Jan. 6 Committee Ignores Clear Evidence Of Mass Illegal Voting, Systematically Broken Election Laws

The Jan. 6 Committee completely sidestepped the verifiable evidence of systemic violations of election law, illegal voting, and more.

In its attempt to blame former President Donald Trump for the crimes committed on January 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol, House Democrats have spent the week focused on Trump’s unsupported claims of widespread election fraud. The Jan. 6 select committee and the legacy media outlets promoting the show trial completely ignore, however, the verifiable evidence of systemic violations of election law, illegal voting, and the constitutionally deficient execution of the November 2020 election—including issues Trump challenged following the election.

Georgia provides a peach of an example. President Biden won Georgia and the state’s 16 electoral votes by a margin of 11,779 individual votes, but before the state certified the results of the November 2020 election, Trump challenged the outcome, raising several issues both in and out of court. Trump hammered accusations of fraud in Fulton County, claiming counterfeit ballots secreted in suitcases and vote-flipping by Dominion Voting Systems gave Biden the victory. But Trump also contested the Georgia results based on evidence indicating that tens of thousands of illegal votes were improperly counted.

While Trump’s legal team argued illegal votes in some 30-plus categories were improperly included in the final election tally, violations of Section 21-2-218 of the Georgia election code alone closed the gap between the two presidential candidates. That section provides that state “residents must vote in the county in which they reside, unless they changed their residence within 30 days of the election” and “outside of the 30-day grace period, if people vote in a county in which they no longer reside, ‘their vote in that county would be illegal.’”

Shortly after the November general election, Mark Davis, the president of Data Productions Inc. and an expert in voter data analytics and residency issues, compared voting records obtained from the Georgia secretary of state’s office with the National Change of Address (NCOA) database. After excluding individuals who moved within 30 days of the general election, Davis “identified nearly 35,000 Georgia voters who indicated they had moved from one Georgia county to another, but then voted in the 2020 general election in the county from which they had moved.”

Trump highlighted this evidence during a telephone conversation with Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. His election lawyers, he said, noted from that data they “have actually hard numbers” of tens of thousands of votes that were counted illegally, and that with the margin of victory less than 12,000, “that in and of itself is sufficient to change the results or place the outcome in doubt.”

The lawyers explained that they “would like to sit down with your office . . . if you are able to establish that our numbers are not accurate, then fine.” While the secretary of state’s representative indicated he was “happy to get with our lawyers and we’ll set that up,” Cleta Mitchell, one of Trump’s election lawyers, told The Federalist that meeting never happened.

“We had tried for weeks to get the secretary of state to sit down with us to review the data,” Mitchell said, noting that Raffensperger just kept saying the Trump campaign’s data was wrong and, “We said, ‘Show us, then, where it is wrong.’”

But instead of meeting, according to Mitchell, the day after their call with the secretary of state’s office, lawyers sent Trump’s legal team “a very nasty letter saying they wouldn’t give us any data until we dismissed all pending litigation.” Then, after Trump’s team dismissed the lawsuit following Senate candidate Kelly Loeffler’s withdrawal of her objections to the Georgia electors and asked for the promised meeting to review the data, the secretary of state’s office withdrew the offer, Mitchell told The Federalist.

While Trump’s legal team was unable to either present their evidence in court or secure a meeting with the Georgia secretary of state’s office to compare the data, Davis continued to pursue out-of-county illegal voting. Last year, Davis told The Federalist that in May 2021, he obtained an updated voter database from the secretary of state’s office and compared that data to the NCOA information he had processed in November.

As I reported at the time: “When Davis ran the data, he found that, of the approximately 35,000 Georgians who indicated they had moved from one county to another county more than 30 days before the November general election, as of May, more than 10,300 had updated their voter registration information, providing the secretary of state the exact address they had previously provided to the USPS. Those same 10,000-plus individuals all also cast ballots in the county in which they had previously lived.”

Davis’s follow-up analysis provided solid evidence that there were enough votes cast illegally in a county in which the citizens no longer resided to equal the margin separating Trump and Biden. And that was but one category of illegal votes identified by Trump’s legal team.

Mitchell, now a senior legal fellow at the Conservative Partnership Institute, told The Federalist that in addition to the individuals who moved out of a county more than 30 days before the election and then voted illegally in their prior county, Trump’s legal team identified an additional 30-plus categories of illegal votes that were wrongly included in the certified totals.

“We never were able to present our evidence to the court, however, because the chief judge of Fulton County, Chris Brasher, failed to appoint a judge eligible to hear the election contest for a month,” Mitchell said.

None of those 30-plus categories involved the Dominion Voting System, claims of counterfeit votes, or ballot harvesting, but concerned specific violations of the Georgia election code. And those numbers far exceeded Biden’s 11,779-vote margin of victory.

Yet the January 6 Committee and their cohorts in the press cast all the challenges to the November 2020 tabulations as crazy conspiracy theories of fraud peddled by Trump to steal the election.

The same anti-Trump media lied about Trump’s telephone call with Raffensperger, falsely telling the country that Trump had “pressured the Georgia Secretary of State’s chief investigator Frances Watson” to “find the fraud,” promising that she would soon be a “national hero.” But two months later, when the transcript of the call was released, it became clear that Trump was speaking of establishing there were 11,780 illegal votes from the various categories identified by his lawyers.

“The fact is we had already found many more illegal votes than the margin (11,779),” Mitchell told The Federalist, “We didn’t need to ‘find’ anything.” “We already knew which votes were illegal and had been included in the certified total,” the election lawyer said, stressing that, under Georgia law, if the “evidence established that there are more illegal or irregular votes than the margin of victory, the remedy is a new election.”

Last July, the secretary of state’s office confirmed to The Federalist that its “investigation into the approximately 35,000 residents who moved from one county to another more than 30 days before the election remain[ed] ongoing.” But follow-up outreaches to Raffensperger and key members of his staff inquiring on the status of the investigation went unanswered.

Meanwhile, the Jan. 6 Committee continues to spin challenges to the November 2020 election as concerning nothing but nonsensical claims of voter fraud. With the corrupt media’s cooperation, the vast majority of Americans may never learn of the systemic violations of election law, illegal voting, and the disparate treatment of voters in violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution, the latter seen most clearly with the infiltration of funding from Mark Zuckerberg to targeted Democratic-heavy populations.

Heck, it’s unlikely most members of Congress know of these systemic problems with our electoral system. But with midterms around the corner and Democrats likely facing a bloodbath, don’t be surprised if left-leaning politicians and their friends in the press discover substantial problems in about five months’ time. Sen. John Cornyn Booed At Texas GOP Convention Over Willingness To Surrender To Democrats On Guns

Republican Sen. John Cornyn was booed by constituents in his home state at the Texas GOP convention on Friday for his role in leading negotiations with Democrats on federal gun restriction legislation.

From the moment Cornyn, one of 11 Republican senators including Senate Minority Mitch McConnell who have agreed to surrender to Democrats’ demands to impede the sale and purchase of guns, set foot on the GOP stage in Houston, he was met with hostile boos and jeers denouncing his support for a “bipartisan” bill that will likely include sweeping and constitutionally questionable measures such as problematic red flag laws.

During his speech littered with heckling, Cornyn once again found it difficult to praise the legislation created by Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy and instead opted to list off all of the proposals that he worked to exclude from the legislation.

“Democrats pushed for an assault weapons ban, I said no,” Cornyn said. “They tried to get a new three-week mandatory waiting period for all gun purchases, I said no. Universal background checks, magazine bans, licensing requirements, the list goes on and on and on. And I said no, no, 1,000 times no.”

Cornyn’s claims that he “will not under any circumstances support new restrictions for law-abiding citizens” were promptly rejected by the hostile crowd in the Lone Star State who repeatedly chanted “no red flags” and “don’t take our guns.”

The Federalist tried to reach Cornyn by calling his D.C. office, but the voicemail box was full. His communications director did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment.

Cornyn took fire earlier this week from the Republican Party of Texas’ Platform Committee which unanimously approved a resolution rebuking Cornyn and every other Republican who voiced support for “the Gang of 20 Gun Control bill.”

In the past, Cornyn has bragged about his A+ rating from the National Rifle Association but the Republican resolution stated that raising the gun purchasing age, instituting red flag laws, and mandating waiting periods “is a violation of the Second Amendment and our God given rights.”

After facing backlash from his party and his state, Cornyn recently signaled a hesitancy to sign the gun restriction legislation due to concerns over the “boyfriend loophole,” a provision that expands current law to ban boyfriends and girlfriends convicted of domestic violence from obtaining a gun, and a provision that could withhold funds from states that don’t pass red flag laws. Apparently, California congressman Adam Schiff was helping the television crew to break the law.  The group reportedly banged on doors of several Republican offices –  including that of Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, Jim Jordan of Ohio and Lauren Boebert of Colorado — as they allegedly filmed a skit for Colbert’s “Late Show” program that was to center around the January 6 hearings.  The incident was covered by Jesse Watters on his broadcast this evening. Over the past decade, the Pritzkers of Illinois, who helped put Barack Obama in the White House and include among their number former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, current Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, and philanthropist Jennifer Pritzker, appear to have used a family philanthropic apparatus to drive an ideology and practice of disembodiment into our medical, legal, cultural, and educational institutions.

