchy that quoted an unnamed White House official saying the administration was considering imposing domestic travel restrictions, including on Florida, to stem the transmission of a new Covid-19 variant that is rapidly spreading in the state. DeSantis, a Republican, called consideration of travel restrictions “absurd” and a “political attack on the people of Florida.” He said it would be “ridiculous” to impose curbs on domestic travel while relaxing restrictions on the U.S.-Mexico border.

The White House responds — White House press secretary Jen Psaki addressed the idea of domestic travel considerations at a briefing after DeSantis spoke. “We are always considering what steps are necessary to keep the American people safe, but we are not currently in the process of, no decisions have been made around additional public health measures that would delay or would change, I should say, domestic travel considerations,” Psaki said.

Secession is starting to look very good! This is why they have built the Nancy Pelosi Wall in DC. They could care less about illegal aliens, it’s the Americans they are afraid of. There are now trying to pass legislation to make Nancy’s Wall – PERMANENT! (read more)

Lawmakers Call for Governor Cuomo's Removal

New York lawmakers are calling for Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s impeachment after new information was released Thursday night on how his administration concealed Covid-19 death tolls.

Cuomo’s top aide, Melissa DeRosa, privately apologized to Democratic lawmakers in a virtual meeting on Wednesday for withholding the state’s nursing-home death toll from COVID-19. She told lawmakers that the administration “froze” out of fear that the data would “be used against us” by federal prosecutors under the Trump administration, The New York Post reported Thursday.

According to audio footage The Post obtained of the meeting, DeRosa admitted the Cuomo administration had declined requests for a full count of nursing home deaths in August because “right around the same time, [then-President Donald Trump] turns this into a giant political football.”

“He starts tweeting that we killed everyone in nursing homes,” DeRosa said. “He starts going after [New Jersey Gov. Phil] Murphy, starts going after [California Gov. Gavin] Newsom, starts going after [Michigan Gov.] Gretchen Whitmer.”

In addition to attacking Cuomo’s fellow Democratic governors, DeRosa said, Trump “directs the Department of Justice to do an investigation into us.”

“And basically, we froze,” she told the lawmakers on the call.

“We were in a position where we weren’t sure if what we were going to give to the Department of Justice, or what we give to you guys, what we start saying, was going to be used against us while we weren’t sure if there was going to be an investigation.”

DeRosa then attempted to make amends with the fellow democrat lawmakers for putting them in this situation.

“So we do apologize,” she said. “I do understand the position that you were put in. I know that it is not fair. It was not our intention to put you in that political position with the Republicans.”

According to the latest reports, nearly 15,000 New Yorkers who were in long-term care facilities died from Covid-19. The death toll number increased from about 9,000 to almost 15,000—making clear that the pandemic’s toll on long-term care residents was much worse than the Cuomo administration previously portrayed it to be.

State Senate Minority Leader Rob Ortt will hold a press conference Friday morning to push for further investigation into the situation.

“If the Governor is involved, he should be immediately removed from office,” Ortt said.

State GOP Chair Nick Langworthy is calling for Cuomo’s immediate impeachment.

“The second most powerful person in state government and top aide to Gov. Cuomo admitted on video to the premeditated and willful violation of state laws and what clearly amounts to federal obstruction of justice,” Langworthy said. “Andrew Cuomo has abused his power and destroyed the trust placed in the office of governor. Prosecution and impeachment discussions must begin right away.” (read more)

KILLING OUR CULTURE

The Trials of Wokery

How do you like the party you supposedly voted into power so far? Or is it perhaps too much to say they were actually voted into anything? And if so — if there was something, let’s say, a little irregular with the ballot tabulation, maybe even more than a little — have they not succeeded splendidly in pissing-off more than half the people across the land? And then attempted to rub that half’s faces into the squishy, fetid loam of the DC Swamp?

I’d say that every move they make, every breath they take, seems calculated to spark a new civil war. Yesterday’s spiteful exercise in cognitive dissonance was a humdinger: Mr. Biden threatened to cut off travel to Florida for flouting his regime’s policy on Covid-19 lockdowns, while over in Texas (and several other states), he ordered a general unlocking-down of the border with Mexico, permitting the unchecked illegal ingress of thousands of possible Covid-19 carriers a day. Ron DeSantis, Florida’s governor, responded, saying — if I may paraphrase — see you in court, asshole.

Meanwhile, the cancellation reign-of-terror among the regime’s self-appointed guardians of Wokeness rages on. In the name of diversity and inclusion, no one in the USA is allowed to publicly question the Woke narrative of the moment, or else be deprived of your livelihood. The New York Times fired forty-year veteran science reporter Donald G. McNeil, Jr., for using the freighted word “n*gg*r” while answering a student’s question about the history of the word’s usage, just as I am explaining his use of it in the incident at issue — that is, academically.

Though Mr. McNeil’s intent was incontrovertibly innocent as viewed by persons not insane — including, only briefly, the paper’s executive editor Dean Baquet — the decision to not sack Mr. McNeil provoked a reflexive uproar among the Times’s staff, as something in the wind might provoke a flight of grasshoppers transforming into a swarm of locusts, and Mr. Baquet reversed himself, forcing Mr. McNeil to choose demotion or resignation. Then, to make matters worse, the Times’s publisher, AG Sulzberger, spiked a column by nominally “conservative” op-ed writer Bret Stephens that attempted to argue some legalistic points about intent in the conduct of a witch hunt, an apparent affront to the Times’s witch-hunters, who seem to prefer their witch-hunting as a straight-up blood sport.

How strange it is to see the group formerly so avid for social and sexual transgression, and the artistic subversion of norms, turn into the most viciously censorious species of bluenose. But, of course, you must understand that Wokery is not about principle, not even a teeny-weeny bit. It’s simply about coercion and punishment, which is exactly why apologizing for supposed counter-Woke errors never avails. In other words, you are not dealing with a mere extreme type of moralist, but rather dedicated sadists. They’re not in it to correct injustice, but for the pleasures of vengeance alone, the torturing of their quarry, and the glow of power it confers.

And the motive is no different among the Democratic Party’s Wokesters in government. How else explain the idiotic impeachment of former president Trump, like the trial of the cadaver of Pope Formosus in the year 897, seven months after his death, for provoking the Carolingian Duke Arnolf to cross the Alps into Italy and seize the throne of the Holy Roman Empire. That episode took place in the heart of the Dark Ages, of course, but have we perhaps not entered a new Dark Age with the Woke Inquisition against — let’s just face it — Western Civ, and all its (for some) difficult-to-comprehend achievements?

Like the trial of Formosus, the trial of Mr. Trump is strictly in the service of laying out a story, a narrative, for validating the continued persecution of Woke heretics — that is, “insurrectionists,” indeed anyone not ardently on-board with transforming the USA into a Woke tyranny of race-and-gender hustling and the endless extortion of cash penalties for the crime of whiteness. What cat-turd box of Satan’s own law school are the leaders of this despotic hysteria hatched from: Pelosi, Swalwell, Adam Schiff*, Schumer**, and their accessories in media and tech, Jack, Zuck, Cook, and Bezos, and their numberless priests in higher ed? How much longer will it be before the substantial and obdurately not-insane of this country refuse to roll over for these rampaging maniacs? (read more)

KILLING GRANDMA II

J’Accuse

To Andrew Cuomo J.D., Howard A. Zucker, M.D., J.D., and Sally Dreslin M.S, R.N.

I am at a loss to explain why neither one of you has been fired, resigned in disgrace, been arrested, or why you Mr. Cuomo haven’t been impeached yet. Somehow, all three of you have managed to maintain your poorly deserved prestige and professional licenses, and you continue to brightly shine in the daily MSM briefings. This defies all logic as any other public servant responsible for what you have done by now would have been labeled with the shameful stains of negligence—but not you!

Despite your misconduct and total dereliction of duties, you still remain inexplicably unscathed. But what this wretched Covid-19 affair has cast on your reputation won’t wash away with brevity or jokes.

You recently issued another administrative directive, or, might I say, royal proclamation befitting a tyrannical monarch not accountable to anyone nor the law of the land. This order reversed your previous decree that all hospitals can transfer Covid-19 patients directly to nursing homes and care facilities. This is an affirmation of the criminal act which resulted in the deaths of over 6,000 (more likely double that figure) patients in the New York state and continues even now at the rate of 10-30 per day.

History shall record that it was the following perverse order that led New York state to commit a heinous crime against the weakest and most vulnerable members of our society:

No resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the NH solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19. NHs are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized resident who is determined medically stable to be tested for COVID-19 prior to admission or readmission.”

Even if your vile enablers at CNN and NYT suppress the truth for a while longer, you can be certain that what you have plotted in the dark will be revealed in the daylight, and what you have schemed in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the rooftops. Since you have subverted all channels of justice, it should now be the duty of every resident in the state to speak out and not become an accomplice in this crime.

And it is to the three of you that I shall proclaim this with all the revulsion that a man can summon with the written word:

You were aware of the potential devastating consequences of your directive prior to your actions—but you issued the directive nevertheless. To whom if not to you, Governor Cuomo, the first magistrate of the state of New York, shall I reveal the treacherous nature of your band of Ivy league credentialed thugs?

At the root of it all are the three of you: Andrew M. Cuomo Governor, Howard A. Zucker,  Commissioner of Health, and Sally Dreslin, Executive Deputy Commissioner of Health. You, your media accomplices, and your healthcare industry ‘donors’ are the prime movers behind the death sentence that you pronounced on the thousands of high risk elderly New Yorkers.

I realize that at the end of the day, Governor Cuomo, you are a just a manipulative political opportunist who believes that there are no limits to what you and your entourage can do and get away with. Nonetheless, you are still accountable to G-d—to whom you will ultimately have to answer. I have not despaired of the triumph of justice, in this case, I believe with the strongest conviction that truth is on the march and neither you nor your wicked lot can stop it. The positions are clear: on one side are your legions of darkness that will do all in their power to subvert the truth; on the other side is the sons of light who will fight to expose it.