Discrimination and Gay Suicide Rates

In this article I will argue that discrimination is at best a very partial explanation of why it is that gay people have higher rates of suicide than do straight people.

To begin with, it’s worth noting that most acts which constitute discrimination, ostracizing someone, insulting someone, emotionally or physically hurting someone, etc., are essentially forms of bullying. This fact matters because even though there is a substantial correlation between bullying and suicide rates the causal relationship between bullying and suicide is much weaker than this correlation suggests. To be specific, a one standard deviation increase in bullying predicts a 68% increase in the odds of someone attempting suicide. However, if you use a twin study design to control for genes and the family environment, and also control for psychopathology that pre-existed the bullying, we find that a one standard deviation increase in bullying only predicts a 25% increase in the odds of attempting suicide (Oreilly et al., 2021). Thus, only roughly a third (37%) of the commonly noted association between bullying and suicide is plausibly causal.

As we will see below, sexual minorities attempt suicide at a rate that is at least three times the rate at which heterosexuals attempt suicide. Given the weak causal impact that bullying has on suicide, for bullying to explain the elevated LGB suicide rate the average LGB person would need to be bullied at a level that fewer than one in one hundred thousand heterosexuals are. This is obviously completely implausible.

In fact, a meta-analysis of 15 studies found the vast majority (74%) of LGBT youth (age: 12 – 25) who have attempted suicide answer “no” when asked if they’ve personally been the victim of various sorts of anti-LGBT discrimination and bullying (Williams et al., 2021). And of course even for the 26% that did report having been victimized we can’t assume that this victimization caused their suicide attempt since, as already seen, the relationship between bullying and suicide is mostly non-causal.

That discrimination does not completely explain gay suicide rates is also evidenced by several studies finding that sexual orientation continues to be a risk factor for suicide after self reported victimization is controlled for.

For instance,  Garofalo et al. (1999) found that homosexuality continues to be a risk factor for attempting suicide after controlling for drug use and a scale measuring the degree to which one has been the victim of violence.

Similarly, Shields et al. (2012) analyzed data on 2,154 students attending high-school in San Francisco and found that LGB sexual orientation was associated with a 2.6 times elevated risk for suicide even after controlling for self reported victimization, race, gender, and drug use. Finally, Ballard et al. (2016) found that LGB status significantly predicted drug use and suicide risk even after controlling for self reported victimization in a large sample of American gay youth living in Appalachia.

It is also worth noting that the suicide rate of homosexuals is far greater than average even when only looking at those homosexuals who claim to have not significantly been victimized by discrimination. For instance, Ferlatte et al. (2015) analyzed data on 8,382 gay Canadian men and asked their participants about experiences of bullying, sexual violence, verbal abuse, physical violence, and discrimination at work. While experiences of marginalization correlated with suicidal behavior, the rate of suicidal ideation among those who reported having experienced no discrimination was roughly twice than of heterosexual Canadian men.

Similarly, Russell et al. (2010) found a very high rate of suicide attempt even among gay adolescents who self reported having experienced low levels of LGBT related school victimization.

Once again, I should add that the suicide rate of non-bullied LGB individuals should not be taken to be representative of what the LGB suicide rate would be if we got rid of discrimination because individuals who experience little bullying generally have better mental health than those who are bullied for reasons independent of bullying itself.

Another relevant observation is that the self reported happiness of homosexuals in the United States has slightly declined since the 1980s. Over the same time period we’ve seen a huge decrease in anti-gay discrimination and a large increase in gay legal rights, but all of this progress has seemingly done nothing for the psychological well being of homosexuals.

We reach a similar conclusion looking at suicide rates over time. Meyer et al. (2021) used data from a sample of 1,518 LBG American adults surveyed by Gallup. They divided their data into three age cohorts and found that the rate of life time suicide attempt had increased over time from 21% among those born in 1956-1963, to 24% among those born in 1974 – 1981, to 30% among those born in 1990-1997. The increase between the oldest and youngest cohort was statistically significant. This change is especially striking given that people born in the 50s have had far more time to accumulate a lifetime suicide attempt than have people born in the 90s.

On the whole then, the evidence suggests that the gay-straight suicide gap has probably not narrowed over time while the absolute rate of suicide among gay people has either remained the same or increased.

The suicide rates of homosexuals in gay friendly areas also gives us reason to doubt that their mental problems are entirely a result of discrimination (Caputi et al., 2017; Shields et al., 2012; Bjokenstam et al., 2016; Ferlatte et al., 2015; Meyer et al., 2008; OMH., 2016; Bergen et al., 2013).

Sexual orientation and symptoms of common mental disorder or low wellbeing: combined meta-analysis of 12 UK population health surveys

Around 1–2 % of the United Kingdom’s adult population identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual (LGB) and 5 % as non-heterosexual, although because sexual orientation comprises identity, behaviour and attraction, the chosen definition used can lead to variability in these estimates. We know that sexual minority populations experience poorer physical heath and engage in riskier health behaviours such as smoking and hazardous drinking. These inequalities may emerge in adolescence and early adulthood, then persist throughout the life-course.

Symptoms of poor mental health (e.g. anxiety, depression) and low wellbeing (e.g. not having ‘positive mental health’) are common in the adult population but there is established evidence that adults who identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual are at higher risk of experiencing these symptoms than adults who identify as heterosexual. A systematic review of the prevalence of mental disorder, substance abuse, suicidality and self-harm in LGB people showed that these populations experience a greater incidence of depression, anxiety, suicidality and substance misuse than heterosexuals. Meta-analysis following this review found that LGB people were around twice as likely to have attempted suicide in their lifetime and have around 1.5 times higher prevalence of depression and anxiety disorders in the preceding 12 months. Associations between minority sexual orientation and poorer mental health have persisted over time with recent studies showing the same effects as older studies. Such disparities are thought to emerge early in adolescence and persist into adulthood.

Of the 94,818 participants in the analytic sample (those with available data on sexual orientation identity, mental health and covariates), 97.2 % as heterosexual, 1.1 % identified as lesbian/gay, 0.9 % as bisexual and 0.8 % as ‘other’ (Table 1). People meeting the threshold of common mental disorder or low wellbeing were significantly different across all study variables (using bivariate t-test or chi-square tests): they were younger, comprised more females, and had lower levels of educational attainment, more current smokers, more longstanding illness/disability and fewer married/co-habiting participants than those below the threshold (Table 2). Significantly higher proportions of those who identified as lesbian/gay, bisexual and ‘other’ were found among those who met the mental disorder threshold.

  we are seeking public desensitization and nothing more. We do not need and cannot expect a full 'appreciation' or 'understanding' of homosexuality from the average American. You can forget about trying to persuade the masses that homosexuality is a good thing. But if only you can get them to think that it is just another thing...then your battle for legal and social rights is virtually won" (25).
• Part of the fag agenda is to get the public to affirm their filthy lifestyle, as one fag admitted in the October 1987 fag rally on Washington: "We are no longer seeking just a right to privacy and a protection from wrong. We also have a right -- as heterosexual Americans already have -- to see government and society affirm our lives" (27).
• Part of the fag agenda is to turn people from Christianity: "The teaching that only male-female sexual activity within the bounds and constraints of marriage is the only acceptable form should be reason enough for any homosexual to denounce the Christian religion" (1).
• Fags knowingly lied (and still lie) about the 10% figure (i.e., fags make up 10% of the population). As Tom Stoddard (formerly of the Lambda
  Legal Defense Fund) said, "We used that figure when most gay people were entirely hidden to try to create an impression of our numerousness" (17).

The true number of fags.

• The Kinsey study of 1948, which fags often cite to say that 10% of the population is homosexual, actually says that only 4% of the population
  is EXCLUSIVELY homosexual. This study involved a disproportionate number of people who had been in jail for sex crimes (hardly a random sample of the population). Kinsey also did perverse studies involving young boys and pedophiles.
• Current research shows that the true percentage of fags is in the 1-2% range (15,23,26,28). Consider how small this number is when compared to most of the numbers above.

Fags aren't discriminated against in employment, so why should they be a protected class?

• The average yearly income of a fag is $55,430.00 (most of which is disposable because no children to take care o!). The average of the general population is $32,144.00. The average of blacks is $12,166.00 (24).
• 59.6% of fags are college graduates. 18.0% of the general population are college graduates (24). Too bad they aren't smart enough to listen to God. "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools" (Romans 1:22).

Sexual Orientation

• A phrase that has come up recently in this earth is "sexual orientation." This is a phrase made up by fags to try to make themselves look less filthy than they really are. The purpose of the phrase is to take the spotlight from what these perverts do, and put it on the notion that they are just poor, mistreated people, who simply are attracted to members of the same sex - as if they aren't engaging in activity forbidden by God Almighty. "Sexual orientation," as used today, has nothing to do with sexual activity (yeah, right), but only refers to who or what a particular person is attracted to. If you think that people of other "sexual orientations" are just fine, let's see what other "sexual orientations" you would necessarily have to accept as wholesome and pure. If you're not going to discriminate based on "sexual orientation", then you must not discriminate against any of the following. If you discriminate against any of these, you're a hypocrite. These "sexual orientations" are generally known as "paraphilias", and are mental disorders - just like homosexuality used to be (29).
• Exhibitionism - involves people who are sexually aroused by the idea of exposing their genitals to a stranger.
• Fetishism - involves people who are sexually aroused by non-living objects.
• Frotteurism - involves people who are sexually aroused by the idea of touching and rubbing against a non-consenting person.
• Pedophilia - involves people who are sexually attracted to prepubescent children (usually 13 years or younger).
• Sexual Masochism - involves people who are sexually aroused by being "humiliated, beaten, bound, or otherwise made to suffer."
• Sexual Sadism - involves people who are sexually aroused by causing the psychological or physical suffering of a victim (e.g., "restraint, blindfolding, paddling, spanking, whipping, pinching, beating, burning, electrical shocks, rape, cutting, stabbing, strangulation, torture, mutilation, or killing").
• Transvestic Fetishism - involves people who are sexually aroused by cross-dressing.
• Voyeurism - involves people who are sexually aroused by watching unsuspecting strangers have sex.
• Telephone Scatologia - involves people who are sexually aroused by making obscene phone calls.
• Necrophilia - involves people who are sexually attracted to corpses.
• Partialism - involves people who are sexually attracted exclusively to one part of the body.
• Zoophilia - involves people who are sexually attracted to animals.
• Coprophilia - involves people who are sexually aroused by feces.
• Klismaphilia - involves people who are sexually aroused by enemas.
• Urophilia - involves people who are sexually aroused by urine.

Get Beyond the Gaslighting – Media Now Falsely Claim Biden Administration Underestimated Negative U.S. Economic Impact from Russian Sanctions

I am tired and weary of the bullshit from every side of the political continuum -particularly the professionally republican idiots- that continue to hide the reality of the situation.  We are adults, let us talk honestly in the framework of reality; that will allow prudent preparation for the massive crisis we are about to experience.

When the tenant realizes they have a leaking fish tank, they realize they are going to be financially responsible for the water damage.  The tenant concocts a plan to avoid responsibility. The tenant intentionally loosens a pipe in the bathroom creating water damage, thereby hiding the fish tank leak.

The owner is now on the hook for the repair. The tenant escapes liability.

The people behind Joe Biden knew their radical transformation of energy policy was going to create massive economic damage.

The people behind Biden used the opportunity of the Ukraine-Russia conflict to trigger economic sanctions they knew would worsen the global inflation damage they were creating through energy policy.

Economic sanctions against Russia were as used as the broken pipe in the bathroom to hide the energy policy fish tank leak.  All of the media discussing the situation are now pretending not to know this.  The conservative pundits are a combination of pretending and too stupid to actually see what is happening.

BLOOMBERG – […] There’s no sign that administration officials feel their sanctions policy was a mistake or that they want to dial back the pressure. If anything, officials have said a key US goal is to ensure Russia can’t do to other nations what it has done in Ukraine. 

But the collateral damage from the sanctions has been wider than expected. 

When the invasion began, the Biden administration believed that if penalties exempted food and energy, the impact on inflation at home would be minimal. Since then, energy and food have become key drivers of the highest US inflation rates in 40 years, a huge political liability for President Joe Biden and the Democratic party heading into November’s mid-term elections. 

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said that she “was wrong” in believing last year that inflationary pressures would pass. One of the results that she’s now seeing is related to the spike in prices due to unexpected self-sanctioning, according to one person familiar with her thinking.

So while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has urged US businesses to cease operations in Russia, telling a joint session of Congress that the Russian market was “flooded with our blood,’’ the Biden administration has been encouraging some commerce, including for agriculture, medicine and telecommunications. For instance, the US government is quietly encouraging agricultural and shipping companies to buy and carry more Russian fertilizer, according to people familiar with the efforts, as sanctions fears have led to a sharp drop in supplies, pressuring food costs. Bloomberg is running this article as a distraction, directly implying the Biden administration did not realize how much additional damage the sanctions against Russia would create.  There are many articles of a similar nature by multiple outlets.  All of them are designed to ignore the reality of the situation.

We are rapidly assembling data now that will allow us to give CTH readers a real-world estimate of just how damaging things are going to be.

Tracking raw materials, supply chain costs, distribution limits, advanced and sequential purchase orders, as well as inbound costs associated with the supply chain for essential goods and services, we are nearing enough data to make a prediction.

In the fall of 2021 CTH was able to provide a 100-day countdown window to the first major wave of inflationary impacts.  Purchase orders cycling in net terms of 30, 60, 90 or 180 days allowed us to see the increases in product costs that were aggregating in the supply chain.  Readers watched in real time as those weeks and months passed giving us the exact outcome we expected.

While we still need a little more data to make the best possible prediction for the next 120-day forecast, I am relatively certain we can give an advanced estimate today.

A current shopping cart of traditional staple items at the supermarket (full basket) is roughly $300 representing about a $75 increase in price since early January 2022.   The $300 typical basket is essentially enough product to create 10 days of multiple purpose meals for the average family (4 people).

Using that $300 basket as the new baseline, I can predict the next wave of price increases will drive that single basket cost to $500 by late fall.  This is the scale of inbound inflation that is going to arrive at approximately the same time as the mid-term election.

As you can tell, the next wave of price increases is significantly larger than the two that preceded it.  The $300 shopping cart is going to cost around $500 when all of the increased costs are fully matriculated in the retail supply chain.  This is the scale of food store inflation you should be preparing for now.  Offsetting this cost increase is the challenge you should be considering right now.

TO FIGHT INFLATION

The Fed Isn't Fighting Inflation, It's Fueling It

The media would like to believe the Fed is doing everything in its power to fight inflation, but it’s not true.

Yes, the Fed raised rates by 50 basis points in May and, yes, the Fed is trying to sound as “hawkish” as possible. But these things are designed to dupe the public not to reduce inflation. Let me explain.

The current rate of inflation in the US is 8.6%, a 40-year high.

At its May meeting, the Fed raised its target Fed Funds Rate to 1%. Here’s the scoop:

“The Federal Reserve recently announced that it’s raising interest rates by half a percentage point, bumping the federal funds rate to a target range of 0.75-1.00%.” (The Spokesman-Review)

Got that? So the Fed’s rate is still a measly 1%. That’s what the media is trying to hide from you, and that’s why you might have to read 9 or 10 articles before you find a journalist who provides you with the actual rate.

Why are they hiding the rate?

Because the rate is 7.6% below the rate of inflation, so it doesn’t do a damn thing. It’s another public relations travesty dolled-up to look like serious monetary policy. But it’s a joke, and you can see it’s a joke.

Think of it like this: If I loaned you $100 at 1% interest– but inflation was running at 8%– I would lose 7 bucks per year, right?

Right. And that’s what the Fed is doing. When interest rates are set below the rate of inflation, then the Fed loses money on every loan. In other words, the Fed is providing a subsidy to the banks for borrowing money. Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous?

How would you like a deal like that? How would you like it if the Fed paid you interest on your credit card debt? You’d probably like that, right? But—if you were honest with yourself—you’d admit that it was a “gift”, because that’s what it is, a gift. The big banks are getting another handout from Uncle Sugar. That’s the whole deal in a nutshell.

Meanwhile, you and I and the other 300 million serfs, continue to pay a hefty 18% to the banks that are being subsidized by the Federal Reserve. Sound fair?

So, how much would the Fed have to hike rates if it really wanted to do its job? Check out this clip from an article at the Chicago Booth Review:

“The usual wisdom says that to reduce inflation, the Fed must raise the nominal interest rate by more than the inflation rate. In that way, the real interest rate rises, cooling the economy.

At a minimum, then, according to the usual wisdom, the interest rate should be above 8.5 percent. Now. The Taylor rule says the interest rate should be 2 percent (the Fed’s inflation target), plus 1.5 times how much inflation exceeds 2 percent, plus the long-term real rate. That means an interest rate of around 12 percent. Yet the Fed sits, and contemplates at most a percent or two by the end of the year.” (“Why Hasn’t the Fed Done More to Fight Inflation” Chicago Booth Review)

So if the Fed was serious about fighting inflation, they would have raised rates to roughly 12%. Instead, they have decided to use their allies in the media to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes. That’s what’s going on. It’s another big snow-job. Here’s more from the Chicago Booth Review:

“… the inflationary shock we just experienced, whatever its source, together with today’s low interest rate, gives us a large negative real interest rate. That negative rate is itself additional “stimulus”: it raises output and lowers unemployment. Higher output and lower unemployment, however, raise inflation even more, relative to the large past inflation. Higher inflation means an even lower real interest rate, and more inflation still, in a never-ending spiral—until the Fed gives in, raises interest rates to much above inflation, and contains the mess with a large recession.” (“Why Hasn’t the Fed Done More to Fight Inflation” Chicago Booth Review)

So, when the Fed’s rate is lower than the rate of inflation, then inflation rises, the opposite of what we want to achieve.