With the truth in mind, I level these charges against you:

1.I accuse you and your cohorts of being the diabolical masterminds of this death directive and of covering your dirty deeds by all manners of evil machinations.
2.I accuse you of inflicting through your directives untold emotional pain, suffering, and psychological distress on thousands of family members and front line medical workers at nursing homes.
3.I accuse you of one of the greatest instances of incompetence and medical malpractice in recorded history.
4.I accuse you of professional negligence raising to the level of criminal negligence and manslaughter.
5.I accuse you of surreptitiously passing immunity legislation to protect yourselves and your allies from prosecution and in so doing being guilty of conspiracy and crimes against humanity.
6.I accuse you of complicity in a crime that was driven by financial, political, and professional greed.
7.I accuse you of violating public trust by hiding, subverting, and suppressing evidence that show your culpability in these crimes.
8.I accuse you of conducting a fraudulent inquiry by which I mean a biased root cause analysis of the nursing home deaths and then redirecting/misdirecting blame to the frontline medical staff, patient families, ‘CDC directives’, and G-d.
9.I accuse you of creating and referencing reports and medical data that were deceitful including deliberately exaggerating the need for 30,000 ventilators and claiming that NY hospitals could not handle Covid-19 patients.
10.I accuse you of conspiring with media outlets like NYT and CNN to conduct political influence operations against the residents of New York state and a campaign to mislead the public and cover-up your wrongdoings.
11.I accuse the New York State justice system including judges and DAs and law enforcement in the jurisdictions where these crimes took place of facilitating a judicial homicide by failing to stop these crimes and investigate and persecute the guilty parties.

As for the people I am accusing, I have never met them nor do I bear them any personal ill will. To me they are mere tools, purveyors of evil, instruments of greed, and agents of harm to our society. I am taking this measure to hasten their exposure in the hope that by doing so, tens of thousands of innocent crime victims and their families will find some solace and the justice they deserve.

In 1690, John Locke wrote:

“…where the body of the people, or any single man, is deprived of their right, or is under the exercise of a power without right, and have no appeal on earth, then they have a liberty to appeal to heaven…”

Three hundred and thirty years later, this is the appeal to heaven from thousands of innocent victims.read more)

KILLING GRANDMA I
“And in a, in a pandemic, when you want the public to trust the public health officials, and there is this clear feeling that they’re not coming, being forthcoming with you, that is really hard and it remains difficult.”

Cuomo aide Melissa DeRosa admits they hid nursing home data so feds wouldn’t find out

Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s top aide privately apologized to Democratic lawmakers for withholding the state’s nursing home death toll from COVID-19 — telling them “we froze” out of fear that the true numbers would “be used against us” by federal prosecutors, The Post has learned.

The stunning admission of a coverup was made by secretary to the governor Melissa DeRosa during a video conference call with state Democratic leaders in which she said the Cuomo administration had rebuffed a legislative request for the tally in August because “right around the same time, [then-President Donald Trump] turns this into a giant political football,” according to an audio recording of the two-hour-plus meeting.

“Because then we were in a position where we weren’t sure if what we were going to give to the Department of Justice, or what we give to you guys, what we start saying, was going to be used against us while we weren’t sure if there was going to be an investigation.”

DeRosa added: “That played a very large role into this.”

After dropping the bombshell, DeRosa asked for “a little bit of appreciation of the context” and offered what appears to be the Cuomo administration’s first apology for its handling of nursing homes amid the pandemic.

But instead of a mea culpa to the grieving family members of more than 13,000 dead seniors or the critics who say the Health Department spread COVID-19 in the care facilities with a March 25 state Health Department directive that nursing homes admit infected patients, DeRosa tried to make amends with the fellow Democrats for the political inconvenience it caused them.

“So we do apologize,” she said. “I do understand the position that you were put in. I know that it is not fair. It was not our intention to put you in that political position with the Republicans.”

Assembly Health Committee Chairman Richard Gottfried (D-Manhattan) immediately rejected DeRosa’s expression of remorse, according to the recording.

“I don’t have enough time today to explain all the reasons why I don’t give that any credit at all,” said Gottfried, one of the lawmakers who demanded the death-toll data in August. (read more)

While exercising First Amendment rights:

1. Keep your NSA tracking device (a.k.a. "adult pacifier", cell phone) at home or in a secure Faraday cage bag.

2. Always use an alias when talking to strangers. Just smile and look straight ahead if a stranger starts chatting about guns or wants to know (directly or indirectly) how many guns you have. Don't give him your name or phone number.

3. Obscure your face to foil face recognition software. For example, wear a balaclava, or sunglasses and fake beard, or blackface, or paint your face to look like Darth Maul.

4. Never post your exercise of First Amendment rights on social media, or tell Left-leaning relatives or acquaintances. .