Bottom line: Ultra-loose monetary policy fuels inflation and creates gigantic economy-destroying asset bubbles that wipe out trillions and ruin lives. Sound familiar?

It should. We’ve been through this drill many times before.

Here’s something else you should know: The Fed has had its foot on the gas since Lehman Brothers blew up in 2008. That’s when Fed Chair Ben Bernanke dropped rates to zero and put the printing press on “full throttle”. From that point on, the Fed has been flooding the zone with low-price liquidity that has inflated the biggest asset-price bubble of all time.

Why does everyone need to know this?

Because inflationary pressures are forcing the Fed to raise rates, but even the slightest rate-hike can touch-off firesales that impact other shadow lenders that are equally overextended triggering a daisy-chain of defaults that can domino through the system causing another financial crisis. In other words, the asset-price bubble the Fed has created with its low-rate mania is so gargantuan and unstable, that any tightening of policy can ignite a system-wide meltdown. That’s why Powell is so skittish about raising rates. It’s because he doesn’t know who the weak players are and where they are hiding. If one giant investment bank– that is drowning in red ink– suddenly goes belly-up after interest rates rise, then that bank is going to take down 20-or-so counterparties along with him. That’s the problem with today’s grossly-entangled market; the web of debt stretches across the entire system endangering even the stronger players. The last thing Powell wants to do is prick the bubble the Fed has been inflating for the last 14 years.

Did you know the Fed has purchased $9 trillion in mostly US Treasuries and Mortgage-Backed Securities since 2008?

What that means is that stock and bond prices have risen not on their growth-potential or due to basic supply-demand dynamics, but because the Fed has been actively distorting market prices to enrich its investor friends. This is how wealth is transferred to other members of the investor class, not in great bags filled with money, but through the underpricing of credit that is further amplified through dodgy debt instruments. That’s the name of the game.

Recently, the Fed has indicated that it wants to reduce its balance sheet to a more manageable size. The problem is that– just as stock prices rose when the Fed purchased USTs– so too, they will fall sharply when the Fed sells. And, that is precisely what has happened everytime the Fed has tried to shrink its balance sheet; stocks have fallen off a cliff. So, while the Fed has succeeded in pushing stock prices higher, (by purchasing $9 trillion in financial assets), it will not succeed in keeping stocks high while rolling off its prodigious asset-pile. In other words, the Fed will not be able to repeal the laws of physics.

Do you remember The stock market crash of 2020? Do you remember how it ended? Here’s a little background from an article at The Balance:

“The stock market crash of 2020 began on Monday, March 9, with history’s most significant point plunge for the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) up to that date. Two more record-setting point drops followed it on March 12 and March 16.

The stock market crash included the three worst point drops in U.S. history. The drop was caused by unbridled global fears about the spread of the coronavirus, oil price drops, and the possibility of a 2020 recession.

Although the 2020 market crash was dramatic, it didn’t last. The stock market experienced a surprising recovery, even as many areas of the U.S. economy continued to experience trouble…” (“How Does the 2020 Stock Market Crash Compare With Others?“, The Balance)

So, stocks plunged thousands of points in response to a fast-spreading pandemic that was shuddering businesses and decimating economies around the world. The media dismissed the sell-off as a “panic” but that cretainly wasn’t the case. Investors rationally concluded that economic activity was going to be gravely impacted by the virus and simply sold while they could. With no sign of a remedy or vaccine, there was no reason for optimism.

But why did the sell-off stop? That’s what we want to know. What caused investors to rethink their approach and dive back into the market headfirst?

The Fed stopped the selloff. And the announcement that stopped the bleeding was probably the most extraordinary event in the Central Bank’s long and checkered history. Because, in essence, what Fed chairman Powell said was that he would put a bottom under stock and bond prices to prevent them from falling too far. Think about that. Here we had the Fed– who poses as an impartial regulator of market activity– telling us to our faces that he plans to intervene whenever he thinks prices do not align with his expectations? In other words, the Fed promised to prevent the market from functioning according to normal supply-demand dynamics. The free market had to be sacrificed in order to prevent the inevitable losses from the pandemic. Naturally, investors loved hearing that the Fed “had their back” and stampeded back into the market money-in-hand.

And how did the Fed’s announcement impact the market?

Let’s look at the Dow Jones Industrial Average during that period.

On March 16, 2020, the Dow ended the session posting a close of 20,188.

Two years later on Jan 4, 2022, the index closed at 36,799.

In other words, the Fed’s promise to support stock prices triggered a 16 thousand point rise in the Dow in the middle of a pandemic.

Would you call that manipulation?

I would.

At the same time, the Fed expanded the range of its purchases from risk-free” Treasuries and government-backed MBS, to any manner of dodgy corporate debt or ETF that needed propping up to support the broader market. This unprecedented and dramatic intervention dispelled whatever confidence any objective observer might have had in US markets in which the manipulation is so in-your-face, that one cannot avoid the foul stench of corruption that stretches from “sea to shining sea”. The Fed has in fact become a price-fixing agency that has abandoned any restraint whatsoever. Former Fed governor Kevin Warsh anticipated this development years earlier and delivered a warning that was published in the Wall Street Journal. Here’s what he said:

“The Fed’s increased presence in the market for long-term Treasury securities also poses nontrivial risks. The Treasury market is special. It plays a unique role in the global financial system. It is a corollary to the dollar’s role as the world’s reserve currency. The prices assigned to Treasury securities–the risk-free rate–are the foundation from which the price of virtually every asset in the world is calculated. As the Fed’s balance sheet expands, it becomes more of a price maker than a price taker in the Treasury market. And if market participants come to doubt these prices — or their reliance on these prices proves fleeting — risk premiums across asset classes and geographies could move unexpectedly.” (“The New Malaise”, Kevin Warsh, Wall Street Journal)

Once again, the Fed’s balance sheet is currently $9 trillion which means that stock and bond prices are probably inflated by two or three times that amount. Why do you think stocks continued to hit new highs in the middle of a pandemic while employment, production, manufacturing, services and growth were are on life-support?

Answer—The Fed. The Fed promised to support the markets, and investors responded by buying up everything that wasn’t bolted to the floor. The plan worked like a charm.

Here’s something you won’t believe. The New York Fed– which has its own trading desk– released its annual report that includes one eye-popping paragraph “that took our breath away,” says Wall Street on Parade editor Pam Martens. Here’s more from Marten’s article:

“It reveals that the New York Fed’s trading operation … currently owns 38 percent of all outstanding U.S. Treasury Securities with 10 to 30 years remaining until maturity….

There are multiple reasons that this detail takes our breath away. First of all, the U.S. Treasury market is massive – at $22.6 trillion as of year-end 2021. That any one entity controls a big chunk of the market is deeply concerning. (The same report showed that the New York Fed’s trading desk owned 25 percent of all maturities of outstanding Treasury debt.)

The New York Fed’s trading desk owning 38 percent of the 10-30 year Treasuries is also deeply alarming because it is that maturity range that has a dramatic impact on the interest rate of the 30-year fixed-rate residential mortgage, the most popular mortgage among first-time homebuyers historically. It means t hat the New York Fed’s gobbling up of these 10-year U.S. Treasury Notes and 30-year U.S. Treasury Bonds, to the tune of 38 percent of the market, has created artificial demand for these instruments that would not otherwise exist. That, in turn, means that mortgage rates have been artificially held lower – much lower – than they would otherwise have been….” (“New York Fed Stuns with New Report: At Year End Its Trading Desk Owned 38 Percent of All 10-30 Year U.S. Treasuries”, Wall Street on Parade)

So, interest rates are rigged? Is that what she’s saying?

Sure looks like it.

If—as Marten says—“the New York Fed…currently owns 38 percent of all outstanding U.S. Treasury Securities with 10 to 30 years remaining until maturity”, then the rates on those bonds are being suppressed by an entity that is supposed to be a neutral referee not a market participant. And the implications of that are huge because these rates effect everything from buying a house to purchasing a car. But what’s more disturbing is how this activity relates to the Kevin Warsh comment:

“The Treasury market …plays a unique role in the global financial system…. The prices assigned to Treasury securities… are the foundation from which the price of virtually every asset in the world is calculated.”

What happens when Central Banks and investors around the globe realize that the world’s premier risk-free asset—the 10-year UST—is built on a foundation of pure sand? Wouldn’t that put the Treasury market and the US dollar in the crosshairs at the very same time?

It would.

Then why would the Fed engage in such risky activity?

We have to assume that they want to keep interest rates artificially low whatever the cost.

But, why?

The Fed is trying to preserve the zero-rate regime so it can continue its ultra-accommodative credit expansion that allows its wealthy constituents to rake in bigger profits than ever before. That appears to be the goal. But as inflation rises and the massive asset-price bubble grows more unstable, it’s only a matter of time before the bubble bursts and all hell breaks loose. As economist Ludwig von Mises said:

“There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved.”

Biden Senior Climate and Energy Policy Advisor Demands Social Media Companies Immediately Block Content Identifying Biden Policy as Source of Energy Inflation

There is one big problem for the people inside the [illegitimate] Biden administration executing the Green New Deal energy policy, the massive increases in energy cost including gasoline.

You see, everything is an academic estimate until the actual Green New Deal is transferred from theoretical policy into a set of actions that creates a major disruption in the economy.  As things in society start to collapse; and as people begin to really feel the inflationary consequences of the Biden energy policy in action; suddenly all of those ‘talking points’ about shutting down the fossil fuel industry take on a new meaning.   People didn’t realize the Green New Deal was going to mean $10/doz eggs, $15/gal milk, $20 happy meals at McDonalds, or $150/tank of gasoline…. Now they are paying attention.

For former EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy, the current senior climate and energy policy advisor within the White House, all of these ‘in your face‘ surfacing Green New Deal consequences have become problematic for the [illegitimate] Biden administration.  Her proposed solution, however, is rather remarkable.

In this interview discussing the skyrocketing inflation and consequences created by the Green New Deal policies, Gina McCarthy urgently begs all of the social media companies to start removing the content from American people who are giving real world examples of the pain and economic hardship they are feeling.  McCarthy says that if social media do not start to help Joe Biden hide the pain, the climate change agenda might be at risk.  WATCH [11:00 prompted].

In 2016, a meta-analysis of 27 studies estimated a rate of approx 10 per 100,000 of the population (0.01%) have a transgender diagnosis and/or surgical or hormonal treatment. In contrast 355 per 100,000 of the population(0.35%) self-identity as transgender. This means only 2.8% of the transgender community is undergoing any gender-affirming treatment with the vast majority 97.2% simply self-identity with no modifications to their sexed body whatsoever.

No one knows for sure how many transwomen keep their penis, but there are fewer than 10 surgeons in the UK who can undertake the relevant operation. Even if they each performed one operation every single day this would still only represent an absolute maximum of 3,500 surgeries each year. The actual number performed is likely to be very much smaller than this. An estimate of just a few hundred operations each year would not be unreasonable.

There is also data available from the US HERE showing that genital surgery is very rare. In this study (sampling 20% of all outpatient hospital discharges in the US) there were only a few hundred genital surgeries performed each year. (205 in 2012, 250 in 2013, 345 in 2014). This suggests that between 1000-2000 genital surgeries were performed across the whole of the US each. If the trans community in the US represents 1% of the US population this means we’d expect there to be in the region of 3 million people identifying as trans in the US. This means less than 0.1% of the trans community undergoes genital surgery each year supporting our conclusion that the vast majority of males who identify as women retain their penis. (read more)

Speaking of science fiction, Ray Blanchard of the U. of Toronto coined the term “autogynephilia” back in the 1980s to provide a scientific word for the heterosexual narcissistic fetish of a man who is sexually excited over the thought of himself as a beautiful woman. Autogynephilics hate the term because it tends to make the rest of the world laugh too hard to agree to be drafted into validating their sex fantasy. And thus the ex-men have turned their peculiarly male ferocity on those who mention that they probably aren’t really girls on the inside.

What’s striking is how much success the ex-men have had in convincing the mainstream media to not Follow The Science. For example, the Washington Post hasn’t dared use the word in a half dozen years. From the Opinion section of the Washington Post in 2016, here’s the last time “autogynephilia” or “autogynephilic” has been mentioned in the Washington Post:

The Wachowskis and the evolving media coverage of transgender people

In 2012, the movie director Lana Wachowski publicly came out as transgender during the press tour for “Cloud Atlas” and in a speech accepting the Human Rights Campaign’s Visibility Award. And last week, her sibling, Lilly Wachowski, also came out as transgender to preempt inquiries from the Daily Mail, which was pursuing the story that Lilly, who had formerly gone by the name Andy, had also transitioned.

It’s notable that both of the Wachowskis are transgender, and that their transitions immediately make them two of the most high-profile [fake] female directors in Hollywood. And Lilly’s coming-out also provides an opportune moment to look at how media coverage of transgender people has changed over the past decade.

Lana’s announcement comes shortly after the ten-year anniversary of a piece in Rolling Stone that provides a horrifying benchmark for just how far the mainstream media has evolved in its practices. Titled “The Mystery of Larry Wachowski” — the name Lana was known by publicly prior to her coming-out — the piece suggested that Lana’s transition was a form of sexual fetishism; the opening scene in the piece involves Lana visiting a Los Angeles sex club where “friends say, he liked engaging in his pastime while dressed like a woman.” It also implies that Lana’s sex life and gender identity contributed to “one of the most widely derided sequences in recent movie history,” the rave sequence from “The Matrix Reloaded.”

“Psychiatrists disagree about what forces are at work in men who cross-dress and take the ultimate step of having gender-reassignment surgery,” the piece continued. “One camp considers men of this type to have a ‘gender-identity disorder,’ to be ‘women trapped in men’s bodies.’ In recent years, another group of doctors labeled some men who demonstrate these tendencies to be autogynephiles — straight men who are essentially sexual fetishists, aroused by the thought or image of themselves as women.”

Notably, the author goes on to discuss and diagnose Lana Wachowski as the latter without providing any more context about gender dysmorphia. And in a uniquely gratuitous thread, the piece quotes a number of unflattering comments sources made about Lana’s physical appearance and gender presentation. The tone of the piece is consistent throughout: whatever is going on with Wachowski, and whatever prompted her withdrawal from public life, the reader is meant to think it’s weird and transgressive.

The journalist punched down at the poor oppressed Wachowski Siblings. How dare anyone wonder if their fetishes have contributed to their remarkable string of lousy movies that has made them 0-for the-21st Century. They are transgender and therefore they cannot be questioned.

Carolina Panthers hire NFL’s first transgender cheerleader

The first transgender cheerleader has joined an NFL team – a “big” moment that she says she hopes will inspire others on and off the gridiron.

Justine Lindsay, 29, said in an interview Saturday that she’s proud to “break down that door” for future trans athletes by joining the cheerleading squad for the Carolina Panthers’ TopCats.

“This is big,” she told BuzzFeed News. “I think more people need to see this. It’s not because I want recognition. It’s just to shed light on what’s going on in the world.”

Lindsay first publicly came out as trans when she announced on Instagram that she was joining the Panthers squad in March.

“Cats out the bag,” Lindsay’s post read. “I would like to thank the beautiful and talented dancers who supported me along the way … This is a moment I will never forget and I cannot wait to show you all what this girl has to bring.”

She said she was terrified to come out as trans online after keeping her gender identity a secret from even her best friend, whom she considers to be like a sister.

“I was so scared,” she told the outlet of the post. “There’s just some things you can’t post.”

“I just felt like when I posted it, whatever reaction I get from, everyone, it doesn’t matter,” Lindsay continued. “And then my phone started blowing up.”

Though Lindsay indicated she was t[a fake female] on her application, TopCats director Chandalae Lanouette said it was her skill as a cheerleader [and African genetics] that got her on the team.

“My goal is to create a team of individuals that are absolute fire on the field but are incredible human beings in the locker room, good friends, good people, and at the end of the day, you have to walk through the door first to get to that spot,” Lanouette told BuzzFeed.

While prepping for her tryout, Lindsay watched a reality show about the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading squad and noted how their appearance was a sizable factor during the selection process.

But Lindsay was pleased to learn when her coach could keep her bald head, which she hopes will inspire “other young [transvestites] who may be insecure rocking their bald look.

In addition to strutting her stuff on the field, Lindsay will also represent the Panthers at fundraisers and business conferences, BuzzFeed News reported.

Lindsay posted another shot of herself in Panthers gear in early April with the caption, “who’s with me?”

TAMPA BAY RAYS' MATT SILVERMAN IS AN ASSHOLE

Stigmatize, Surround, and Stomp

This past week the Tampa Bay Rays staged a Pride Night designed, as the club’s president Matt Silverman said, to show that at “our games that the LGBTQ+ community is invited, welcomed and celebrated.” And as part of the event, they asked the team’s players to wear specially designed LGBTQ+ rainbow hats during the game. 

Nice touch. Right? After all, who could be against the idea of affirming people’s right to do whatever they want with their bodies and to develop a lifestyle in consonance with those urges? Certainly not me. 

But what if it’s not that simple? What if the standard reasoning for staging such events—to promote tolerance and a respect for difference—has a darker side that no one really wants to talk about, and that very much feeds into encouraging the enormous breaches of civility that we have witnessed in our culture over the past two plus years? 

When it comes to judging electoral systems, one of the key indicators of their health is the degree to which citizens are guaranteed privacy when casting their votes. The reason is clear. Privacy and anonymity in voting insure that individual citizens can’t be singled out and punished by those in presently in power who just might not like the political program they have chosen to endorse with their votes. 