5. Drive an older vehicle without GPS or "OnStar" or disable such on a newer vehicle.

6. Pay cash for drinks, snacks, etc. VISA will tell the government where you were.

7. Immediately walk away, ending any conversation with pushy strangers who want you to engage in violent or illegal acts. Said strangers probably work for the secret police. Learn about "entrapment."

HOW TO

Desiderata by Max Ehrmann

GO PLACIDLY amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Irish Democracy

Francis shows us the way.

If nothing else could have done so, this election has clarified the central political issue of our time: America’s federal government has far too much power, an incomprehensible percentage of which resides in the Oval Office. Therefore, merely saving Donald Trump’s second term is not enough.

It’s time for other measures.

According to James C. Scott as quoted by Tim Condon, “Irish democracy” consists of widespread passive resistance to the decrees of the Omnipotent State:

Quiet, anonymous, and often complicitous, lawbreaking and disobedience may well be the historically preferred mode of political action for peasant and subaltern classes, for whom open defiance is too dangerous….One need not have an actual conspiracy to achieve the practical effects of a conspiracy. More regimes have been brought, piecemeal, to their knees by what was once called “Irish Democracy”—the silent, dogged resistance, withdrawal, and truculence of millions of ordinary people—than by revolutionary vanguards or rioting mobs.

The premise behind “Irish Democracy” is that the State lacks the enforcement power to have its way with millions upon millions of rebels. It’s Mohandas Gandhi’s strategy, albeit without his overt confrontations with the institutions of government. “You can ignore the State and do as you please, as long as you keep your head down.”

Removing the overt confrontations makes “Irish Democracy” much safer than any other form of rebellion. The State needs conspicuous, targetable rebels. It cannot use terror of its forces without someone to turn into an “example.” No conspicuous rebels means nothing for the State to crucify for the edification of the public. As we mathematical types like to say, quod erat demonstrandum.

I could go on about this, but I don’t think there’s a need. The implications are fairly plain. If you deem the governments of these United States to have become illegitimate, you might find the notion of “Irish Democracy” attractive. Think about the observations above. Think about how you could arrange your affairs so as to dismiss the demands of the State while remaining free of its scrutiny. While it would be harder for some than for others, millions of Americans and their enterprises could contrive to ignore the demands and decrees of the governments that claim “authority” over us.

There are other approaches of varying appeal, such as “going Galt.” They amount to the same thing: rebellion without the need to load the magazines and man the barricades. Choose the course that best accords with your tastes.

Lately I’ve discussed with friends an old maxim of my own devising, to wit: Revolution is not an event; it’s a process. Although it might feel in certain times and circumstances as if a violent uprising is imminent, I don’t think its hot breath is on American necks just yet. From the long-view vantage point of the historical record, revolutions and civil wars are a long time a-brewing before coming to full boil, although we often come to perceive things differently in hindsight.

It appears that the most hot-blooded among us expect the shooting to start in earnest on January 6th, surely no later than the 21st in the wake of the Usurper Biden’s “inauguration.” Myself, I expect that they’ll be disappointed. I repeat: process, not event. And as revolutionary process goes, it’s still early days yet.

There’s no denying that sufficient provocation has been inflicted on Real Americans to ignite a real conflagration, particularly over the past year. Likewise is there no credible argument to be made that the current federal Leviathan is even remotely in accord with the principles set down in our Constitution and Declaration of Independence. It’s probably the most dead-cert truthful bumper sticker slogan there ever was: the Founders would have been shooting already.

Still, it’s more than likely that we have several intermediate stages to muddle through before upheaval is general and ordinary, peace-loving Joe Normie—however ferocious his patriotism—finds himself prepared to peer through a 4x Leupold at the shitlib next door, fully and firmly intent on doing him grievous bodily harm. Joe’s patience will always outstrip his battle-wrath, even when the danger of losing all is clear and growing. For that, we should all probably be thankful. The time will come soon enough for Joe to shed his civilized reluctance and wreak vengeance on his tormentors. If you doubt his will to stand and deliver, remember your Kipling:

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late
With long arrears to make good,
When the English began to hate.

They were not easily moved,
They were icy-willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the English began to hate.

Their voices were even and low,
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show,
When the English began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd,
It was not taught by the State.
No man spoke it aloud,
When the English began to hate.

It was not suddenly bred,
It will not swiftly abate,
Through the chill years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the English began to hate.

"There are no white hats coming to save us. It is now up to millions of truculent, disagreeable, angry, deplorable citizens to undermine the establishment and force this empire built on a foundation of unpayable debt to collapse. "
+
"This war is winnable if we use Irish Democracy and Going Galt tactics and out-think our narcissist, intellectually deficient, liberal arts major enemies."

A STRANGE GAME (PART TWO)

... The concept of passive resistance has existed in various forms for centuries and has been used effectively in toppling enemies. A few weeks ago I was introduced to a concept I had never heard before in Doug Lynn’s article, Fair is Foul and Foul is Fair: Hover Through the Fog and Filthy Air. The passage below references “Irish Democracy” as a method for bringing an authoritarian regime to their knees.