The guarantee of a secret ballot also speaks to a broader if at times less explicitly articulated democratic principle, one emphasized again and again in the work of Hannah Arendt: that there is, and should always be a clear barrier between the private and public spheres of our lives. 

Put another way, no one whom I have not voluntarily invited into my inner circle of trust should have the right to cast judgment upon me for the things I read, or the speculations I conjure while sitting in my easy chair at home. 

The only thing that should be a licit target for the praise or reproach of others is my legal, moral and intellectual comportment in the public square. 

This is why it is considered taboo, when not patently illegal, to ask certain personal questions during job interviews. 

But what happens when a powerful entity with the ability to heavily condition the lives of citizens embraces clearly ideological constructs, like say, the positive celebration of LGBTQ+ rights, or the essential infallibility of CDC guidance in public health matters, as its official policy? 

On first inspection, it would seem there is nothing to worry about. After all, what organization does not implicitly embrace some ideological posture or another? 

The problem comes when the people who have power in the organization openly demand a public affirmation of the chosen ideological construct, or more diabolically, set up a situation wherein the employee or citizen is forced to choose between violating their conscience (by publicly professing an adherence belief to which they do not subscribe) or outing themselves as a dissident to company policy, with all that that implies in terms of inviting possible reprisals from the power holders. 

This is, in effect, what was done in almost all the totalitarian dictatorships of the last century. 

And this is what the Tampa Bay Rays did to their players the other night by asking that they make a symbolic statement (through the wearing of an LGBTQ+-themed hat) in favor of a political and ideological construct that has no clear relationship to the job they were hired to do. 

As it turns out, five of the players on the team refused to do so, on the basis, it appears, of their religious beliefs. They have been widely criticized for doing so, with the NYT saying their actions “undercut” the ideological celebration planned by the ownership. 

Get it? Freedom of conscience is out. The real responsibility of the players, according to the Gray Lady, was to seamlessly parrot the wholly extraneous ideological line of their employer whether they believed in it or not. 

The truth is they should have never, ever been put in that position. 

This, just as no one on a job interview or performance review should ever be asked about the details of their religious observance, their particular political activities, or what they do in their bedroom with self or other. 

The trend toward this brand of “coerced solidarity” carries with it the additional problem of suggesting to the citizenry that  what we say or express symbolically is more important than what we do. 

I don’t know how the five players have treated the LGBTQ+ people with whom they’ve crossed paths in life. And neither, I suspect, do any of the people who are now criticizing them for their failure to publicly identify with the team’s chosen ideological program. 

While it might be striking news for the many young people who have come of age in the era of online media mobbing, it’s perfectly possible for people to have a strong moral conviction about something and treat people who in their mind violate it with kindness, courtesy and even friendship. It is also possible for a person of a particular ideological persuasion to treat someone who shares their belief system and issues all the right words and symbols used to affirm it, quite abominably. 

Why did the management of the Tampa Bay Rays seemingly feel perfectly empowered to impose a public loyalty test—one that would have been unthinkable as recently as a few years ago—upon their employees? 

Because for the last two plus years they have watched their own government, working in conjunction with a wholly co-opted media do precisely this to the US citizenry. 

Official ideological positions; that is, positions that are presented as unquestioningly good for all and thus above debate now regularly emanate from our government and have their effectively transcendent status vigorously defended by the media. The process looks something like this. 

1. First comes a policy which, as I have said, is described by the government and its media handmaidens as being resolutely for the common good, and as such, beyond any reasoned debate regarding its advisability and efficacy. 

2. A talisman is developed and deployed (a useless mask, a vaccine card) to serve as a visible marker of the citizen’s conformity to the supposedly wholly beneficent and thus fundamentally undebatable ideological program. 

3. As expected, a minority of the society questions whether the project in question is as immaculately conceived and wholly altruistic as they are being told. And they often express their discontent by eschewing the implied demand to sport the government’s talisman of ideological conformity. 

4.  In so doing, they effectively “out” themselves as “problematic” before their more pliant fellow citizens. 

5. This delights the cynical elites who have set the whole festival of officialist virtue signaling in motion, as it provides them with a readily identifiable symbol of hate-worthiness, a vast field of humanoid bloody socks if you will, with which to further inflame the passions of the great mass of conformists. 

6. Seeing the very real possibility that they too might be subject to a moral lynching, other nonconformists will naturally think twice about violating the verbal and semiotic codes of compliance in the future. 

7. The officialist ideology thus takes on an appearance of popularity that it does not in fact have in reality which, in turn further convinces other possible nonconformists of the futility of seeking to resist it. 

8. Lather, rinse and repeat. 

Where to go from here? I’m not exactly sure. However, I think I know of a couple of good places to start.

The first is to remind people again and again that in a halfway functioning democracy nothing is ever beyond debate for the simple reason that no one or no corporate entity, no matter how powerful they may appear, has a monopoly on wisdom, truth, or morality.

The second is to revive a simple practice that was known to, and modeled by, all the adults in my extended family when I was a kid, but that seems to have been largely forgotten under the pressures of an online culture that assumes the information from our inner lives is there to be plundered for profit of others. 

What is it?

When someone asks you to share something that is not theirs to know, and could be used by unscrupulous others to defame or control you, you look them straight in the eye and exclaim in sharp tones and without the slightest hint of a smile: “It’s none of your damn business.” (read more)

Sunday Talks, El-Erian Speaks in Coded Language About Inflation Not Going to Improve

Mohamed El-Erian is generally more correct than most, but the insufferable coded language he is required to use makes it difficult for the ordinary person to see exactly what he is saying.   For this CBS segment, we will apply the decipher. [Transcript Here]

Notice this key phrase in the beginning of his discussion of inflation. “Of course, we know about the Ukraine war, we know about the energy transition, also the Federal Reserve mischaracterize inflation and fell behind.”  No, Mohamed, most Americans do not know about the forced energy transition and how that has created this unavoidable inflation spiral.  How about dropping the code and saying it directly?  Joe Biden initiating the Green New Deal means much higher prices are permanent.

El-Erian speaks about supply side inflation, but doesn’t want to talk about the next phase, demand and service side inflation.  The three month inflation data is higher than the year-over-year inflation data. That means inflation is growing.  There is no way for inflation to drop when the most recent price increases are significantly higher than the previous price increases.  Inflation is now detached from any intervention. WATCH.

Consumer demand for non critical goods is contracting at the same time prices continue rising (that’s stagflation).  Demand side contraction, what El Erian calls “demand destruction,” means lost jobs (that’s recession).  Food, fuel and energy prices all continue rising.  The field costs are higher than current fork costs, and that (30%+) wave of inflation coming in from over the horizon is going to blow the doors off any economic growth.  The process is unavoidable now.

The credit markets will feel the impact before the end of the year as consumers will no longer be able to make payments for loans, and still eat.  Mortgage defaults will increase, vehicle repossessions will increase, credit card debt and bankruptcies will increase. The credit markets will get drowned in a tsunami of default.  That’s the direct language El Erian will not use, but it is present inside the coded-language he does use.

Get Your Monkeypox On

The made-for-TV January 6^th Capitol Riot hearings kicked off last night with tribute video of a whole lot of pissed-off ordinary Americans marching on the stately building where, that fateful day, the final certification ceremony of a blatantly dishonest election was underway after, mind you, four years of seditious machinations by a weaponized bureaucracy aimed at disabling and destroying the sitting chief executive — in case it’s unclear why the huge crowd flocked to the capital city in the first place.

The Party of Chaos is playing its hand: a select committee of seven deuces and two jokers. Do they look like they’re going to get through this extravaganza without humiliating themselves? You never know what might come out of some witness’s mouth, despite the orchestrations of former ABC’s Good Morning America producer James Goldston, brought in to cement the narrative in the collective public brain, pre-softened with years of manifold media mind-fuckeries.

It’s the centerpiece of their midterm campaign. And I submit that it may be just a little premature as it becomes increasingly clear that the Party of Chaos, led by the “winner” of the 2020 election, “Joe Biden” and unseen handlers, have nearly completed their mission of destroying the USA as an ongoing enterprise. Broken economy, broken health, broken military, broken law enforcement, broken culture, broken morale. They sure got’er done. Do they think nobody noticed?

If the January 6^th Committee show is short-and-sweet, say a few weeks, it will be quickly forgotten in the welling summertime heat as the great masses of America groan under $5… $7… maybe $10-a-gallon gasoline prices (or maybe no gas at all) while diesel prices at $6.50 today are already destroying the trucking industry — and thus the entire system for delivering all goods around the country. The zeitgeist is quivering with intimations of food shortages and the philosopher reminds us that any given body politic is just nine missed meals away from bloody rebellion. Have another look at that motley January 6^th committee group photo and consider the lampposts along Pennsylvania Avenue.