The description of Irish Democracy was put forth by Yale professor James C. Scott in his book, Two Cheers for Anarchism.

“Quiet, anonymous, and often complicitous, lawbreaking and disobedience may well be the historically preferred mode of political action for peasant and subaltern classes, for whom open defiance is too dangerous. One need not have an actual conspiracy to achieve the practical effects of a conspiracy.”

Widespread non-coordinated resistance to the mandates and dictates of a totalitarian state can succeed, as millions of individual actions result in having an overwhelming cumulative negative impact on the state’s functioning. As Scott reflects, the state needs conspicuous targetable enemies, which we have clearly seen, as this fledgling communist regime continues to promote the white supremacist insurrection fabrication and Trump’s guilt in provoking pretend Vikings to steal podiums and take selfies in Pelosi’s office.

The goal of these mendacious totalitarians is to provoke Trump supporters into a violent response, so they can usher in their Domestic Terrorism Act (Patriot Act 2.0) and implement a modern-day techno gulag solution. We cannot take the bait. It is time to arrange our affairs in such a way that denies the State their claimed piece of your pie, while doing so in such a way the State does not scrutinize your “unlawful” acts. Ignoring ridiculous decrees, demands, and laws are the duty of every right-thinking American.

As the cancel culture social justice warriors seek their next prominent victim to crucify across their media empire, it behooves us “little people” to deny them the satisfaction of ruining our lives. They want nothing more than to de-platform you, get you fired from your job, and destroy your reputation. This is where Irish Democracy, Going Galt, and numerous other variations of these strategies, along with heeding the wisdom Sun Tzu, need to be utilized to defeat our now firmly entrenched enemy.

There are no white hats coming to save us. It is now up to millions of truculent, disagreeable, angry, deplorable citizens to undermine the establishment and force this empire built on a foundation of unpayable debt to collapse. It might seem like a daunting task, but each individual act of resistance is like a grain of sand added to the unstable pile. No one knows which grain will trigger the catastrophic failure of the system. We are all capable of becoming the straw that broke the camel’s back.

John Galt’s speech in Ayn Rand’s, Atlas Shrugged. is over 33 thousand words, but these passages capture the essence of Going Galt:

“For twelve years, you have been asking: Who is John Galt? This is John Galt speaking. I am the man who loves his life. I am the man who does not sacrifice his love or his values. I am the man who has deprived you of victims and thus has destroyed your world, and if you wish to know why you are perishing—you who dread knowledge—I am the man who will now tell you.

You have heard it said that this is an age of moral crisis. You have said it yourself, half in fear, half in hope that the words had no meaning. You have cried that man’s sins are destroying the world and you have cursed human nature for its unwillingness to practice the virtues you demanded. Since virtue, to you, consists of sacrifice, you have demanded more sacrifices at every successive disaster. In the name of a return to morality, you have sacrificed all those evils which you held as the cause of your plight. You have sacrificed justice to mercy. You have sacrificed independence to unity. You have sacrificed reason to faith. You have sacrificed wealth to need. You have sacrificed self-esteem to self-denial. You have sacrificed happiness to duty.

You will win when you are ready to pronounce the oath I have taken at the start of my battle—and for those who wish to know the day of my return, I shall now repeat it to the hearing of the world:

I swear—by my life and my love of it—that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.”

The key point is to deprive the Marxist/Deep State/Oligarchy of victims who they can use to further their warped, non-sensical, totalitarian agenda of control, force and wealth extraction for the greater good – of the oligarchs. They create a crisis with their laws, regulations, legislation, mandates, executive orders, and decrees and then make it far worse with their “solutions”, while demanding more sacrifices by the little people to keep their sinking ship afloat. This is their Achilles heel.

If millions of individuals Go Galt and Starve the Beast, one transaction at a time, withdrawing our consent because we believe those governing us are illegitimate, the State lacks the enforcement power and means to punish people they cannot find or identify as criminals. This is guerilla warfare in a modern technological dystopian world. Each of us has different life circumstances, financial capacity, and constraints, but everyone can contribute something to toppling our oppressors. Here are some thoughts. I am sure you can creatively add to this list:

•Reduce your taxable footprint as much as possible, rendering as little to Caesar as possible. Spending less deprives them of sales tax.
•Do home improvement projects yourself and buy supplies from local retailers, rather than big box mega-stores.
•Don’t buy anything from Amazon. If you are still on Facebook or Twitter, depart for a platform that does not censor. Don’t use Google for searches. Cancel Netflix and Amazon Prime.
•Boycott any organization pushing the BLM agenda or critical race theory.
•Take a course or two at the local tech school in electrical, plumbing, or other practical skill, so you can do it yourself.
•No matter how small your plot of land, learn to grow some food – the more the better. See if hydroponics is possible. Deny the mega-food industry your business.
•Make friends with local farmers, source meat, eggs, corn, milk, etc. from them and pay in cash. The government cannot track the transaction.
•If you need to utilize a contractor, landscaper, painter, etc. find a local guy and pay in cash. They often will give a discount and the government will not get their slice.
•If your circumstances warrant, bartering with locals can satisfy the needs of both parties and keeps the government out of your business.
•Only frequent small family-owned restaurants and always pay in cash, including the tip for your waitress. The government will absolutely get their slice if you pay using a credit card.
•If you have money in a Wall Street bank, withdraw it and put it in credit union or small local bank.
•Do not carry any credit card debt. Pay down your mortgage. Do not borrow to buy a new car. Buy a used car.
•Reduce your driving, not to save the environment, but to deny the State gasoline taxes and toll revenue.
•If possible, own some precious metals, in preparation for the inevitable collapse of the USD. Crypto currencies may also be a hedge but may be too risky for most people.
•Learn how to communicate with allies using encrypted messaging.
•Don’t wear a mask or get the experimental DNA altering jab. Ridicule those who do.
•The IRS is a dysfunctional, understaffed, bureaucratic calamity of an organization. You are small potatoes. They don’t have the resources to check whether your return is accurate. If the Fed can print $4 trillion out of thin air, why do they need your taxes anyway. Act accordingly.
•If you live in an urban area, and have the means, get the hell out, preferably to a rural area inhabited by like- minded people.
•If you live in a blue state or blue county, and can do so, move to a red state or red county. As states raise income tax rates, move to states with little or no income taxes. PA governor Wolf just proposed increasing the state income tax by 46% to give my money to teachers’ unions. Florida is looking awfully inviting.
•With federal, state and local taxes surely going to rise, if you are near retirement, and can afford to, just drop out now and stop paying income taxes.
•As these Going Galt actions are sure to infuriate those wielding power, make sure you are armed, have firearms training, and have a sufficient supply of ammo. Be mentally prepared to defend your homestead.

Some of these actions are easier than others, but they would all contribute to an undetected rebellion against the State. If you are interested in going full Galt, this article from Marc Moran (aka Hardscrabble Farmer) –  Five Things To Do When Going Galt –details his family’s journey from being trapped in the Matrix to the freedom of controlling your own destiny – also known as the liberty to live life as you choose.

None of what I’ve described is easy, but direct confrontation would be futile, as the majority of sheep would support the government because they are incapable of critical thought, distracted by their technological gadgets, and fearful of their own shadows. Since there is no doubt we are already at war, as the new regime has already classified us as domestic terrorists, we should heed the wisdom of Sun Tzu in confronting the enemy.

“If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him.  Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.”
― Sun Tzu, The Art of War

“The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.”
― Sun Tzu, The Art of War

If ever an opponent had a choleric temper it is the Marxist regime currently in power, with the hateful Pelosi, wrathful Schumer, venomous AOC, angry Biden, malevolent Harris, and malicious Deep State apparatchiks easily irritated and can be goaded into making irrational decisions. Their arrogance, lack of self-awareness, and continuous barefaced hypocrisy, leaves them exposed to ridicule and scorn on a daily basis, which makes them angrier and more susceptible to contempt and mockery from their opponents.

There is no need to interrupt the enemy when they continue to issue executive orders and pass legislation which will have disastrous consequences. Even though the Reddit guys eventually had their asses handed to them, they proved a strategized sneak attack by the little guys could create havoc and disarray on Wall Street. The entire episode tore back the curtain and revealed the game is perpetually rigged in favor of billionaire hedge fund managers and the Wall Street cabal.

This war is winnable if we use Irish Democracy and Going Galt tactics and out-think our narcissist, intellectually deficient, liberal arts major enemies. The danger is when they become frustrated by being out-smarted and out-maneuvered, they will lash out violently against men who just want to be left alone to live their lives as free men. When the financial system implodes, and it certainly will, they will attempt to scapegoat the deplorables.

If they endeavor to violently enforce their mandates, they will unleash hardened men who will give no quarter in inflicting their vengeance upon those who chose not to leave them to peacefully liver their lives. The electrical grid and government computer systems are highly susceptible to attack. Strategic strikes of truckers could create food shortages in a matter of days in Democrat run urban enclaves of peaceful protests.

The 300 million guns in this country are owned by men who know how to use them. These political animals will pay a dear price for awakening the inner Outlaw Josey Wales in millions of angry men. This unattributed quote captures what will happen when they push us too far.

“The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of ‘Men who wanted to be left Alone’.

They try, so very hard to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love.

They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it.

They know the moment they fight back, the lives as they have lived them, are over.

The moment the ‘Men who wanted to be left Alone’ are forced to fight back, it is a small form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be.

Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these ‘Men who wanted to be left Alone’, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives.

They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror.

TRUE TERROR will arrive at the Left’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy, but it will fall upon deaf ears.” (read more)

DOSE OF REALITY I
"But hubris, arrogance and pride are always the Achilles heel of sociopaths, believing they know what is best for humanity while inflicting their lunatic solutions upon their subjects."

A STRANGE GAME (PART ONE)

The takeover of the country by an amalgamation of bad characters representing fascist corporatism, collectivism, billionaire oligarchs, social media tyrants, pandemic peddlers, and Deep State snake oil surveillance state salesmen has marked a turning point for the country. Battle lines are being drawn, a propaganda war is already being waged, enemies are preparing for conflict, rage is rising, and the country is headed towards some level of dissolution.

Events since the inception of the release of the China virus from the Wuhan bio-weapon lab, have been accelerating towards an epic struggle between those constituting the true power in the country and those they consider deplorable and undeserving of respect or a voice in how the country is governed. The shadowy figures behind the curtain of Bernays’ invisible government have revealed themselves and no longer fear the plebs they rule over, as their sociopathic hubris has convinced themselves they are invincible.

They have been emboldened by the success they have achieved in engineering a takeover of the government through weaponizing a flu to coerce politicians into shutting down the nation; utilizing propaganda to induce the majority of Americans to cower in fear from a virus that is highly non-lethal (99.7% survival rate) to anyone under 80; destroying hundreds of thousands of small businesses while enriching mega-corporations; successfully rigging a presidential election through mail-in ballot fraud and vote machine machinations; provoking a fake race crisis using BLM and ANTIFA useful idiots; profiting to the tune of trillions from the Fed money printing operation; suppressing free speech and medical truths about the virus through social media censorship; setting up Trump supporters as dangerous insurrectionists with the Capital farce, subsequent white supremacist storyline, and militarization of Washington DC to complete the false narrative; and now having their empty vessel pretend president signing executive orders to pull the country hard left; with Supreme Court packing, DC and Puerto Rico statehood on the docket; and Domestic Terrorism legislation to make all Trump supporters enemies of the state.

The overlords think throwing $600 at the plebs every six months, while allowing them a pittance of unemployment crumbs, will keep them sedated as long as they have their iGadgets to keep them distracted. The unholy triumvirate of Big Tech, Big Pharma and Big Gov are generating tens of billions by peddling a DNA altering experimental rushed vaccine, that isn’t really a vaccine and doesn’t really keep you from getting Covid or spreading it further. We also don’t know the long-term consequences of this “medicine”. And it seems the triumvirate is doing their best to cover up the adverse reactions being reported, miscarriages and numerous deaths of nursing home patients shortly after getting the jab.

The blizzard of lies about the effectiveness of face diapers and lockdowns from “medical experts”, “journalists”, corporate media propagandists, and government apparatchiks has been relentless. These fabricators bloviate about following the science while ignoring the facts proving masks and lockdowns DO NOT WORK and ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine DO WORK. The level of deceit and deception being applied by those in power is drastically increasing the anger and rage in the country towards authority.

The country is already at war, even though many don’t know it, and the Deep State/Oligarchs are clearly winning. This begs the question, how can you defeat an enemy who controls the presidency, congress, mainstream media, social media, major cities, major states, the military, FBI, CIA, DOJ, and the courts? The truth is they think they’ve already won the war and will dictate the terms we will be forced to live by.

But hubris, arrogance and pride are always the Achilles heel of sociopaths, believing they know what is best for humanity while inflicting their lunatic solutions upon their subjects. The feeling among millions of Americans is they have either been abandoned, stabbed in the back, or robbed. They aren’t exactly sure who to blame, who to trust, or who to fight, but they are trying to figure out the best course of action, given the current circumstances.

I was reminded of the 1983 movie – WarGames – while we were still in the midst of the real Cold War with Russia, when nuclear annihilation was actually a possibility. Considering those running the show have been pimping the fake Russiagate charade for the last four years and continue to provoke Putin, the message of the movie has never been more applicable. We are surely in a strange game, where all outcomes are likely to be horrible for all the players. In the movie, the United States nuclear launch control is given to a NORAD supercomputer known as WOPR (War Operation Plan Response).

It is programmed to continuously run war simulations, learn over time, and concoct the best plan of attack if nuclear retaliation is needed. A young computer hacker unwittingly hacks into WOPR and causes the computer to think the Soviet Union has launched missiles at the United States. The humans attempt to regain control over WOPR, but it has learned how to bypass the manual controls put into place to avoid an accidental nuclear war. The computer obtains the launch codes and starts a countdown to a massive missile launch that would start World War III and result in the end of humanity.

The creator of the code and the hacker realize they have to teach WOPR why launching the missiles would be futile. They direct the computer to play tic-tac-toe against itself. This results in a long string of draws, forcing the computer to learn the concept of futility and no-win scenarios. WOPR obtains the launch codes, but before launching, it cycles through all the nuclear war scenarios it has devised, finding they all result in draws as well.