It’s a dangerous game trying to beat down the population this way, and to what end, exactly? I doubt that even the Blue Team could articulate it… or would dare to… because at this point their sole aim, really, is to hide their many acts of criminality over a span of the past six years and escape prosecution, a compelling motive. And it’s getting harder and harder to conceal all that, especially their campaign to physically harm over 200-million people with mRNA “vaccines.” The body-count is rising — way higher even than deaths from the hypothetical “pandemic” that the “vaccines” were supposedly concocted to vanquish, and spectacularly failed to.

And was this Covid-19 “pandemic” itself cooked up tacitly to disorder the 2020 election with mail-in ballots so easily replicated, harvested, and stuffed by the bale into drop-boxes under cover of night? Kind of looks like it, more and more. And now, the Party of Chaos is so keenly desperate to stay out of prison that they apparently seek to repeat the trick in the fall midterm, which is otherwise quite certain to sweep them ignominiously off the game board like so many misplayed quoits.

Thus: monkeypox, the visitation of weeping pustules far more visually horrifying than was Covid-19 in all its spikey iterations, if actually hardly lethal. The hopelessly corrupt CDC has already gotten into the act with its guidance to mask-up on airplanes against this new plague. Perhaps travelers would do better wearing condoms on their noses. Apparently, monkeypox spreads by means of intensely intimate flesh-to-flesh contact. The current outbreak popped up following a giant sex rave in the Canary Islands, men having rough sex with other men. Suspicions abound that this monkeypox bears the earmarks of something engineered in a lab. Jeez, d’ya think?

If there is a God, when judgment is at hand, a jury in the court of the angels will bum-rush this Party of Chaos into a special hell of an eternal drag queen story hour, featuring Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) reading Uncle Remus to an assembled multitude of howling Jacobins, Bolsheviks, and Maoist Red Guards. Refreshments will not be served. Ever. (read more)

Is This January 6 Show Trial Even Real Life?

Tucker Carlson’s Thursday night show was a special feature on the January 6 war crimes trial

I have mostly stopped following the whole January 6 drama. It’s just too much, and I just don’t care.

But now they are doing the actual hearings, which appear to be some kind of Nuremberg-style war crimes trial against Americans who protested the 2020 election. If you want to be more politically correct in your analysis, you could call it a “Soviet-style show trial,” but I think that would be less accurate. The Soviets built a system of laws designed to facilitate show trials, whereas Nuremberg was a drastic and totally unprecedented departure from Western norms of jurisprudence. This January 6 circus show is a drastic departure from the established laws of this country, and appears to be setting the standard for a new kind of legal system.

So, what exactly is going on here?

But that isn’t enough for these Jews in the government. They are continuing to claim that the January 6 protest was an “insurrection,” despite the fact that no one had guns.

For a bit of context, while this is the number one story in America, several other things are happening:

• We are the closest we’ve ever been to a nuclear war in all of history
• Inflation is increasing so rapidly that it is wrecking the ability of even well-off people to live normal lives
• We’re headed straight toward some kind of monumental economic crisis
• Kids are being turned into trannies on purpose by government schools
• Crime has skyrocketed to the point where it is virtually impossible to live a normal life in any major urban center

The Sanhedrin said – and the media agreed – that “our democracy is at risk.” I don’t really understand what that means when they say it, but as a statement in a vacuum, it’s obviously true. I’m not a huge fan of democracy – at all – but it’s the system we’ve had for 150 years or so now, and it’s a system that at the very least will assure some rights of the people, even while it causes severe social degradation and corruption.

This system of democracy is now being phased out in favor of an open authoritarian system. By giving these new powers to the Congress, which effectively allows the legislative branch to take on executive powers, we’re fundamentally altering the entire structure of the government.

This is not a joke – the FBI is rounding people up for refusing to participate in this scam. Congress doesn’t have the power to order the FBI to round people up, but they’re just doing it anyway. When the FBI rounds you up, it has been, up until now, for the purpose of putting you before the judicial branch of government – not the Congress. There are various loopholes and technicalities being exploited here of course, but we are seeing the final result now, which is this Nuremberg thing. This has never happened before in American history.

You can talk about Ray Epps and the pipe bombs and the police opening the doors and the secret security camera footage – but the point is, none of that is required to be entered into the record here, because this is not a real court. It is a fake court, with a Congressional committee pretending to be a court, and it nullifies the concept of separation of powers, which if you graduated third grade, you know is the basis of our government’s structure.

So beyond simply destroying democracy, they are going back further, and wrecking the Constitutional foundation of the US government.

From this point forward, everything is going to be very different. Obviously, we’ve been seeing the erosion of all of the systems of government for a long time now, and it’s been speeding up, but this January 6 Sanhedrin is a horse of a different color.

The implications of this are that the government is in the process of solidifying total power, where they are just able to do anything they want. This obviously isn’t about January 6 – no one cares about that, including the people conducting this farce. This is about completely destroying the remnants of a civilized system of law and order.

It’s hard to believe this is even real life. It feels, on some level, like I am living in some kind of surreal false reality.

Liz Cheney should have a sign over her head reading: “Abandon All Hope Ye Who Enter Here.”

From here on out, things are going to get a lot worse before they get any better.

Despite Massive Media Promotion and Every Outlet Pushing, J6 Prime Time Hearings Fall Flat with Less Than Half Regular Audience

Despite every single media outlet, broadcast and cable, promoting the J6 committee hearings which aired on every channel during prime-time viewership, the total Neilsen audience was around 20 million.  According to media tracker Joe Concha that’s about half an ordinary viewership for the regular broadcast networks.

Given the amount of attention the corporate media pushed in advance, the results are a major failure for the J6 effort.  As noted by Just The News, the ratings were “dismal.”

Tucker Carlson opened his show tonight talking about the media fiasco, and Tucker is also the only broadcast to cover the new Biden ethanol mandate.

Top of the news today, at any rate in the Regime Media, is the first of the six (6) congressional hearings we’ve been promised on last year’s Capitol Hill protests against the 2020 election.

The chairman of this event is some congresscritter named Bennie Thompson, of whom I had never heard until yesterday. Representative Thompson is black, as he was at pains to make clear for those people watching who may have failed to notice the fact. Edited quote:

We have twisted and deformed our entire society—our justice system, our educational system—in efforts to appease them, but they only ask for more.

There is an instance of that deformation of our society staring right back at you, Mr. Chairman: the January 6 killing of unarmed white female protestor Ashli Babbitt by armed black male Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd. After a perfunctory inquiry, Lt. Byrd was cleared of any wrongdoing.

I know it’s trite to say it, Mr. Chairman, but do you really believe that a white male cop who shot an unarmed black woman under any circumstances whatsoever would get away without a word of reprimand?

You believe that? Really?

Now tell me what federal statistics show about black assaults on whites. A respectable commentator has written the following:

In the U.S., blacks commit the vast share of the interracial violence between blacks and whites that is not classified as a hate crime: 88 percent [Using Tragedy for Racial Propaganda, by Heather Mac Donald, City Journal, May 23, 2022].

Is that figure wrong, Mr. Chairman? As a federal legislator, do you have federal statistics that contradict it?

Accumulated over the 157 years since the Civil War ended, what are the numbers for (a) blacks killed by whites using any method, including lynching, and (b) whites killed by blacks? Do you have an estimate for those numbers, Mr. Chairman?

I’m wasting my breath, of course. This is the United States of Black Racial Grievance. The whining, the narcissism, the twisting and deforming: these are America’s reason for existing. Without them we would drift aimlessly, without purpose or goal.

And this committee and its so-called “investigation” is, as most of us understand, nothing to do with justice, Constitutionality, or national security. It is the opening salvo in a crudely political campaign to prevent Donald J. Trump from running for president in 2024.

The hatred our Ruling Class has for Trump is manifest. It still, after six years, burns fierce and bright. It’s really an extraordinary thing.

I can remember the hatred those same people—well, their 1970s equivalents—had for Richard Nixon, who was a much better president—and a much better man—than Trump.

One of my workmates at Savin Business Machines in the mid-1970s was proud owner of some rolls of toilet paper with Nixon’s portrait on each sheet. Even at the time, when I was still a liberal twenty-something, I thought that was a bit over the top. Or under the bottom, perhaps…

The Regime’s hatred of Trump is far beyond that. It’s really a wonder to behold, and drives much of our national policy.

And this hatred, this Trump Derangement Syndrome, is just the emblem, the outward symbol, of their hatred for us, normal white Americans.

Sixty-three million of us voted for Trump in 2016 because, I think they know, we were fed up with having their anti-white, anti-American ideology rammed down our throats.

Trump was an outsider, not one of them, not a member of the Uniparty establishment. That’s why we liked him; that’s why they hate him.

I hope for a Trumpish victory in 2024. Here’s my advice to the victor: Drain that swamp!

In particular, end the naked politicization of federal law enforcement. There need to be mass purges, mass firings, from the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Defense.

I’m not sure how deep the purges would need to go. At the bottom levels—border security officers in Homeland Security, for example—there must be many federal employees who’d be glad to do their jobs if they were allowed to. Perhaps the same is even true of the FBI.