Having discovered the concept of mutual assured destruction (“WINNER: NONE”), the computer tells them it has concluded nuclear war is “A STRANGE GAME” in which “the only winning move is not to play.” It’s amazing how a movie was able to capture the enormous power and extraordinary danger of computer algorithms decades before the country had been hijacked by Big Tech companies using the power of their computer platforms and manipulating algorithms to hijack elections, censor opinions contrary to the approved Deep State narrative, and creating conflict through fake news and engineered storylines.

I, along with millions of the new resistance, consider Basement Biden an illegitimate president, installed as a Chinese controlled Manchurian candidate to complete the final shredding of the Constitution and surrender to globalist oligarchs. In Biden’s case, he’s more like a Senile-churian candidate who will sign anything his handlers place in front of him and pathetically attempt to say whatever they put on his teleprompter, before he has to take a nap. The first couple weeks of the new Susan Rice/Barack Obama administration has been as bad as expected, with dozens of executive orders reversing all Trump’s executive orders and implementing everything the far left was demanding, as their useful ANTIFA and BLM idiots continue to burn cities and riot for no particular reason.

It is undeniably clear the Biden administration, entirely controlled by the Big Tech/Big Pharma/Deep State co-conspirators, are going to ram through a far-left agenda with breathtaking speed, as they have no qualms about shredding the Constitution or remorselessly crushing their enemies under a barrage of pre-written bills and relentless propaganda about the danger of a white supremacist overthrow of the government flogged by their legacy media and social media arms.

Many dejected Trump supporters, along with the millions who didn’t care for Biden or Trump, are now angry the Biden handlers, led by Susan Rice, are actually implementing everything they said they would. Trump’s Executive Orders were not law and are being disposed of by the flick of a pen. Allowing presidents this monarchical power is absurd, and reflects a nation is disarray and in a downward spiral. There is absolutely no one in Washington DC looking out for the long-term best interests of the citizens. It’s solely about power, control, and enrichment of themselves and the oligarchs who put them in power.

Not one decision is being made looking out further than the next election, as these corrupt captured faux representatives divvy up the spoils, as the country spirals further into debt, while the Fed printed 40% of all the money ever printed in U.S. history during 2020 – with 2021 on its way to new records. The insanity of the monetary and fiscal decisions being made by Powell, Yellen, Biden and a congress filled with narcissistic myopic mathematically retarded troglodytes is enough to make a sane, rational, critical thinking American scream in agony at the devastation, strife and economic wasteland we are leaving for future generations.

I find myself increasingly ignoring the daily blather of posing politicians, fake news pundits, “medical experts”, self-styled financial gurus, twitterati, and government drones. Why should I get outraged on a daily basis by the actions of a presidential administration I consider illegitimate and central bankers doing the bidding of the oligarchy, as always? At this point I feel like blurting out Crooked Hillary’s famous angry outburst during the Benghazi hearing – “What difference at this point does it make?”.

I know there are many still believing, if the GOP can just win back the house and/or senate in 2022, they can get the country back on course. Others are waiting for the victorious return of Trump in 2024 like MacArthur’s “I shall return” moment in the Philippines. Some still believe the Qanon pablum and are trusting the plan. They are badly mistaken, as the country is too far gone, and must crash and burn before it can possibly be rebuilt.

I have thrown in the towel on believing we can vote our way out of this mess, as Washington DC is ruled by the Uni-Party, beholden to globalist billionaire oligarchs, the upstart Silicon Valley billionaire censorship tyrants, and the Deep State snakes surveilling all our communications and controlling the narrative through propaganda and suppression of our First Amendment rights. This engineered pandemic panic has been a test run to see how far they could go in using fear to make millions cower and applaud their rights being stripped in the name of safety and security.

The wolves are salivating, as we have proven ourselves to be a nation of masked obedient sheep, begging to be led to slaughter. While the Fed prints prosperity for the .1% by driving the stock market to astronomical heights, the average American is seeing their daily living expenses jump by 5% to 10% (as the BLS reports 1.4% inflation), and their jobs disappear (as the BLS reports 6.3% unemployment when 111 million out of 261 million working age Americans are not working).

The building anger in the country is palpable. The question is how do you fight an enemy with overwhelming superiority in financial resources, police and military forces, corporate media outlets, social media platforms, the financial system, intel agencies, and all branches of the government? This question is what made me recall the WarGames final scene. The only winning move is not to play. Direct confrontation is destined for failure.

The only way to defeat this enemy is through guile, cunning, patience, and persistence. The same method of resistance will not work for all people. Everyone’s individual circumstances will dictate how they resist. There doesn’t need to be a central commander or massed forces. Differing versions of guerrilla warfare will suffice. The enemy is a bureaucratic behemoth, slow and unwieldy, led by arrogant mediocrities, unable to strategize their way out of a wet paper bag. They know only how to use force and threats to achieve their despicable ends. (read more)

Close the windows so you don't hear the mockingbird outside, grab a beer, and see what the hell is going on as we witness the controlled demolition of our society.

- The truth usually comes from one source. It comes quietly, with no heralds. Untruths come from multiple sources, in unison, and incessantly.