In the upper ranks, though, where the decisions are made to hunt down and persecute dissidents and turn blind eyes to real crime, I want to see mass layoffs.

I’ll even pay their damned inflated federal pensions; just get them out of Washington, D.C.

Calvin Coolidge fired the Boston police strikers; Ronald Reagan fired the air traffic controllers: there are two fine examples to guide you, Mister President.

For a really radical approach, consider just shutting down departments and agencies altogether. America got along for 157 years without an FBI; do we really need one? We managed for two hundred and twenty-seven years without a Department of Homeland Security; how on earth did we cope?

And if you’re going to be that radical, go further and move federal departments out of Washington, D.C. The city is a hive of intrigue. What would be wrong with the Justice Department being based in Idaho, Defense in Kansas, Treasury in Arkansas, the State Department in…oh, I don’t know…Alaska?

Let’s have some real reform: reform in the direction of more of our traditional liberties, more local control of our affairs, less power to the Administrative State. The course we are currently on leads to despotism and despair. Let’s change course.

I’m sorry: the sheer volume of dishonesty and hypocrisy, of disregard for truth and facts, gets me sputtering. We’re really getting up to North Korean levels of Establishment lying.

Although unlike North Korea, we still have a few news outlets that resist posting regime propaganda, for which we should be grateful.

The front page of my New York Post this morning had no mention of the committee hearings. It was entirely given over to the story about a 15-year-old girl (race unspecified) sitting at home doing her homework when she was hit by a stray bullet—although not fatally, thank goodness. (read more)

The False and Exaggerated Claims Still Being Spread About the Capitol Riot

Insisting on factual accuracy does not make one an apologist for the protesters. False reporting is never justified, especially to inflate threat and fear levels.

What took place at the Capitol on January 6 was undoubtedly a politically motivated riot. As such, it should not be controversial to regard it as a dangerous episode. Any time force or violence is introduced into what ought to be the peaceful resolution of political conflicts, it should be lamented and condemned.

But none of that justifies lying about what happened that day, especially by the news media. Condemning that riot does not allow, let alone require, echoing false claims in order to render the event more menacing and serious than it actually was. There is no circumstance or motive that justifies the dissemination of false claims by journalists. The more consequential the event, the less justified, and more harmful, serial journalistic falsehoods are.

Yet this is exactly what has happened, and continues to happen, since that riot almost seven weeks ago. And anyone who tries to correct these falsehoods is instantly attacked with the cynical accusation that if you want only truthful reporting about what happened, then you’re trying to “minimize” what happened and are likely an apologist for if not a full-fledged supporter of the protesters themselves.

One of the most significant of these falsehoods was the tale — endorsed over and over without any caveats by the media for more than a month — that Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick was murdered by the pro-Trump mob when they beat him to death with a fire extinguisher. That claim was first published by The New York Times on January 8 in an article headlined “Capitol Police Officer Dies From Injuries in Pro-Trump Rampage.” It cited “two [anonymous] law enforcement officials” to claim that Sicknick died “with the mob rampaging through the halls of Congress” and after he “was struck with a fire extinguisher.”

A second New York Times article from later that day — bearing the more dramatic headline: “He Dreamed of Being a Police Officer, Then Was Killed by a Pro-Trump Mob” — elaborated on that story.

After publication of these two articles, this horrifying story about a pro-Trump mob beating a police officer to death with a fire extinguisher was repeated over and over, by multiple journalists on television, in print, and on social media. It became arguably the single most-emphasized and known story of this event, and understandably so — it was a savage and barbaric act that resulted in the harrowing killing by a pro-Trump mob of a young Capitol police officer.

It took on such importance for a clear reason: Sicknick’s death was the only example the media had of the pro-Trump mob deliberately killing anyone. In a January 11 article detailing the five people who died on the day of the Capitol protest, the New York Times again told the Sicknick story: “Law enforcement officials said he had been ‘physically engaging with protesters’ and was struck in the head with a fire extinguisher.”

But none of the other four deaths were at the hands of the protesters: the only other person killed with deliberate violence was a pro-Trump protester, Ashli Babbitt, unarmed when shot in the neck by a police officer at close range. The other three deaths were all pro-Trump protesters: Kevin Greeson, who died of a heart attack outside the Capitol; Benjamin Philips, 50, “the founder of a pro-Trump website called Trumparoo,” who died of a stroke that day; and Rosanne Boyland, a fanatical Trump supporter whom the Times says was inadvertently “killed in a crush of fellow rioters during their attempt to fight through a police line.”

This is why the fire extinguisher story became so vital to those intent on depicting these events in the most violent and menacing light possible. Without Sicknick having his skull bashed in with a fire extinguisher, there were no deaths that day that could be attributed to deliberate violence by pro-Trump protesters. Three weeks later, The Washington Post said dozens of officers (a total of 140) had various degrees of injuries, but none reported as life-threatening, and at least two police officers committed suicide after the riot. So Sicknick was the only person killed who was not a pro-Trump protester, and the only one deliberately killed by the mob itself.

It is hard to overstate how pervasive this fire extinguisher story became. Over and over, major media outlets and mainstream journalists used this story to dramatize what happened.

Television hosts gravely intoned when telling this story, manipulating viewers’ emotions by making them believe the mob had done something unspeakably barbaric (video).

After the media bombarded Americans with this story for a full month without pause, it took center stage at Trump’s impeachment process. As former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy noted, the article of impeachment itself stated that “Trump supporters ‘injured and killed law enforcement personnel.’” The House impeachment managers explicitly claimed on page 28 of their pretrial memorandum that “the insurrectionists killed a Capitol Police officer by striking him in the head with a fire extinguisher.”

Once the impeachment trial ended in an acquittal, President Joe Biden issued a statement and referenced this claim in the very first paragraph. Sicknick, said the President, lost “his life while protecting the Capitol from a violent, riotous mob on January 6, 2021.”

The problem with this story is that it is false in all respects. From the start, there was almost no evidence to substantiate it. The only basis were the two original New York Times articles asserting that this happened based on the claim of anonymous law enforcement officials.

Despite this alleged brutal murder taking place in one of the most surveilled buildings on the planet, filled that day with hundreds of cellphones taping the events, nobody saw video of it. No photographs depicted it. To this day, no autopsy report has been released. No details from any official source have been provided.

Not only was there no reason to believe this happened from the start, the little that was known should have caused doubt. On the same day the Times published its two articles with the “fire extinguisher” story, ProPublica published one that should have raised serious doubts about it.

The outlet interviewed Sicknick’s brother, who said that “Sicknick had texted [the family] Wednesday night to say that while he had been pepper-sprayed, he was in good spirits.” That obviously conflicted with the Times’ story that the mob “overpowered Sicknick” and “struck him in the head with a fire extinguisher,” after which, “with a bloody gash in his head, Mr. Sicknick was rushed to the hospital and placed on life support.”

But no matter. The fire extinguisher story was now a matter of lore. Nobody could question it. And nobody did: until after a February 2 CNN article that asked why nobody has been arrested for what clearly was the most serious crime committed that day: the brutal murder of Officer Sicknick with a fire extinguisher. Though the headline gave no hint of this, the middle of the article provided evidence which essentially declared the original New York Times story false:

In Sicknick's case, it's still not known publicly what caused him to collapse the night of the insurrection. Findings from a medical examiner's review have not yet been released and authorities have not made any announcements about that ongoing process.

According to one law enforcement official, medical examiners did not find signs that the officer sustained any blunt force trauma, so investigators believe that early reports that he was fatally struck by a fire extinguisher are not true.

The CNN story speculates that perhaps Sicknick inhaled “bear spray,” but like the ProPublica interview with his brother who said he inhaled pepper spray, does not say whether it came from the police or protesters. It is also just a theory. CNN noted that investigators are “vexed by a lack of evidence that could prove someone caused his death as he defended the Capitol during last month's insurrection.” Beyond that, “to date, little information has been shared publicly about the circumstances of the death of the 13-year veteran of the police force, including any findings from an autopsy that was conducted by DC's medical examiner.”

Few noticed this remarkable admission buried in this article. None of this was seriously questioned until a relatively new outlet called Revolver News on February 9 compiled and analyzed all the contradictions and lack of evidence in the prevailing story, after which Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, citing that article, devoted the first eight minutes of his February 10 program to examining these massive evidentiary holes.

That caused right-wing media outlets to begin questioning what happened, but mainstream liberal outlets — those who spread the story aggressively in the first place — largely and predictably ignored it all.

This week, the paper that first published the false story — in lieu of a retraction or an explanation of how and why it got the story wrong — simply went back to the first two articles, more than five weeks later, and quietly posted what it called an “update” at the top of both five-week-old articles.

With the impeachment trial now over, the articles are now rewritten to reflect that the original story was false. But there was nothing done by The New York Times to explain an error of this magnitude, let alone to try to undo the damage it did by misleading the public. They did not expressly retract or even “correct” the story. Worse, there is at least one article of theirs, the January 11 one that purports to describe how the five people died that day, which continues to include the false “fire extinguisher” story with no correction or update.
